Adam, I am so happy that you are talking about romance and falling in love, being with someone. It is definitely less depressing then talking about society and all that. It just really changed the tone of the whole interview.

Hi Adam,
I was struck by the fact that you don't explore bondage in your real life and you were just acting out a role. I think most people watching do not watch from a point of view that you are not expressing as your real self on stage. You've said before that theatre was okay but the nice thing about being a performing artist is you get to perform as yourself on stage. So when you switched in your mind to theatre, we didn't get that. If you had done that as a part in a play, people would have got it.
I'm a big fan of yours, Adam, and I tell you the above as something to consider that may be a miscommunication between you and your audience.
Please consider being yourself on stage when you're a recording star and save acting out stuff that isn't you for a part in a musical. People want to feel they're listening to the real you expressing a song when you sing.
