Original Cast Recording Of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cinderella Released, ft. Adam Lambert (UPDATED)

Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cinderella is a brand-new stage musical with music by ALW, lyrics by David Zippel and book by Emerald Fennell that started previews at The Gillian Lynne Theatre in London on June 25, 2021.
In advance of its official opening night performance on July 20th, ALW decided to release the soundtrack album to the show, which was recorded mostly by its West End cast but also includes performances by a few who will not be in the cast — not the least of whom includes Adam Lambert, the preliminary details of which we posted about back in December.

Adam's primary track is "The Vanquishing Of The Three-Headed Sea Witch," which, unfortunately, ALW stated in a video on his Instagram account this morning "...sadly is no longer in the show" (we added that IG post at the bottom of this post).  Adam is also featured prominently on a rather short track entitled "Man's Man (Reprise)."  He has also been listed as being on "The Wedding Party"; however, after a listen, there is no distinguishable solo by Adam, so he may have simply contributed to the entire cast singing the song as an ensemble, which forms a good chunk of the track.

Adam is, however, featured in the CD booklet of the album (screenshots are followed by original tweet from where they were sourced: from shellstar79 by way of Gelly).

UPDATED (7/10/21): For those not on social media, we've added a video below from Gelly that compiles images and video that were on Adam's IG/Twitter and ALW's IG.

And now here are those Adam social media posts we referred to above:

Andrew Lloyd Webber mentions Adam in an Instagram post:

I'm so blown away, impressed and in awe of Adam's vocals I don't know where to start. I will probably be back with more posts as the rest of you comment.

Adam's song is so much fun! It's very detailed and complex, but he nails it as he always does. Still hoping that Adam gets his shot on the big stage or in a film role that would be perfect for him.

Love hearing the name "Adam Lambert" being spoken by ALW. He certainly recognizes his amazing talent!

Couldn't agree with you both more. And I'm so impressed that Adam worked directly with ALW — love that blurry photo of him thumb-pointing at ALW in the studio — that "hey, look at who I'M with!!" type of gesture. But, you know, I have no doubt ALW was blown away with Adam and, who knows, maybe he'll write a role for him in his next musical. ??? In the meantime, I hope Adam picked ALW's brain for advice on his (Adam's) own musical! Right...?!? Who better to get advice from..?! Maybe ALW will put up the money and/or convince Cameron Mackintosh to put up the money and maybe even produce it. ???

Just added a video from Gelly that compiles all of Adam's social media posts about the project, as well as of Andrew Lloyd Webber's comment about Adam on his IG.

You're right, broddy. This connection between Adam and ALW would be the start of something very very interesting. ALW HAD to have been impressed. And he's heard tons of great singers over the years.

That Man's Man song has just a bit of delightful naughtiness. Perfect for Adam. Love it! Would love for him to actually play that character.

I WILL VOICE WHAT Brian has said many times ( there not another one like it on the planet as great that is.)
