I admit to not having listened to the whole interview yet, (not even the half of the first video)but does that interviewer seem very impatient like he's rush every 1/2 sentence Adam says? I can hardly stand to listen to the interviewer's voice.

what's wrong with the interviewer's voice? very impatient? rush? doestn' sound that way. remember the host has to translate guickly to the listeners, he did good....

It is amazing how fast this guy can switch languages! If Tom Brokaw could speak Japanese, this is what he would sound like. This was a very good in-depth interview.

Nice interview....Adam sounded comfortable, but it had to be really weird to sit there and listen to him speak in Japanese, hoping he was translating what he had actually said. Can't imagine being able to speak two languages so fluently.....nice to hear Adam's voice.

I thought that Japanese interviewer was great ... not like some of the others who didn't even let ADAM finish speaking before they started interpreting. This man listened intently first & then translated ... brilliant interviewer .. good job .. hope ADAM got in the shopping he said he wanted to before he had to leave for UK.

I know what you mean about the mannerisms of this dj, but I think that's how the Japanese talk. Very quickly. To "American ears" I think they sound abrupt and choppy - but it's just their cadence, etc.

There's that grey-green eyed Adam again.

This interviewer did ask some very interesting questions, some never asked before. Did get quite tired of "hm, ya, yes, hmm, ok, right, hmm, sure, hmm, ya" constantly throughout the entire time. Maybe just a Japanese thing, but to me quite off putting. just saying....

I thought the interviewer was excellent. He may have been processing Adam's answers as he was speaking so as to translate correctly. Very nice voice and quick thinking person.

agree with 9:23 above

very intelligent interviewer! i am awed by his memory and translation skills. he could probably be a diplomat!

he's not being pushy at all. japanese is an intense energetic language spoken quickly and emphatically. i have a very laid back friend who easily goes between english and japanese. his voice speeds up and becomes blunt when speaking japanese. i liked it since adam is equally intense!!

ps the shopping there is supposed to be mind boggling!! hope adam had a blast in harajuku, the hip shopping place to be. his sea urchin outfit creation is fabulous!!
