And, to be honest, I think the gay community is more likely to be inclined to vote Lady GaGa in for the award -- although I would hope my gay brothers and sisters would give this one a little more careful thought, forgive & forget (AMAs, if they felt that performance was detrimental to the community) and consider what Adam has accomplished this past year for countless number of closeted teenaged boys & girls who simply want to be THEMSELVES.

I think Adam has done more for the "gay community" in a much shorter period of time than anything else I could think of. He is who he is and has nothing to apologize for. He is honest, articulate, mega talented and always positive lets the negativity roll off of him like water on a duck. He has inspired so many people I hope he wins but if not that's ok too because in my heart he will always be a winner.

To all you gays out there, I hope you will wise up and see how Adam has gotten people to look beyond their former views on gays. I'm a 54 year old woman that was not quite sure how I felt about gays but because of Adam and all the controversy around the AMAs, I am now more of a gay activist. My 82 yr old mother who did not like gays has opened her mind and I know so many people who have had their "reality" and awareness altered. Are you yourselves uncomfortable about seeing your own sexuality shown on TV? Something to ponder. Anyway, I believe Adam is opening doors for you and I hope you will support this beautiful gay man and vote for him.

totally unrelated but can everyone help confirm if adam is really going to the philippines (along with kris) this february. kris is confirmed but there is new rumor that adam is coming as well. i highly doubt that that's true but if anyone can say for certain that would be great! thanks.
