I feel for Adam. It is never easy to be a groundbreaker. He somehow manages to maintain his cool and good humor about 99% of the time, even through impossible odds, with all kinds of haters and underminers leveling various rudenesses at him. It's got to be crazy. Sometimes, even he is going to react. And even when he does, it's minor. I couldn't carry on with his level of equanimity, and I don't know many people who could.

Keep on keepin' on, Adam. For every sour and small-minded soul out there who can't deal with any level of creativity and fabulosity, know that there are an army of QUIETER souls out here who see what you're doing, appreciate your work ethic, perfectionism and sunny disposition to the nth degree and support you. We're just not always making as much noise as the idiots. But we're here.

I never thought for one moment that you would copy anybody, why on earth would you need to, you have your own flair for fashion.
I can't believe that some fans would actually tweet that to Adam, how rude and insensitive. From the moment that Adam appeared on Idol, he has always been unique in the way he dresses and wears his makeup. It is obvious that the cover for IIHY was inspired by Elvis.
Adam is so right in saying what this world needs is LOVE, and plenty more of it, if you ask me.

Freedom of speech is beautiful thing,but sometimes people trip all over their speech and say pretty weird and insensitive things. It's great to be an Adam fan (young at heart or just young) . Being included in his musings on twitter gives a glimpse at new music or what to support in his career(happy to do that)(love you Adam)or where he is in the world. The concerts are going to kick A--! I think the only mean person in Season 8 was Danny Gokey. Everyone else is "okay". Michael was a homophobe in the beginning but now he seems to have changed. Gokey is the one that has been bashing Adam all the time. He said he would have won American Idol if it was between him and Adam.

To those of you hating on Kris,

did you completely miss the point of Adams tweets? He is friends with Kris. He would not want us to hate him! Did you see that Adam put the word fans in quotation marks. The insinuation there is that he does not consider hateful people to be real fans. If you love Adam, it doesn't make sense to show Kris so much hate. I'm not saying listen to kris's music. I don't. I'm just saying show Kris some respect for Adam's sake.

Folks, think about it this way. If you met Adam and said something nasty about kris, would this make him like you? No because you just said something nasty about one of his friends. So true. I agree with everything Anon 4:41 said plus I followed Adam's advice from a few months back and decided to try to hear a bit of Kris. Since I hear everything from classical to metal, I have to say I actually kind of like some of his songs like his newest single(it's funny but I think he seems honest about his feelings in that song and on some others). No, I'm not going to buy his single or album 'cause I'm short on cash and I have other artists I want to support first such as Allison Iraheta(I like her album-kind of Pink and at the same time so different, really like her voice and she seems nice besides her hair is great), Muse, Metallica and the list goes on.... By the way, last weekend I bought FYE album international and I loved it, I'm playing it all day even when I'm not home so my neighbours can hear Adam's mad vocals.
I saw a few of Kris interviews and I actually thought he was a nice down-to-earth guy so I think that if all of you, who can't stop bashing Kris, take Adam out of the picture for a second and just observe the guy you'll see he's kinda normal. No one can be like Adam + be nice most of the time. I mean the guy went to Thailand to promote His album and His fans and some of the media kept asking if he was going to do a duet with Adam and a lot of stuff about Adam and I think it was very rude. They forgot why he was there, it's not nice to be ignored even when you know your place(he Knows Adam is a better singer,if he didn't it's all over the world so he'd have to be deaf and blind not to see it but he doesn't talk about it, it's his right). People let's be honest in here, like so many have said but some of you aren't catching on, Adam DOESN'T NEED PROMOTION from Kris Allen 'cause for all the slight censoring from the radio he still does a lot better than any of his fellow Idol alumns from AI8.
Bottom line is You don't have to like Kris, you just have to stop bashing him(if it's that important, hate Kris inside yourself just don't voice it) but of course you have the right to express yourselves so feel free to spread negativity but don't expect any kind of love or appreciation from Adam because it won't happen, he has made that clear enough.

I have no idea why he doesn't attack Kris or Allison, I guess he didn't consider them competition(?who cares?). Either way, don't really care what his motives are for being so impolite or if he thinks the world is flat or that gay are the spawn of the devil(if they're all as hot as Adam is then it's kinda cool to be a spawn.lool). Thank God for some miracles also since we're on miracles page, I've found a radio that is playing Adam a lot and has him on #7 on their top listeners choice(I was so happy my 1st thought was Hallelujah Finally!) and Miley Cyrus new song hasn't reached my ears-yet-through my next door neighbour or the radio so all is good in life.

To 6:56: Absolutely right, everything in perspective. I'm one of those middle aged ladies and I don't take offense. Some of us probably do look a little silly when we dance to a 24yr old, but pretty sure he was mostly being funny. There ARE indeed many other things to be outraged about and that isn't one of them. And good for Adam for trying to remind some of his "fans" to back off a bit. He truly would prefer us to reflect the positive outlook that he constantly radiates and is most likely hurt and frustrated when others attack his friends, including Kris. As far as I can tell, Kris is a nice guy and and a good friend to Adam. I don't think Adam would say anything unless it was really out of hand with the Kris bashing. Adam is a lovely person inside and out and that's all that matters to me.

I have a question...if they hate Adam, then why are they watching news about him. I don't watch or keep up with anyone I don't care about...why should we? Leave them to making or breaking their own talents. Adam has it going and appears he wants everyone to let it all go and just enjoy what they all have to put out there. He is a smart cookie and headed in the right direction for his carreer. Kris is doing what he has always dreamed of and etc. If we would all enjoy instead of complain or make fun it would be a better world. I think they all have guts to stand up and do what might not please others, but pleases themselves...I try hard to do that in my own life.
