Adam Lambert just spent two days in New York City in meetings as well as attending Broadway shows (Company and Jagged Little Pill) — and now is in London — and met up today (11/19/21) with his ol' pal, Boy George!  (As always, thank you, Gelly.)

I have the impression that Gelly is attached to Adam at the hip! She's always present (and snapping photos) wherever Adam is.
But, color me stupid, I actually don't know what position she actually holds in her relationship with Adam. Can anyone explain it to me?

Ha!!! See what I mean? Adam is sneaky first him and Shosh were in New York, Shosh from what I heard attended the Red Carpet for Lady Gaga’s “Gucci” movie premiere in London, now he’s in London too!!! What in the world is Adam up too??? Something is brewing, hmmm. 🧐🤨.

You know Nanbert I’d like to know myself how the heck Gelly gets info on Adam. I just know she’s like us a huge fan of Adam’s but she is doing something, who knows what. 🤷‍♀️

Oops one thing, I saw Adam on a tik tok video he did and his eyebrow doesn’t have the slit!
Nanbert, no slit!!! I hope to God it never comes back because I hated that look too!

I see Gelly as a good generous person who is top of the heap in knowing how to use technology. She is a dedicated to Adam and I have never seen her post a criticism of Adam. Never. She is very likable. I'm confident if you could read her twitter you wouldn't be asking about her.

Unlike me who doesn't like Adam wearing a nose ring. I've always thought of them as subservient.

Very excited that Adam is in London but wonder what for? Hope it's something significant in his next phase of projects. He and Boy George seem to be pretty good buddies. Nice that they got to meet up!

I don't know Gelly's story either. All I know is that she somehow provides us with amazing photos of Adam anywhere and everywhere. That's good enough for me.

Sunflower...Great News!...no slit?...no s--t! (Sorry, just couldn't resist the pun.) Hope it's real, and that he hasn't just temporarily filled in that eyebrow with an eyebrow pencil or brush. It's kind of early for it to be completely grown in again.

I love Adam's eyebrows, and almost had a heart attack when I first saw his Poseidon makeup...with NO EYEBROWS! Fortunately, I quickly realized they had been temporarily obliterated by Adam's cunning and artistic makeup....whew! He certainly looked strange without them, barely recognizable! But, it really showcased how important his eyebrows...anybody's eyebrows.... are to one's appearance.

Also, alright, I'll admit that I'm not even sure of Shosh's relationship with Adam...assume it's like a business manager or publicist or something official. Do they travel together?

Adam's maybe in London for filming that "Star-Struck...".. or whatever... TV program he's going to be judging in. Sorry, can't remember the name.

Dee R Gee said...

The filming of Starstruck has been done for a while and will start airing in January. Should be fun!

I just consider Shosh his publicist. She does travel around with him from time and time and keeps him on a schedule as best she can. They seem to get along well. They have been working together for quite a while now. He does have an official manager, I THINK. But I don't know who that is.

And I am over the eyebrow slit thing. Hope that one grows back ok without any bare spots LOL

Nanbert said...

Well, just about the time that the "eyebrow conundrum" seems to be resolving, we've got the "nose ring aggravation" to contend with! Yeah, Patria, like you, I don't like nose rings either....they seem demeaning....also, they often look like "boogers"...heh heh. Oh my, guess I'm just not very hip!

So I just read on Twitter that Adam went to see a new (er old but new) version of “Caberet” (never saw it but remember Joel Grey and Liza Minnelli were in it), this new one stars Eddie Redmayne and Jessie Buckley, still in London. Hmmm Adam and all these plays, could it be he’s picking up some ideas he can use for his play? Starstruck will begin airing on Saturdays in January.

Nanbert and Patria same with me, don’t care for nose rings, it makes me want to scratch my nose. Lol

Yes Patria I follow Gelly on Twitter and she is as you say “likable” and she has been very nice to me regarding my comments to her about Adam. The news about Adam and Cabaret she retweeted someone else’s tweet but I do believe she uses technology because she lives in Greece! I live in the United States and when Adam is home in LA I know nothing, zilch, nada about Adam’s activities! Hahaha. So 24/7, Twitter and Instagram are my go to sites for info on Adam and I am so grateful for that! ❤️

Nanbert said...

So Gelly lives in Greece! So she's NOT tailing Adam around everywhere he goes....except through technology! I'm very impressed! Sunflower, less than you, MY only go-to sites for Adam are 24/7 and Youtube...and I'm grateful for them.

Nanbert said...

Re: my last comment.....24/7....broddybounce and glitzylady... THANKS SO-O-O MUCH for keeping me/us up to date on all things Adam. You don't get enough appreciation/thanks for all your hard work. Much love!

Dee R Gee said...

Ditto from me! It's not easy to run and site. It takes lots of attention and monitoring and constant research. Kudos to Broddy and Glitzy for all their work! We DO appreciate it.

And hoping that whatever Adam is doing in London is leading up to some big news about his project. That musical he's been working on has got be shaping up by now. It's been quite a while. Looking forward to Nov. 30 and seeing Adam and Darren do their duet!

Sunflower said...

Yes Nanbert, some time ago a Glambert asked her where she’s from and told her I live in Greece. I always thought she was American (lol) but until now I know she isn’t. Nevertheless grateful for her effort and of course our very own Broddy and Glitzylady, thank you thank you!!!

Before I forget again, the other day the E (Entertainment) channel tweeted that “Clash…Cover bands” are taking a break and will be back with a new show on Wednesday December 1.

Nanbert said...

Ranging around in the "musical fields" in NY and the UK as he's been doing lately, makes me wonder, too, if Adam isn't exploring the business side of his musical. Exciting thought! Maybe he's looking for backing.

BTW...I listened to Adam and Darren's duet on Youtube (more than once)and it's really good... lively and with great harmonies! As much as I dread hearing Xmas music earlier and earlier each year, I would not object to Adam and Darren's opus becoming a Christmas "staple" everywhere.

Dee R Gee said...

Nan, I would love to see Adam and Darren duet become a Christmas staple, kind of like Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You," I really like Adam and Dareen's duet. It's intricate and jazzy. I hope Adam gets to do more of this type of thing.

PRO PHOTOS/ Adam Lambert and Brian May on the red carpet ITV Palooza! tonight in London, looking gorgeous!

Nanbert said...

SO GOOD to see Adam and Brian together again!....even if only for red carpet photos. Adam looks very handsome, as usual, but surprisingly understated, clothes and jewelry-wise! Most importantly, Brian looks HEALTHY and happy.

I assume they were not performing, but only celebrity audience members. What was the ITV Palooza about, anyway? If an award show, were they there as recipients?

Dee R Gee said...

So that's one of the reasons he went over there! So great to see them together after so long!

Sunflower said...

Doesn’t Adam look stunning in these photos from this event from London?!

Nanbert Adam DID perform (not Brian) at this Palooza event, I am not sure what this/was for, never heard of it before.

Adam sang Tina Turner’s “River Deep Mountain High” (I always liked this song) and “Show Must Go On”!

I saw the few clippings of these 2 performances, hoping it will be shown in it’s entirety, on Twitter.

Also Adam interviewed on the Red Carpet (actually it was Blue not Red), on video and another video where Adam is being photographed and Brian steps into the picture towards the end. I’m sure Broddy or Glitzylady will posts all of this here at 24/7. :))

Sunflower said...

Oh yeah another video of Adam singing where you see the audience on their feet and dancing to River Deep Mountain High.

Dee R Gee said...

Adam looks so fantastic on the red carpet! Great little interview. And yes, he could do a killer Elvis! So great to see Adam and Brian together again. And Adam's TSMGO was once again a show-stopper!

Awww, thank you so much Nanbert, Dee and Sunflower🌻 — we REALLY appreciate your gratitude, it means the world! Sorry we haven't been able to get every little bit posted lately — life's been very busy for both of us — but we appreciate the links you guys provide as well as, yes, the fantastic Gelly. Indeed, I don't know her full story, but she does seem to be extremely well connected to people all over the world and just does a magnificent job of posting and archiving — actually, it's not always easy to keep up with all she puts out!

Re. Shosh: I may be wrong, but I believe she is now his manager or, at least, co-manager. Yes, initially she was just his publicist but her agency added on management to their range of activities, if I recall correctly, and since Adam had such a great relationship with them — and, unfortunately, not so much with his prior management, including 19 and that last one that also managed Demi Lovato — so, it was a natural fit. I'm sure Adam is Shosh's primary client, both for management & PR. Their website, however, just says Edge Publicity, it doesn't say management, so who knows. Maybe the management is just Adam, but they have a slew of HUGE artists on their roster.

We will try to get a post up soon about this ITV appearance!

Thanks, broddy, for the info about Shosh. It does seem like she's doing much more with Adam than just being his publicist. She's very involved in everything he does and everywhere he goes. Seems like he's in good hands. His performances at this event were fantastic. But then, we expect nothing less from him. So great to see him with Brian, too.

Nanbert said...

Yes, thanks Broddy for the Shosh info. And, thanks for the great links, Mi Re La.

Wow! Adam sang two (2) songs at the ITV Palooza!!!! I certainly hope they'll turn up in their entirety on Youtube....and/or some dear Glambert will post them here when they become available.

So, another cover, "River Deep Mountain High", as a feather in Adam's hat! I wonder if he let loose that "black women" he claims to have inside! He probably "owns" that now, too. I wonder why he didn't sing one of his own songs. And, of course, TSMGO, the very apt crown jewel of the QAL repertoire.

SO happy for Adam that he has such prestige in the UK! That is, of course, largely due to his being so instrumental in the resurrection of Queen for their devoted fans. And remember how much hate he received from die-hard Freddie fans, especially at the beginning?

Just thinking...I was surprised at the conservativeness of Adam's clothing at the event. But after watching snippets of his performance, I am struck by how being entirely in black added to his gravitas, especially while singing "The Show Must Go On". I Wonder how purposeful that was. This "peacock" doesn't NEED to wear the brightest plumage to stand out!

Still...I DO get a kick out of his more colorful plumages, too!

Thanksgiving is the best holiday there is. Everyone is eligible to celebrate it. Along with everything else, I am thankful for Adam Lambert 24/7 News and every single person that comes here to post and celebrate Adam. Everyone. We each bring out own personality. Have a wonderful day of Thanksgiving fellow Glamberts.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Happy Thanksgiving Day to all! I will have table of eleven this year. My core family with a few more dear ones in the mix.

I imagine Adam will go to his dad's as he usually does? Amy makes all those fantastic pies.

Nanbert said...

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in my Glambert family. I AM THANKFUL FOR ADAM, 24/7, and ALL of my fellow Glamberts here. Will be sharing today with my son and his family...and missing (a lot!) the rest of my scattered family. Bon Appetit!

Is Adam home now?

Nanbert said...

Just realized that the probable reason Adam was so strongly featured (as closer!) in the UK ITV Palooza is that the "Star Struck" program he is judging on is on the British ITV channel....so that makes him sort of a member of that " ITV network family" now, doesn't it?

Whatever!...I'm just delighted to see Adam get the "STAR" treatment he so richly deserves. He was magnificent! Hope to see his performances in their entirety soon.

Dee R Gee said...

You must be right, Nanbert. They want to promo Star Struck" and Adam is their guy.

Saw on Facebook and great pic of Adam on the carpet at the ITV Palooza thing and he's posing with his feet spread out a bit. I think it really enhances the look of the long coat thing and gives it some attitude. He often stands with his arms straight down and feet together. This pic looks a lot more interesting, IMO.

Nanbert said...

I see what you mean, Dee R Gee. Adam sure is able to "occupy a space"! His presence is palpable.

Angeladam said...

He’s VERY popular over here in the UK in his own skin and of course QAL x

Patria said...

Thanks Angeladam, that's good to know.

broddybounce....We still haven't seen your "review" of Adam's Venetian concert. If you've been too busy, it's understandable....but if you feel too much time has passed for it to be pertinant, don't worry. We all love to hear about anything Adam....timely or not. Just thinking...maybe you had some insight of interest....but just plain "praise" works for us, too....heh heh. You seemed to indicate earlier that writing it would be...cathartic(?)...(but you used a similar meaning word which I forget)...that I thought was interesting at the time you wrote it.

Now that time has "seasoned" your impressions, how about some afterthoughts? Do you think the residency is/was successful (on a scale of 1-10) for Adam....in the context of Vegas Residencies? Just wondering how likely he would be to have another one...or more...or many!
I loved the concept of "streaming" the concert. Any information about the number of "streamers" that "attended"? Adam seems to be a trailblazer in the "streaming category", and it certainly helps him stay current with all his worldwide fans.

Nanbert, your wish is my command! POSTED!! Funny, I was JUST thinking about this as I was driving in my car earlier (telepathic connection!) and I was gonna get to it sometime this weekend. When I saw your comment above I was inspired and when I got home I just sat down and DID IT. Hope you like it.

Hey everyone, I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving day! As for me I made an appointment for this past Wednesday to get my “booster shot” now that I can (I didn’t qualify for the 65 and over group), and all day Wednesday I was okay but by bedtime the soreness in my left arm and the headache and chills kicked in, so I had a miserable time trying to sleep. The morning of Thanksgiving I had so much fatigue and again a headache but took 2 aspirins and felt a bit better. Went with one brother and sister-in-law to another brother’s house for Thanksgiving. I ate just fine but didn’t drink any alcohol because my headache was coming back, soon after my sis-in-law had to visit her mom, I was invited but declined. Wanted to go home, so I came home put on my pjs and fell asleep, and I awoke at one point but my eyes were like closed shut but I managed to open them. Sorry for my boring story but until today Saturday I still had soreness and fatigue, after all this I am so happy I got my “booster shot”! It’s very worth it 💉💪😁

Nanbert said...

Broddybounce, just read your "review"...Thanks SO much. I loved it...and agree that Adam's voice just keeps getting better and better. Maybe it is because (I read somewhere) that a tenor's voice does not usually mature until after his mid-thirties...at which time the lower range begins to become richer and stronger. It seems to be true in Adam's case, IMO. What do you think? I vaguely remember him making some comment about it...that he had to make more use of that lower range...or something similar.

Good for you, Sunflower! Sorry you had repercussions from your COVID booster, but that probably means you STILL had a sturdy Covid resistance built up in your body. I hope ALL Glamberts get immunized....AND EVERYONE ELSE, too...of course!
