Ok fun is fun - I just hope Adam is totally doing this with respect for Tommy as a musician first and formost. Tommy has a reputation as a great guitarist - It's harmless fun at this point but if overdone? I don't know? Adam is clearly haveing fun and making a point at the same time - I just would never want a serious musician to become a joke for the sake of fun??

Like everything Adam does, he will continue to surprise us. BTW watching and listening to "Soaked" always moves me. I hope it becomes a major hit by the end of the year. We need a powerful ballad like that. There hasn't been one on the top hits list in a long time.

No worry needed. Everything sweet Adam does is plenty of RESPECT. The only «professionals becoming a joke» I see around are some people who call themselves «reviewers»...

Don't worry about Tommy - he is a very willing participant. They know its hot, and it fits with the lyrics. We all benefit because these two guys are crazy hot and are all about rock and roll and entertaining. Adam picked the best band, and the best dancers. They all are the nicest people and are talented at what they do. Love them all.

Yes Cherlyn, Tommy hardly looks like he is unwillingly to play along :)! Of course we can only go by what we observe in the various media that we have access to - but there sure are A LOT of clips to go by, lol, and Tommy hardly appears uncomfortable!! ;). (I guess I'm sort of being careful with my language, and my commenting, because of what recently went on in the old thread "New VH1 Videos! Adam Answers Fan Questions"...some concern posted there with the sometimes raunchy exchanges here, and a fear that the talent of these individuals is falling secondary to their wonderful musical gifts and artistry.) I personally see a lot of love on this site for the ARTISTRY, but Lambert also willingly puts out a certain sensual vibe too, that I really don't get the feeling he has a problem with having fans discuss (for goodness sake - he asked about the audience being "soaked" the other night - HE put that out there...he's playful himself and apparently of the opinion that "it aint that deep" and apparently a believer of parents policing their children's access to pop culture and the like, ME TOO, and quite frankly, a savvy business man who knows what will keep fans of both genders coming back for more, which includes showmanship & persona ALONGSIDE vocal talent). Well, whatever, I'm a little gun shy in the sassiness of my commenting today I guess :)... and actually, I would indeed hate to see Tommy become the butt of jokes, but having said all that, this TALC video is a lovely and tasteful thing to me.

If it doesn't bother the two participants it should not bother others because the others can choose to attend or not to attend the concerts if it bothers them. Forgive me for sounding inane the video did that to me!

MGM - right on, well said...you took the words right out of my mouth, and I agree with everything you said.

Adam has stated, to the world, that he is a "very sexual" person. He's comfortable with putting it out there and weaves it into his performances. He does like to "shock" people. My hunch is he would probably push things a lot farther, if he hadn't had his hand slapped for the AMAs.

Watch the footage from his shows - he's totally working the "sexy" angle. He's coy and flirty. I would be shocked if he found the steamy effect he's having on his fans, and the discussions they're having about it, offensive or demeaning. He does it on purpose! Bad boy.

We all know he has a powerful voice like no other, and he is a talent the likes that the world has not seen for a few decades. We discuss that at great length, too. But he's wrapped himself up in a sexy package, and delivers himself to us that way...what does he expect? How can we help ourselves? He's sexy as hell - yes - but smart, articulate and kind at the same time. He's such a great combination, that it's hard to contain ourselves from gushing about him, in every aspect.

Many people (of all ages and genders) have commented that a musician has not had the effect on them that Adam has...ever! People are finding themselves head-over-heels for Adam, obsessed with him, and he is awaking a sensuality in some that they, perhaps, haven't felt in a loooong time. They're excited, and have fellow fans to discuss their feelings with - sometimes in an over-the-top or humorous way. All harmless fun.

As James Brown would say - I feeeeel GOOOOD -- these boys are great and make us all feel this way!!! Keep Surprising us boys!! I think it would be great to see Monte and Tommy JAM and rock the house out together when the band intro's are done - would be another "bring the house down" momemnt. How about ADAM singing right next to LP -- hey he could take his shirt off maybe pound on those drums too -- that would be epic!

I meant to say/type that there was some concern on this old thread that the discussion regarding the talent, artistry and musical prowess of Adam (and Tommy & gang) was falling SECONDARY to discussion by this site's participants about their sensuality, sexuality, physical appeal...etc. But you got what I meant anyway :).

you will find that many of the fans on this great site adore everything about adam..it's the whole package not one thing.

i've said before that adam has the best voice i've ever heard, he blows me away.

when i first saw adam on american idol, me and my little boy would watch with excitement to see how adam would sing every week (who else could do that, sound so different with every song) nobody i don't think.
the week he sang ring of fire i thought wow this guy is an amazing genius.
so it was adam's voice that attracted me to him first....it just so happens that he is super gorgeous as well. what a bonus

Sorry, I'm not feeling this! I thought Adam stated a month or so ago that he was not going to do this at every concert. Also so noted he is getting more "crotch" grabbing lately...Just sing Adam and move that body anyway you want, butjust sing.

I also don't get the crotch grabbing....hated it when Michael Jackson and hes sisters did it...such a turn-off..ruined the whole song

i'm sorry but you can't call michael jackson sexy or his sisters for that matter that's why is didn't work for them. as for adam...well, sexy as hell.

Well, let me tell you fellow, I got really grabed by sweet Adam on that week he said (I mean, he sang) «I can get no satisfaction».
The same happens to me so far...I watch him more and more, and more, but I can't get enough satisfaction; I mean, I die over and over again but keep asking for more death!

Adam's artistry isn't in question at all and the rest is fun and rock and roll.It's not tha AMA. Love the playing between Adam and Tommy.Tommy's a big boy and a willing sport.They all look like it's a party up there and are a great group giving us an incredible show! all at the top of their game. I really hated to see Michael Jackson grab his crotch . It looked so contrived and reminded me of a guy in highschool who had the crabs. Sorry for the visual. Hope no one is scratching lol funbunn40

Although I like them play for the sake of great entertainment as per Adam but I'm kinda worried of Tommy and I hope that Adam is doing this with respect of Tommy's talent as a great guitarist and not turn out as a joke in the end. Tommy seems fragile inside. And he's doing his best for the show.

Hey Adam Fix - yeah, death by Adam. I remember reading something a while back (I think I might have even posted about it here anonymously) about coroner's needing to come up with a new "category" for death certificates, LOL... I think someone had suggested just that - "Death by Adam Lambert" :). Hilarious.
