Simon Cowell says that Adam should have won American Idol. If you just want to listen to the Adam part, skip to the final minute! He says that Adam should have won as an overall artist.

Simon's never made a secret of that. He was on Ryan's show the very next day after the finale and was saying that the wrong person won.

Nice to have it said and heard on a big venue as Jay Leno. Kudos Simon and Adam!

Simon is for real. He never tried to hide he was disappointed with the outcome. I could tell even from the audition ADAM captured him. It's in his eyes and how he looked and assessing ADAM quite deeply. His saying ADAM is theatrical from the get go is just his way of guiding ADAM. It's his way of helping ADAM. In the end, Simon is right. AI has found their worldwide SUPERSTAR. ADAM is on his way. And Simon knows it.

I like Simon's kahunas! He is probably upset he didn't get to sign our phenom. But just remember, Adam got to break free from "the machine" a LOT sooner since he "lost" (lol) and now he's laughing all the way to the bank!

@justpeachy

Adam signed the same contract he would have signed had he won. AI winners and those who the sponsoring record company and management sign don't sign with Simon C, they sign with Simon F.

Simon got it wrong though. If it had been a popularity competition, Adam would have won as everything before and since indicated.

If Kris was more popular, what happened to that between the end of the show and the tour and before the releases of their albums?

It doesn't take the intellect of Steven Hawkings to work it out .............. and before anyone says homophobia, not it wasn't that either.
