Adam is called a razor. Get one and shave your face now!!!

Handsome Adam
Sings from the heavens
You're the ethereal one
Standing tall at our beck and call
Unshaken and raw
Perhaps that's what attracts us even more
To shield you when the chips are down
The stone-throwing from amateurish clowns
I will follow him as and when I please
That's good enough for me
To hear him sing...
His virtuosity lights up my being
This just rolled out of me
Don't know where, how...telepathy, maybe
My way of connecting with his hypnotic artistry

Like that little bit of hair on the forehead. Scruff seems to be here for a while. Maybe it will be gone for the Queen tour.

Magiclady said...

Love the pic, but do like Adam's hair a little darker and longer. Love the scruff though!

Anonymous said...

He used to take pride in being himself, but he seems to have lost that, and now follows the trends of everyone else. He is still good looking, but everyone has face hair now, and he did not start the trend, he followed it. I wish he would go back to being original. he has even followed the same hair cut as everyone else. He gets clothes that are trending in fashion shows. He is just another pretty boy, but he has a huge talent. So that's the best part, that is his own and original. I am a little nervous about his new album, is he going with the flow of all new music, or will he have a sound of his own. We will see.

Sad that Adam's own fans are so judgmental of how Adam chooses to look.

Anonymous said...

He has chosen to look like everybody else, hate the shaved sides. Used to love the black hair.

Anonymous said...

I suspect most of us don't sport the exact same look as we did 5 years ago....why should Adam be any different? I think he looks exceedingly handsome here. His look is ever evolving.

Anonymous said...

Thank You, Universe.

Oh,
8:39pm,
Adam is called a razor? What does "razor" mean in the slightly snarky world you live in? :D

I only said those things about Adam, because I wanted to see if you were awake. This site has been so boring lately. I guess because Adam has been away, and it seems like nothing is happening. I am sure he is busy leading his own life doing what ever.

glitzylady said...

Ya know... Adam is a REALLLLLY handsome and extremely striking man, in his looks and in the way he dresses, the way he grooms himself. I just do not get the comments here criticizing how Adam is presenting himself, style-wise, these days. He is simply gorgeous.

And it it absolutely true that when Adam walks into a room, all eyes are instantly drawn to him. He is the epitome of "Tall, dark, and handsome...'. Trust me, it's not just me saying that... "Oh yeah, she's one of those crazy fans, she's smitten and she's going to say that, no matter what...."... My husband, who is much more objective than I am...he's a fan, certainly, and he always remarks on what a good looking guy Adam is. Always...And I don't pay him to say that either :))

Say what you want but Adam is certainly not "just another pretty boy who looks like everyone else..."....

Oh HECK no!!!

Anonymous said...

10:11 and here I was thinking you were a not too bright troll. Excusy.

Anonymous said...

My husband who is a serious businessman and is not a fan of anyone, definitely says Adam is a damn good-looking boy. Rarely I hear that kind of comment from him.

Anonymous said...

Glitzylady, I'll add "smile" to your list of Adam's striking features. Watching him walk the red carpet then suddenly smile or laugh and it drops you dead! I think it's because everything Adam is shines thru that smile and you feel his kindness, smartness, sense of humor and humbleness. It's very sexy on a man so confident and handsome. Absolutely Magnetic.

Adam Lambert stands alone in his unique gorgeousness!

10:38PM Elvis had the same charisma. He could just flash a smile and girls would melt. It was something special in Elvis and it's the same with Adam. It makes him a Star.

Anonymous said...

The women on the View melted when they met Adam. LOL I love it!

@9:36 PM

You are "Ground Hog Day" personified! Same old tired posts on every thread showing a picture of this beautiful man. Can you it least say something new regarding your distaste of the man and his looks?

I don't know if you are male or female; but it seems to me that your envy is quite obvious, and it's getting old!

It least you seem to recognize his amazing talents. Don't worry about his next album; I am pretty sure it will be as good as the last two; Adam doesn't do bad! By the way, Adam's gorgeous looks are just icing on the cake!

glitzylady said...

@laura
Oh, yes!!! Adam's smile.....................................

And the way he carries himself...

And that AURA that just kind of surrounds him............

Phew.....

I can GUARANTEE that anyone who is thinking the facial hair, the shorter haircut, the current slightly lighter hair color, the lack of obvious make-up (other than a bit of foundation and a touch of mascara for performances/media appearances)..that any of those things detracts from his appearance, only just needs to see him live and up close..or even from a bit of a distance, and it becomes very very clear that Adam is one very classically good looking man, who I suspect will just continue to get better with time and experience.. Most pictures don't do him complete justice.. Seriously....

And next year, who knows what "look" he'll come up with.. I suspect we'll see something new and fresh for Era 3/New Music.. He'll no doubt continue to evolve as a performer, artist, musician, fashion icon, and human being... Which is one of the (many) reasons it's so much fun being a fan.. We never know what's happening next for him. He's so full of surprises... And I love it!

Adam is tall, ginger and handsome.

@10:52 PM

The women on "The Talk" and their audience melted too, when they met Adam. For those who did not see the show when Adam was on; it is on You Tube; just loved his appearance on there; have watched it several times. He was so adorable. Everyone was gushing over him!

Anonymous said...

I'm with the find a razor Adam brigade. He is infinitely more handsome without facial hair. I guess he's a follower, not a leader.

Anonymous said...

Adam's current looks, styles, and music will never be to everybody's liking but a true fan should understand that Adam keeps changing. It's healthy and keeps him interesting. Beyond all the superficial things he's just a stunning man with an amazing vocal instrument.

There are a lot of precious people on this blog. Just because someone has a different point of view doesn't make them a troll. Saying nasty things about fellow Glamberts is abhorrent.

Anonymous said...

Adam may have a full beard next year or shave till he's bald. I imagine he would still be the most handsome guy who's ever lived. lol

Anonymous said...

9.36pm. I have been thinking the same thing as you. He has lost his uniqueness. It's so sad. I miss the old adam.

Anonymous said...

It's sad how some people are not allowed to have an opinion without being called a troll. Even Adam has opinions that may not agree with you. Does that make him a troll?

Anonymous said...

Adam is amazing, sexy, beautiful with beard or without beard ,with make- up, without make-up, with blonde, brown or black hair, long hair, short hair he is beautiful always please Don't judge him people he is amazing, kind, and beautiful. I love his body, his hair his voice his music, but the most important is his beautiful soul and heart

I've seen Adam live several times in concert. Only once was I about 10 rows from the stage. The man is breathtakingly gorgeous....seriously.....drop dead gorgeous.....and then when he begins to sing......Thud.

Anonymous said...

@11:56
On the contrary in some ways, Adam's current look and style are more for the 'mainstream' than ever! And I believe it's a conscious decision to grow his fanbase...

He is exceptionally handsome and I'm sure all the more stunning when met live & up close. However I do understand there are true Adam fans who are not into this look, some miss the more boyish clean shaven looks (there are many different variations of that 'theme', too), some miss the edgier trail blazing 'out of this world' looks, some the alien prince he used to look like, some still miss the various looks of Adam performing on Idol and the Adam back stage during Idol... and for some the way Adam grooms up and presents himself in big festivities, RC events etc is the Adam they want to see more often...and many more looks & opinions I have not mentioned here.

And everybody should be able to state their opinion here without getting jumped on, provided their opinions are stated in a civil and constructive manner.

This current look he has, he has had it for a long time (as compared to the Adam before 'the era of this look' started...) Maybe it's just Adam maturing, I don't know and don't want to deep analyze it. Personally I miss the edgier, the more fun, sexy and 'surprising' Adam, also miss seeing his eyes all made up (just because they are so beautiful!) both on & off the stage... I'm NOT complaining or living in the past, not stating how I think Adam should look (haven't said anything about his facial hair or hair dos, lol), just telling how I feel right now. And most probably these feelings come from the notion that Adam is too UNIQUE (whether it his looks or music!) to go 'mainstream'... although I wish him all the success he so deserves.

@11:56
With your last sentence I totally and wholeheartedly agree!!!

Sorry for the long post, got a lot longer than planned...

@12:33am

Of course you agree with yourself, at 9:36pm; I guess it got kind of lonely out there by yourself!

You do realize that unless Adam turns into an ET look alike; someone is going to probably have the same style. Adam will always be changing styles, I would imagine. I just love it; never boring.

He is really just here to entertain us. Anything other than that, is just a beautiful feast to the eyes. Enjoy!!!!

Anonymous said...

11:40 pm

Guess you are a follower too; if you are in a "find a razor Adam brigade". I hope you and your intolerant group stay far away from Adam Lambert and his beautiful face. Sounds like mob mentality to me; perhaps it would be wise if you practice what you preach!!

So glad that Adam is a beautiful individual and can appear any way he wishes; and thank goodness he does. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and that is all; as Adam has said, "entitlement is not sexy"! Adam can't, and won't please everyone; thank goodness! Now let the man entertain you, if that is what you are here for!

Anonymous said...

It is more abhorrent when nasty things are said about Adam Lambert. I think that fans have been very tolerant on this site, unless someone has been disrespectful of Adam. Don't see a problem.

Adam has the greatest fans. The support is just wonderful! Best fan base in world; But, look at the person we are following; could not ask for a better entertainer!

Adam is the total opposite of scruff. He is polished and professional. Adam is a real star!
This is his look at the moment and I love it! When he changes his look, I'm sure I will love that also. Hair on Adam's face cannot change who he is. He is gorgeous no matter what inside and out. I think some Adam "fans" have missed the boat so to speak. Talk about judgmental. Let it be people.
nancdruuu2
p.s. David Cook was great on idol
and I love his look.

Anonymous said...

No matter the style or look that Adam has at any particula point in his life, there will always be those who don't like it, will criticize it, etc. You can't please everyone out there. I may not like the facial hair vs. the clean shaved face, but my opinion and those of other fans is irrelevant in Adam's life. He will do exactly what he wants and look the way that makes him feel good about himself. It will be interesting what his style will be for the Queen concerts. By that time some new style will be popular and change is inevitable. I've always said that his music is the most important thing to me and I am waiting for the third album. That is his career and his future.

Anonymous said...

Adam stands out because he is tall with big hair. Neither his face nor his body is anything special.

Most guys don't change their look at all, for years. They pick a look at stay with it. Adam has had so many looks, it's hard to say he should "go back" to a certain look. Which look? He has had many great looks. There was a time and a place for the emo, heavy make-up, look. There was a time for each look. He changes it up more than most guys do. I try to look forward, not back. He's the best singer on earth, regardless of how he wears his hair or how much make-up he wears.

His real beauty is natural. It's in his eyes, his bone structure, his aura. His beauty goes beyond clothes and hair and make-up.

Not joking. He has nice legs but the rest of him is kept covered up for a reason. Pudgy

And his face can't begin to compare with beautiful models and screen actors. both adam and his brother neil look like a whole lot of Jewish boys.

opinion, he or she is a hateful
racist to say the least. To even bring Adam's brother into the conversation and even speak about them being Jewish, and talking about Jewish people in a negative way; is just really ignorant and uncalled for. Calling them boys and not even capitalizing their names.

I mentioned the least of what I really feel about this poster's hateful little barrage. I will not give this disrespectful individual the respect of addressing their sick three posts directly. Just had to post something, this was just too outrageous; in my opinion!!!

He keeps his body covered except for very rare occasions, and even then he is in shorts and tank top, because he is a red head. They have the problem of skin break outs, he mentioned break outs himself. My hubby had the same type of thing. He also is quite thin, not pudgy like you said. He is not muscular or buff, as he has said himself again. Unless he uses a spray tan, his skin is also quite light and freckly. He is sensitive about being seen unclothed, not quite the image he likes to portray. He has enough slander said against him for being gay, he does not need to add to this.

Anonymous said...

9 36
Oh nice fantasy but when he was younger there are plenty of pics of him without a top but he wisely covers up now because he doesnt want the pics of his chubby tummy and moobs to circulate. And lmao that it has anything to do with being gay.

Anonymous said...

Lmao a very simple statement that adam looks jewish, when he is jewish, is being interpreted as trolling.

When the journalist michelle Collins met adam the first thing she asked him was if he was jewish even tho he doesn't have a jewish name. Anyone who thinks that is offensive needs to look at themselves because they are the ones who perceive it as negative, not me.

Half the kids in my high school, and all of my closest friends were jewish. If adam was 5 9 he would have fit in perfectly. The thing that makes him stand out is his height.

Anonymous said...

Never said it had anything to do with being gay. He gets called names for being gay, he does not need to give any ammunition for not having a buff body. He wears clothes to cover up his body. Thank goodness he is NOT like Freddie Mercury in this area. You don't know what it is like to have skin breakouts on your back.

WHY DO YOU GOOD FOLKS AND FELLOW FANS ENGAGE THIS PERSON?? Why Why Why. I beg of you, exercise your own good sense and strength and just IGNORE!! OMG, don't you see the power WE ALL HOLD ourselves right in the palms of our hands (or our fingers) by not typing and posting a RESPONSE?!!!

I am a long time participant here, and if I leave, it will be because I give up on hoping that good, smart people will realize that they need to just IGNORE and not engage foolishness. A troll, or more importantly, and intentional pot-stirrer, will never ever make me leave, they don't hold that much power over me, never will ... but the silly long threads that evolve because smart, sane fellow fans can't seem to understand how engaging these few (or even just the one) will lead me to determine that nothing interesting or fun can be gained by stopping by this site anymore. Just my POV. My decisions are my own to make, but I truly hope that some of us participating here can exercise our own power and free will and not engage the foolish in their foolishness. Peace Out.

Adam is not in any way pudgy, I am pudgy, so I know what I am talking about. He may have some loose skin around his waist, from being over weight when he was in his teens, but now he is quite thin, some people say too thin.

Anonymous said...

Adam has been quite thin for a long time now. He does not have a muscular body, despite his working out. Some guys just don't put on muscle despite working out. Adam looks just fine. He looks trim and healthy. He doesn't have to show a lot of skin to look good. He's a tall, lean, sexy man. BTW, in my observation, 5'10" is an average height for a man, not short. Anything six feet and over is on the tall side. Adam is pretty tall at 6'1". He is usually one of the taller guys in most photos and when he is in an interview or onstage.

It's sad when the "handsome pic of the day" of one of the best-looking men on earth gets raked over the coals like this thread did. Positive energy is much better.

Anonymous said...

10:15, I totally support ignoring the troll and troublemakers. Good luck getting that to happen here.

Well, I see the point. Adam is as typically jewish as these fellow Jews. Harrison Ford, Michael Douglas, Zac Effon, Paul Newman, Richard Gere, Lenny Kravitz, Paul Rudd, Jake Gyllenhaal and Robert Redford.

Definitely all typical Jews.

Adam is tall, fair-skinned with naturally ginger hair so he doesn't fit into the Middle Eastern category but it wouldn't matter if he did. Race, skin color, religion and gender are irrelevant. Adam and his brother Neil are Jewish and alike and take after their gorgeous Jewish mother.

glitzylady said...

Even tho this thread is pretty much dead, I just wanted to comment about the "Adam looks Jewish" theme.

Judaism is a religion, not necessarily a "look". Or a nationality. True, Judaism began in the Middle East, but has become a worldwide religion, and you'll find Jews everywhere. In a wide variety of shapes, sizes, coloring, countries of birth, etc.: blondes, blue eyed, fair, dark-haired, brown eyed,.... freckled...gorgeous...Ooops! I digress...

Eber Lambert listed Adam's hereditary ethnicities/countries/regions of origin of Adam's ancestors on both sides of the family, ie both Eber and Leila's, in reply to a question on twitter...

heyTrish924 @heyTrish924
@milestougeaux What is Adam's ancestry, if I may ask?

Miles Tougeaux @milestougeaux
@OoberBert Maternal: Jewish, 4th gen Romanian/Russian; Paternal: 6th gen American mutt (Norwegian,Irish,English,French)
5:43 PM - 23 Aug 2013

So....here's the thing....

With his natural coloring ie ginger hair, blue-grey eyes, light freckled skin, he looks a whole lot more Irish/Norwegian to me :)

Case in point: I have a very good friend who is 100% Russian Jew descent. I'm a Scots/Irish/English/German/French non-Jew. We're sometimes mistaken for sisters because we both have medium brown hair cut in a similar style. Other than that we pretty much look nothing alike. She has blue eyes, I have brown eyes.. and freckles..

So I suppose I look "Jewish" since I'm mistaken as being my Jewish friend's sister.. (Something which we love and think is hilarious at the same time btw..)..

Just sort of an interesting conversation....

:))))

Oh, and then there's my beautiful son, who is adopted, and is of Swedish/Norwegian ancestry..

Everyone says he looks just like me..

And since I look Jewish (see my comment above), because I have my Jewish friend's hairstyle..and it's sort of the same color...and since my son "looks just like me" :)) he must look Jewish too..

Sorry, just had to go there... I know it's silly, but you can perhaps see what I'm getting at..

@glitzylady....JAK here...I agree the thread is probably
dead...but in case you stop in for a peek....we are of similar heritage...Irish,Scot,English,Austrian,Slovak and a smidge of French from Napoleon's France.

Yet back in my modeling days, I was in the 'book' as an 'exotic'.....they thought I looked Eurasian! So I got the big furry hat and coat fashions (Russian)....and all the silk kimono lingerie and the beautiful cheongsam dresses!
That I liked because it was my favorite style and I had many dresses my mom made in linen, silks or brocades!

II always assumed one of my ancestors in Slovakia may have fallen for a guy in the army of Attila the Hun or Genghis Khan!

@JAK
You just never know where some of our roving ancestors may have been..back in the day!!!

My blond, blue eyed husband, of Norwegian/Irish/English heritage (at least that's what he is aware of..) recently did the Ancestry.com DNA test. His results were generally predictable.. but a few of the percentages were interesting.. He also has some more typical Western Europe genes, which could be German, French...and some Northeastern Europe, which could include Finland and Russia.. and 1% Asian..which was rather interesting.. So who knows! It was very specific re his Irish and Scandinavian ancestry.. the rest a bit less specific. He has some family "stories" that say he has some Jewish heritage/ancestry as well, in addition to the Lutheran and Catholic, although that's not been tracked down yet.. Nothing like being an American "mutt" as Eber referred to many of us.. :))

So maybe you could do the DNA test.. You never know what might show up!

I'm planning to do it too, just for fun.. I have a couple of questions re my ancestry.. (I suspect a little bit of Native American in there somewhere..). And am hoping this test will answer them for me.. If not, still fun!

The story continues :))

@ glitzylady.....I might do that. I have no info on the Austrian, Slovak side past fraternal grandparents....but the Irish-Scot (maternal) side is traced back to mid 17th century and the English- French back to 13th century!
That one is a doozy! When I was in Salisbury in 1980 I went to Wilton House to see the 'family estate'. The 18th Earl of Pembroke lives there.....the family home since the first Earl was awarded the former abbey in the 15 hundreds by Henry the VIII. The Earl married my ancestress Anne Parr, sister to Henry's Queen Catherine Parr. I love genealogy.
I can't understand why everyone doesn't delve deep. I found heroes and villains.

BTW....you've seen Wilton House in lots of movies. Both exteriors and interiors were in Pride and Prejudice, Young Queen Victoria, and many others. It's been a stand in for many royal castles and palaces.
Cool!

Hi JAK! (sorry the rest of you..just scroll on by :)
Interesting that you should mention Salisbury, etc.. One branch of my English family roots have been traced back to around 1540, to Winchester/Wiltshire, near Stonehenge on the Salisbury Plain. I made a point of visiting the area on a trip to London a few years ago. Thinking perhaps some of my distant relatives might have been some of the pagans who went to Stonehenge to celebrate the summer solstice, among other things... (That idea appeals to me..a bit like being at Burning Man!!). That particular branch of the family is named Fowler.. and I suspect they were perhaps just that.. Perhaps took care of the chickens and ducks at your family's estate :) .. or we could be veryyyyyyy distant cousins... who knows!!! Such a small world :)) The ancestor who came to America arrived shortly after the Pilgrims landed circa 1620 something, originally settled in Massachusetts, and eventually some of the descendants moved slowly west, ending up in WA state via other states along the way..

I also have a relative who was said to have been in Napoleon's court as an artist.. And probably why that branch of the family ended up here....once Napoleon was no longer in favor :))

Family history is truly fascinating... At least for ourselves.. Nice to know our roots...

@glitzylady....I think we're alone! I love Salisbury! first trip in 1980, went to Stonehenge early in the morning, this was before any restrictions, got to wander thru the whole complex, it was smaller than I had imagined. It was windy and chilly and kind of gray.....gave a creepy enchanted atmosphere.....on to Salisbury to the town then cathedral.
They were getting ready for a wedding later in the day but while tour was getting the lowdown on what they would see I sneaked in and just sat. It was so quiet and peaceful, people coming and going were sweet and smiled at me. Then the sun came out and streamed thru the windows, everything lit up and was bathed in a golden glow! I was sold! I saw a lot of the more famous cathedrals over the next few years in about a dozen countries but never had an experience like I did at Salisbury. That sunshine was like being touched by heaven!
