Does anything know if he's saying this for attention or publicity? Because I think I would be very happy if Adam is open to dating girls. Somehow, it makes me feel...better? Not that I am against gay people or 100% gay people. I always think that people are born bisexual. Sorry if I sounded rude but I just feel that it'll be more interesting if Adam likes girls too so he has more choice in the future.

Where does he say ANYTHING about being with women? NOWHERE......give him some slack......if he wants to try women, he will. but he certainly won't announce it.....that is his PERSONAL life. As a straight female fan, I think most of Adam's female fans don't think of getting it on with him. Like you "I just think he is an AMAZING SINGER AND PERFORMER!" And I would add a very interesting person and fun eye candy. That does not add up to making his babies.

He can say and insinuate anything he wants, that's what makes him our Adam. I believe he is 100% gay.

Josh, just one question - HOW CAN YOU NOT BE ATTRACTED TO ADAM? He is the most gorgeous man I have ever seen and that is inside and out. He is beautiful. I don't care in the least that he is gay - I also know that even if Adam does have sex with a woman (AND IT IS HIS BUSINESS, NO-ONE ELSES) that won't make him bi or straight. I know he is gay, but we can fantasise can't we. I'm so totally fine with his liking women, being bi and such, but for some reason if he wants to confirm it I want to hear it as unsensationalized as possible from the media, his Twitter maybe? Idk, I just want to make certain it's not popularized media exaggerating the message, ya know?
And I love him regardless, but I feel his homosexuality gives him a huge part of HIM. I mean, onstage, in interviews, personality, he has this kinda swagger and sexiness he wouldn't have if he weren't gay. I agree with you Emmaline. His sexuality sets him apart from every other male singer. If he were straight, he'd just be lumped in with everybody else. Being gay drives women even more crazy because he's unattainable.

I also agree with Emma. I think his sexuality is somethng that attracts women to him. If he were straight, i doubt the same women would be as obsessed. If Adam was straight, I think his fanbase would be different. He would be attracting those "Justin Biever" fans.

Adam's definitely not promiscuous. Remember he said he lost his virginity at 24? That's very old to lose a virginity. So at least we know Adam is a very clean person who doesn't just sleep with anyone.

Josh, I think you are stereotyping female fans - maybe you are referring to teeny boppers. I am much older than Adam and I definitely do not have a chance or even dream of having a chance with Adam. I love him because he is such a rare talent and has an amazing voice that is so hard to come by these days. I enjoy hearing him talk and I don't know if this special feeling that he gives to all his fans comes from his being gay. But I do know that I have never felt that way about Adam with other straight male artistes. So there! Rock on Adam - we know you will become a mega star and we all love you so much!!

Because he is just not my "type". If I were to name a celebrity that is my "type" it would probably be Matt Damon.

I'm just not into Adam that way even though I do idolize him.

That being said I follow his career very closely and I will see him on tour this year and scream just as loudly as the people around me do! And I would LOVE to meet him someday!

There IS some female fans who act that way though and I have seen it numerous times on numerous websites over the last year or so.

First of all, I am a 31 yr. old gay woman, but I have been with men in the past (well, in the FAR past, like, high school, but still) & would consider a relationship again with a man if the right one came along. Now obviously this info has nothing to do with Adam personally cuz I don't pretend to know his innermost thoughts, etc. BUT the point is that a lot of people have a sexuality that is a little more fluid than gay or straight even though they wouldn't identify as bi. In high school I dated a gay boy (& yes he was already way out of the closet), & I have know more than a few gay men who have slept with women & lesbians who will sleep with the occasional man. Now, I have no doubt that Adam is gay. But being gay is also more than just who you are sleeping with at the time. It's about culture, history, politics, identity...ok, so if Adam did sleep with a woman, he's still GAY. It's not like anyone thinks he will ever identify as straight. Adam has mentioned going further with girls than just kissing many times. I guess to those who are very cynical it just sounds like a meaningless tease. But to me it sounds genuine. Adam is a very sexual person. I have no doubt that he's curious & will give women a try sometime. But he will always be gay. That's his identity. Give him some breathing room. It's not the end of his gay identity if he messes with a girl. It happens all the time with gay & straight people...sometimes you just want to try something different. People are complicated. It's no big deal.

What attracts me most to Adam is a fighting courage that slays me, "killing me softly with his love" because he is so tender in his manner, yet so strong that no amount of hate touches him. He seems so invincible, and yet vulnerable, inspiring both admiration and compassion. I've always thought that people who have gone through the painful experiences from discrimination of any type have the greatest capacity for kindness, a quality Adam graces all, even his detractors. Few people, under the kind of scrutiny and discrimination Adam has undergone, are able to handle themselves so nobly, that he puts his haters to shame. They make me love Adam even more, as fortunately, they cannot touch him. He is above them, and to us mere mortals, we are special. At least, that's how he makes us feel when he gives us his all, his best as a giving, uncompromising consummate artist. Love that man.

Amy I am 29 and my best friend of over 10 years is a lesbian.

In response to 5:41AM poster - where has he stated he's actually bi? He has claimed he will never put himself in the label of bisexual. We can't tell in today's society what is sensationalized, teasing, or complate truth. In this case, it seems to be a bit of all three.

I watched FOUR different videos of this same interview. NOT ONCE in ALL FOUR videos did he mention the words MINGLING or AND LADIES YOU HAVE A CHANCE! THAT came from the interviewers mind ... NOT ADAM's LIPS ... NEVER SAID IT! Also everything in this video was EXACTLY the same in ALL the videos .... the SENSATIONAL MISquotes came from the interviewer just like the SuBo interview. The interviewer "AD LIBBED" what ADAM did not say.

...there was an article in Scientific American last summer about sexual preference based on studies and apparently humans are on a continuum of preference with 0 to 5 to 0 with both 0's being 100% hetero or homosexual...and they are only 10% of the population all the rest are somewhere in between with 5 being totally bisexual....so all this talk of Adam being this or that is just silly...he is where he is as we all are on that scale...it isn't black or white!!! also agree with 7:37 Emmaline PS..I wish all the gay talk around Adam would just go away...even he says he would like to be introduced as a singer not "openly gay"..yada yada yada...

I love Adam as much as anyone could. I love him just the way he is, which is gay. His sexuality is just a part of the package that is Adam. Although he is the sexiest man I ever saw, I have no desire to jump his bones. Now, if I were a 20 something, pretty gay male, that would be a different story. And Anon 27/3 10:10 - you have articulated exactly how I felt about Adam besides being bowled over by his fantastic vocals! I do wonder at times how he could have withstood all the criticisms and hate and remained strong as ever, kind and sweet. These are qualities which he is able to share and his fans are encouraged by him. Adam is my drug though I am still in control of myself!!
