"For Your Entertainment" Album Sales Update

According to WorldWideAlbums, the website to track worldwide sales of albums, Adam has sold a total of 499,500 copies worldwide! Just 500 more copies for him to reach Gold! He has sold around 445,000 in the United States so far. That leaves us with around 54,500 copies sold in other countries! He's sold that much without promotion! The official promotion starts worldwide at the end of the month starting with Brazil so we'll start to see an increase in sales very soon!

This is inaccurate.
He's 55000 copies away from Gold. Then he will achieve Gold in the US.
You can't sum up world-wide totals like that for gold, platinum, diamond status. They're different for each country.
