That is an amazing list! Adam's doing so well. Maybe that's one of the reason why Simon considers Adam the winner of this season.

Simon is definitely bored with this season. This is so funny. I haven't watched this season since Adam performed.

The facebook campaign is a great idea. I'll join and make my friends join. But not sure if we have enough time to have over 100,000 + fans because the finale is very soon right? (I haven't been following AI)

Adam is the winner in my world any time, Idol crown or no! As they announced at the beginning of Season 9, a star was born on Season 8 and that was the fabulous Adam.

OMG! Simon slipped up but he was so funny and I genuinely think he was just voicing what goes on everybody's mind (can we have a rerun of last season, please? Instead of this boring flock of contestants?. The truth is, Simon is leaving AI and I'll be following his next show because the guy is just hilarious, he keeps me entertained and makes me laugh a lot. Besides now that Adam's season is past I doubt Idol producers can top that, ever again..this is season is the living proof, they have great voices but no star power or charisma or whatever...Maybe the girl in Top4, I don't know but I think they need Adam Lambert back on the show..preferably on the finale, I read from a comment above that Kris Allen is being invited for the finale. Is anyone really that surprised, they already asked Adam to be a mentor which is unique for any contestant, Kris is the winner whose record is doing far worse than runner-up so they should give them a hand too, it's only fair...I think.
Thus I propose we do a petition on Twitter to have Adam on the show as well, otherwise I'll fall asleep as soon as x-tina's act is over.

People just relax! Adam is going to be at the American Idol finale 1000000%. Reason:
1. They need rating
2. they want to put a show instead of a mediocre snoozefest
3. Adam is free on the 26th...I just checked his upcoming shows and he is free (05/23 thru 06/04) so he definitely will be there
4. Adam's management is Simon Fuller, he would want to give Adam the exposure for his new single IIHY, considering the push he got for WWFM on his last appearance
6. Even Danny Gokey has a gig for the finale (he is going to be the host of AI at some bar in Party Allentown, PA ....LMFAO)
7. The producers should be dumbasses not to bring Adam back
...so people I think these are enough reasons to relax and just sit tight until His-sexiness graces the Nokia stage on the 26th....Sigh*

I think maybe Simon was referring to Adam's mentoring and particularly his spectacular performance. No other guest performer has come near matching Adam's performance. His performance reminded everyone what was missing from this season and what the quality of a truly creative artist is. Knowing Simon it was also his way of saying "I told you so". - Maybe he was channeling Paula - I really doubt it.

I think the top 2 contestants, are supposed to sing with the guests, like they did last year with Adam and Kriss. But I would rather Adam sang by himself promoting his new single. I love Adam, but I do not think he is as great as Kiss or the other one used last year (YET). Heck he has only been promoting his album for 6 months and in UK 2 weeks. But if he came he would certainly boost the ratings

Oh guys, I am an uber Lambert fan... but I just have this gut feeling that he won't be on AI9 finale... won't bother you with all the reasons why here - but I'm not feeling it... but I certainly hope I'm wrong. The commenter/poster who mentioned a hole in Lambert's schedule around finale time gave me a little hope :).

Be pretty bad if they didn't ask ADAM back for the FINALE ... it would be the SECOND MISTAKE of AI heard 'ROUND THE WORLD. Something else for all the other countries to LAUGH at the US for! NO ADAM = ANOTHER BAD DECISION!!
