Oh my.....imagine what it would be like if he hadn't said "YES"! The "Queen and Adam Lambert" collaboration is unique, PERFECT and iconic!!!!! Everyone gained....even us!
Nanbert, I couldn't agree more! We have been treated to double goodness of Adam-ness! His solo career and his Queen career and I love it. It's sad we lost what would have been two great years of Q+AL, not to mention a solo tour and the Xtina tour, but gotta pick it up now and move on. Adam will be doing solo for years to come, of course — I am praying that Brian and Roger have excellent health for at least another five years!! 🙏🏼. And very hopeful that are organizing another North American tour now.
Adam just posted a lovely message on Tik Tok about George Michael and his legacy. I assume he didn't write it, but he read it beautifully. I hope Adam uses Tik Tok more often. It reaches a huge young audience. I think he would benefit from that bigger connection.
Adam is really going crazy with appearances in the UK. Starstruck is doing very well in the ratings. He will be on that ant and dec show which apparently is a great gig to get. And he's going to be on another show, too, a kind of variety show or something. Along with some more radio-type interviews. They are really loving him there!!!
broddy, you are so right. We have been given the gift of this lovely, talented man. QAL will end, of course, but Adam has his whole life ahead of him, post-QAL. We all want him to flourish with his solo career for years to come. And he has already dabbled in other things with some success. Animated film, TV, this new musical project, and whatever else comes his way. I hope he lives a long, productive, happy life.
Dee R Gee and broddy, I agree with everything you both said. And if there's ONE wish I have for Adam, it's that he will be "HAPPY", and feel fulfilled in his career.
I also hope that he will NEVER fall into the "rabbit hole" that so many extraordinary talents have when they've found no new mountains to climb! But, hopefully, his many different talents and career possibilities will be buffers to that ennui.
