Adam sold 50,648 copies this week! His total sales is now 249,114 ! That is a lot! At this rate, Adam will probably sell close to 400,000 copies before the end of this year and hopefully with the singles, it will cross 500,000 copies early next year!

Congrats Adam!

It's really not a lot. Who are you kidding? I think he lost his momentum after that AMA gig.

The recording industry is down by 45%. It isn't bad at all and he is still in the pack with a difference of only a couple of thousand--take a look at the list--no one (except Andre and Susan) are that high for this week. He is hanging in there.

Why is Susan Boyle that high? I've never heard her sing, but her cd is a list of remakes, and, according to critics, it isn't that good. Why is she above adam.
Also, I think Adam lost the first week highest rank thing because so many people had preordered the album. Wasn't he like the highest that they've seen in a long time? Or like second to Barbara streissman (that is her last name, right?) or something

Susan Boyle is that high Because she is backed by Simon Cowell. and we like it or not, is very good promoter of new artists.-

I think Susan is #1 because ppl feel sorry for her. She has a disablility and can somewhat sing...

The sales are good for today's economy. Even Kelly Clarkson hasn't sold over a million copies yet and she has had two hit singles. Adam has no hit singles yet so that is a very good amount of sales for the first two weeks.

ADAM is doing well considering this is the holiday season and everyone is looking for carols or Rudolph or Santa songs. ADAM is just beginning this journey into the recording industry ... just give him time & all your love & SUPPORT! Go ADAM!!

Didn't hurt that SuBo was hawked on QVC, either.

Also week by week sales aren't a telling factor in how well his album will do. Or how his career will do in the long run. It's not like the movies where that ONE weekend puts you on the map. Sometimes artists have to build up numbers slowly. Rhianna's best selling CD 'Good Girl Gone Bad' didn't have a super powerful first week but after time it built up and now look. It was one of the best selling albums of that year. Adam can have the same success. I don't go by week to week basis, it's the final numbers that truly count to me. It's the beginning of his career and he's made more of an impression (good and/of bad) on American than most American Idols. I wouldn't worry about week to week sales.

To the negativer commenter (the 1st one), it's Christmas time and it's Adam's fan site, be nice!

I called our local adult contemporary station and they said "What do you want from me" wasn't in their rotation list yet. The DJ blamed the record company and the holiday season. She thinks it will be promoted more after New Year's. However, our local top 40's station has told me they "will never play any of Adam's music". I believe they are homophobic bigtime.

considering the album isnt really very good hes doing fair. The album already fell out of the top 10 and the single is a flop.

Yes the AMA would have hurt Adam, but the sales are holding up so far, and i believe, will only continue to improve. Can anybody else smell afart in here???
