Actually people don't really care if the artists do a lot of tweets or not.. They just follow the artists that release the music they like.. I think the million mark will be conquered before this year ends because If I Had You has the potential to go big!!

there are still many people who are not on twitter but they adore adam lambert. twitter or facebook are not the basis for popularity.

Honestly, Who would want to follow Brittany Spears anywhere? I don't believe it.

I am not on Twitter, I could be..but way too busy so, there are plenty of people who love Adam and yet they do not have time to deal with the tweet-thing.

I'd be more worried about who it IS that thinks Brittany Spears is interesting! That is too funny.

Many od=f Adam's OLDER fans are NOT on twitter. If they did it would reach a million. Gaga's and the others have more of a younger fans who spend all day on their phones and on twitter. This is NOT an indiaction of how many fans you have.
Keep voting VH1 top 20. It's VERY VERY crucial for IIHY to hit Number 1 this week. It will show everybody that it's a great song and needs to be on the radio.
I have been voting on my Iphone and it shows me the results. Adam is num 1 with 34% but NOt to far from Number 2. PLEASE vote, this is VERY IMPORTANT. This is Adam's mounth on VH1.He gets a lot of visibility with POSTED. He has a great chance.

I joined Twitter to follow Adam and thought I could twitter him, but didn't know he would have to follow me to read my comments. Of course he doesn't know me or the 500,000 others, so, not much point to join. I have a friend who is in ent. mgmnt and he's worried that Adam will change too much too soon. While it's true that his hair, or piercings wont change his voice or his personality, his image CAN effect his fan-base (Michael Jackson, anyone?). Not that I object (it's not my place to whine about the hair, but I would LOVE to see the nipple rings!! Be true to yourself, but be careful and smart also, Sweetie.

I think Adam needs to consider his many options , like movies, tv,etc. and if he gets too carried away with the image, he may limit acting opportunities and be labeled. He can be like a chameleon and totally change his look to suit any venue, but in this business you have to be careful not to limit yourself and it is a business, bottom line. I don't think he wants to be known only as a gay entertainer.He has too much talent to just be viewed in that way. I agree with the above remarks and am afraid he will undo some of the progress he's made since the AMA's.His talent is undeniable, but he needs to be careful not to become a caracature of himself. I think he's the best entertainer I have ever seen, just don't want him to give the media another excuse to make fun of him. Elton John is a musical genius, but the chicken suit and other get-ups hurt his credibility at the time and he became a joke until he realized he could rely on his talent and didn't need a gimmick. Adam is creative and exciting, but there is a fine line to where it can get cheesy. Hope he won't go over it for all of our sakes and he'll be respected as a seriously talented performer for all time.

Gosh, 4:46 am, a bit harsh maybe????!!! Not sure we Americans (on this site anyway) are being "negative", so much as that we know what our media sometimes picks out to say about Adam and his "new hair" or whatever else they can find to make a big deal about, and sometimes they aren't very nice. I like his hair and EVERYTHING else about him (I WAS born in the last century, by the way, and so were most of the rest of us, think about it, geez!, so what are you saying?????? although I'm pretty sure what you meant!) but also understand that we are a LITTLE protective of him sometimes, just get tired of the crap so can't help but worry just a little any time it looks like they are going after him again for some dumb, insignificant thing. Please try not to lump us all into one little category (narrow minded old fuddy-duddy Americans). Just realize that the picture that is being shown on many media websites here in the US is the one where all you can see is the shaved part ( with the caption "Adam Lambert shaves head") so it probably did give some a bit of a shock, momentarily. He would look beautiful to his fans (including me and you) no matter what, but we still get a little nervous, at least I do, just knowing it could be "Here we go again....." . I really do get what you are saying tho, and I as well "love Adam for Adam and his beautiful voice" so I understand your passion! Here I am, on this site, going on and on about some celebrity I've never met (yet....)-craziness! That's amazing to me in itself! Glad he has so many great fans all over the world!

Thankyou, glitzy lady for helping to put my comment in perspective{anon 1:42} I care about Adam, no matter what and I do feel protective as a mother protecting her cub.I'm well aware of some media bias and I don't want him to be unfairly criticized.Realistically, he's a grown man totally in control of his own destiny and personal decisions and I'm not his mother. He has the best in the world. I and others that just have an opinion that may differ,doesn't mean that we are being critical or disloyal, we just want Adam to have all the support that he so very much deserves. This also is not a tug of war where he should live. The US is filled with millions that love and support him, as his sold out concerts validate. We intend to keep him in the US as long as he wants us and are happy to share him with the UK and all his worldwide fans.

Don't understand this whole Tweet/twitter concept, other than it is the most now social networking system today. Do tweeters wait for their favorite celebrity to tweet something to the world in general and it pops up on their phone--this concept makes sense. (guess I could call my own phone co for info.) Suppose Adam or Gaga have interesting things to say, or not. Brit must be busy w/2 kids and career, and supporting current BF? But like supporting AL anyway I can. I'm buying IIHY Remix--my way.
