Wish we could read this article. Tried enlarging it, but couldn't. Nice press after all the political BS floating around. Have to say here and now very unhappy with New York Post's slant on story. While most stories about this protest are positive, the Post's is biased. Very disappointed and told them so. I am so tired of people in this Country who cannot support fellow Americans, regardless. Dark Side trying to think positive in light of hatred abounding around the world. Love and peace, works every time.
Dark Side, how I wish that love and peace worked everytime; however, they don't. Try to talk love and peace in Malasia; you're liable to get stoned (and I don't mean high). In order for a woman who gets raped to not be found guilty adultery and stoned to death, she must produce four unrelated male witnesses to the crime. Shariah law! And that law is being practiced here in America..specifically Michigan. Go figure.
@ dark side,,,, this address is for you. Go to this page, scroll down to the bottom and click on the newspaper with Adam's picture on the front. Called "The Review", when you click on it, it will bring up a much larger view of the picture and story of Adam which you can read. Several good pics of Adam along the way. Enjoy,, if it don't work let me know and I will post addy again. FF http://onthemeaningofadamlambert.wordpress.com/2010/10/10/adam-lambert-week-in-review-oct-10-16-2010/
OMG! I just discovered "Fever" before the tour so FIRECE and PURE from the website mentioned above from Juneau and Xena (my two favorite gals who have a radio show and also wrote the book "On the Meaning of Adam Lambert").
I was not being idealistic, I was being somewhat sarcastic, fail. I don't like some US stories who can only talk about AMA's in negative light. Can't they the hell move on. NO slight given to the many women who are stoned, beaten and killed by these Islamic Extremists. It is difficult to give an educated answer to these atrocities being leveled at women in some countries, when the reality is so mind boggling. Many religious books are written in a way and at a time when women had less value than a farm animal. In fact, at the beginning of Christianity, in particular, the Catholic Church had similar views. Women were chattel. To say, even in the US, that baby, you've come a long way is a vast understatement. Keep in mind at the turn of the last Century, American women did not have the right to vote, nor any other civil or moral right for that matter.
