American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert releases his first post-Idol album next month. But first, the blogs are buzzing about his racy photo shoot for DETAILS magazine.

Lambert lands the November cover of DETAILS and the photo spread features him lying suggestively with a woman who is wearing nothing but a bikini. Lambert's head rests on her thigh and his right arm reaches around to grab the model's butt. In behind-the-scenes video provided by DETAILS to the Associated Press, Lambert is seen with his eyes closed and mouth open, imitating arousal.

After the shoot, Lambert answered questions posed by the magazine.

First music crush? "Probably Paula Abdul. I remember being a kid and being like, 'She's so cool!' And my mom and I going to the concert. And Madonna, Madonna was really pretty wild."

Dream collaborators? "Muse would be a really cool band to collaborate with. As of late, I think someone like Lady Gaga's really brilliant. Some of the greats, I think Elton John would be interesting to work with as a musician, Paul McCartney would be really interesting to sit down with, I'm sure. It'd be cool to sing with Aretha Franklin. I don't know, the list goes on!"

Most shocking song on his iPod? "There's that Miley Cyrus song, 'See You Again.' It's really a catchy song!"

The November issue of DETAILS hits newsstands in the US on October 27.

The time for miracles really has arrived now, in the fierce form of these sneak-previewed tracks:

"Entertainment" - The default title track and statement of intent, masterminded by Dr. Luke (Katy Perry) and Claude Kelly (Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson), Adam opens this one up, Rocky Horror-meets-Robbie Williams-style, with the audacious declaration: "I'm here for your entertainment!" And he ain't kidding. This is an ultra-caffeinated party-starter (imagine if Mika, Sam Sparro, and Kevin Rudolf had a threesome that resulted in the conception of a glittery alien baby...if you dare), and it's just begging to be remixed by everyone from Calvin Harris to the Neptunes to Justice--even though it sounds like a shiz-hawt remix already, as is.

"Winners" - A slinky, sexy, salacious dance-rock grinder with a keening, near-orgasmic vocal reminiscent of Adam's watershed "Ring Of Fire" performance, this Rob Cavallo-produced cut cracks open in the middle like a giant whitechocolatespaceegg to reveal a colossal, fist-pumping, Gary-Glittery chantalong chorus that seems lifted straight out of "We Will Rock You 2: Electric Boogaloo." So my guess is Queen's Brian May will be impressed by this massive masterwork, too. A winner, indeed.

"Music Again" - Okay, this is the song, also produced by Rob Cavallo, largely responsible for my current lack of coherence or composure. The minute this glammy tour de force forced its way out of the 19 Entertainment office's speakers, it was so white-hot I was instantly reduced to a puddle of melted spandex and runny eyeliner. A falsetto gang chorus like something off a lost Sweet outtakes album, squalling guitar riffs, pumping "Funkytown" beats...my head was pretty much exploding at this point, but I managed to hold my cranium together long enough to turn to a nearby 19 employee and jokingly state, "This sounds like the Darkness, if the Darkness were remixed." To which the employee answered, "That's funny you say that, because this song was actually written by [legendarily unitarded Darkness frontman] Justin Hawkins, and that's Justin on guitar."

Adam Lambert's song for the movie 2012 "Time For Miracles" has finally cracked the Top 10 on iTunes. It is currently at #9 and slowly moving up. The song has been making its way up to the chart since it was available to Amazon and iTunes midnight on Monday October 19.

It is not only heating up on iTunes, "Time For Miracles" is currently # 1 on Amazon.com for 2 days straight.

'Glee' Exclusive: Madonna is on board! Is Adam Lambert next?

Are you sitting down, Gleeks? Well you might want to, because we have some exclusive Glee news that’s positively Madge-ical. EW has learned that Madonna has given Glee the rights to her catalog and that an all-Madonna-music episode is in the works for early next year. The hit series has been building an audience and filling the iTunes charts with its cover songs, and Madonna’s involvement is a testament to how big the show is getting. Also, an amazing Glee cover of a classic Madonna track has the potential to be even bigger than the show’s blockbuster take on “Don’t Stop Believin’.” Quinn totally has to do “Papa Don’t Preach.” And I can completely see Rachel tackling “Material Girl.”

But Madonna might not be the only pop star getting some Glee love. Co-creator Ryan Murphy tells EW that he’s considering approaching American Idol runner up Adam Lambert about appearing on the show (next year, Glee will be paired with Idol on Wednesday nights). Nothing is official ye,t but Lambert does seem like an ideal choice for Glee.

Itching to work with... Lady Gaga. She has a bold look, and her music is awesome. We could have a lot of fun performing together.

Favorite discovery The iPhone. I love the Bump app that lets you exchange contact information with someone by bumping your phones together, and SpeakEasy is really great for recording vocals

Signature Scent Dior Homme. It's so yummy.

Style icons David Bowie, Marc Bolan, Mick Jagger, Steven Tyler, Prince, and Michael Jackson were big influences on me.

Fashion Faves Gareth Pugh has a men's line that's unbelievable. There's SkinGraft, an L.A. design house that made a lot of my leather jackets and accessories on Idol, Brian Lichtenberg, who does holographic leggings and sweatshirts, Diesel jeans, and Loree Rodkin jewelry.

Drink of choice... I'm addicted to those 5-Hour Energy shots and unsweetened iced coffees.

Recent spurge... My four-day get-away to the Bacara Resort and Spa in Santa Barbara. It cost a pretty penny but was well worth it.

Beauty essentials... OPI nail polish, MAC Smolder eyeliner, and Bed Head styling products

Necessary extravagance... Manicures. Often I paint my own nails, but on tour there's a manicurist on-site -- and she does a much better job!

If I didn't audition for Idol... I would still be a chorus boy in Wicked in Los Angeles.

Looking forward to... My album -- it's 100 percent me. Rock, pop, dance, electronic, and funk -- a little bit of everything.
