That was funny, she probably sent him the album. But he better watch out cuz she did get married a few weeks ago. Adam is constantly giving words a double meaning, most guys do that, and it is usually very funny. It was nice that he gave her album a thumbs up, as he often does with other singers.Hope they return the favor.

Now I am really confused 6:00. Peacocking also means showing off too, doesn't it? not that that helps explain anything. Oh well, off to read about Adam's surprising some lucky students that I just saw off to the side of this page.

peacocks are used in many places, including America's south, instead of dogs. They are very territorial, have a sirenlike call and will use that call if anyone comes into their territory. Better than a pitbull for many when used as watchbirds.

I cannot believe that Anon 5:18 doesn't know what a peacock is when Adam wears the feathers of that bird so often.

My father was called a peacock all his life because of his vanity. He had to look just so at all times. Now he'd be called metrosexual or high maintenance. He was certainly not gay and died in his 60's 15 years ago.

He just means the album is the "bomb" or "sweet" or "dope" don't you know any of the words young people use to descibe something they like. I am in my 70s and know that much. There was nothing too deep about Adam showing her his peacock either.just another double meaning word, don't think he was really talking about a bird, although he loves peacocks, he talked at one time of having a tatoo of peacosk feathers on his arm.

@anon 6:45 pm. I'm not 70 but I know that peacock can mean "blast", "fantastic" because this bird is so beautiful and when it lifts up and open her tail you can see amazing colors and shape of her feathers.
I talk about word "ridiculous". Sorry, combination of these two words "ridiculous" and "peacock" can't mean "bomb" or "sweet" or "dope"!

HE WASN'T TALKING ABOUT THE PEACOCK BIRD, everyone knows what a peacock bird is, and it has nothing to do with what Adam said, he was just being frisky and saying he would show her his peacock, double meaning word. not deep at all.

Guys, listen to the song and you will know what Katy and Adam mean by "Peacock" and you will realize why Adam really likes the song. It has nothing to do with a bird. As far as the "Ridiculous" comment, that means that he loved it and was impressed.

Sometimes I get more of a kick out of these comments than anything Adam does. You guys analyze things to death. Remember Adam saying that, "It's not that serious." It's a joke, a play on words.

Yeah, 8:50, "sick" means fantastic and "ridiculous" means tremendously good. "Banging" does not just mean... See what I learned watching Adam..lol

Whooooo you guys. Didn't anyone else catch Delilah5 @7:13? She thinks the peacock with the beautiful feathers is a she!! In all species of birds, except when they look exactly alike, it is the MALE that has the beautiful feathers or plummage. He shows off to the females so one of them will pick him. Most female birds are very plain and nondescript, but the will pick the most beautiful male so as to continue the species.

And yes, Adam is a most beautiful peacock.

btw 5:18 and Delilah: A peacock is a boy. A peahen is a girl. They love each other and roost (sleep) and nest (build a home for their eggs) in trees.

Of course we know that it is a male peacock that shows the tail feathers. Capercaillie does the same. I mean Katy is nice and very feminine. It's funny the tabloids write about Rihanna only when she grabs her crotch.

Whoever said peacocks are often used in the American south is an idiot. Goodness gracious you people are all way off on so many things. I have never seen a peacock as a pet here. You'll see them in a zoo.

The song peacock is about letting it all show, being true and flamboyant. Adam was twitting his approval of the album and being a bit naughty with the lyrics - which is the appeal of them.
