FINALLY some US interviews! And these are good ones. Adam doesn't get the media coverage in the US at the same level that he gets it in the UK and Australia and NZ and other countries. It's been very frustrating. But I am thrilled that he's got these US interviews promoting the album and that he gets to talk a bit about himself, too.
Can someone tell me what web site they used to purchase the CD/DVD for Live Around the World? I am having so much trouble trying to purchase one. I must be doing something wrong, but I don't know what. Thanks
Enjoyed the interviews. Adam sounds at ease and grounded, even though he seems to have more "irons in the fire" than one would expect during this pandemic. In a way, it's weird for him to be interviewed by US stations...while he's in the UK. So often it's the other way around. He's really doing a lot of promoting for the QAL album. Too bad he can't do more for "Velvet" too....although it is occasionally mentioned in these interviews.
I hope the "Live Around The World" is a real blockbuster! If it is, they will really feel the need to make a "Live Around The World 2", won't they? Frankly, I can't believe that won't happen. It's probably on the back burner right now. There's so many iconic performances still to be memorialized.
Something to look forward to...and to enjoy....during these trying times! Can't wait to receive my order!
I'm especially thrilled that QAL are producing a DVD of their concerts. In my opinion, Queen and Adam Lambert should be SEEN performing. They are definitely visual...as well as auditory. Much like opera...or a musical...for more than just the ears. And they never disappoint! Even seeing/hearing the audiences adds to the immersive experience.
Thanks, Lynn — and, actually, your purchase today helps the album to stay at #1 on the UK's Official Albums Chart (see newer post above). I'm actually going there too to buy!

broddybounce...would your order actually count in UK sales... and not USA sales?
To my knowledge, yes, as it depends upon total number of sales from store where it was purchased — not the address it's going to.
Where is the album placed in the charts in the US? Hope it's going gangbusters.
