What an incredible human being...although at times I'm so amazed by his voice and showmanship talent that I do believe he's an alien, -- human's just can't be that perfect.

What an inspiration he is for all to aspire, to what YOU believe in, just by being HIMself. Courageous, positive and always uplifting, and brutally honest.

I've heard him say he did NOT have any role models to look up to with his own struggles. How hard that must have been. I'm glad that he had the love and support of his family, especially his Mom who I'd like to thank for raising such a wonderful human being. For those who don't have that support, his message to look inside and find the strength within to be who YOU are is so positive, and is expressed beautifully in the music he's written.

What a strong, beautiful spirit and loving heart he has, and is willing to share with the world. I hope anyone out there struggling with their own issues can find acceptance, support and inspiration from this incredible man...and his positive message. What a gift he is.

Adam, I totally agree with you. If they don't like you because you are gay, then maybe they should stay away from you. They are the ones who are missing out. I love you, and everything you do and I do not care if you are gay. This has nothing to do with you being an entertainer.

Wanted to mention another great video in this series, the first one I've seen (maybe there are others)from a religious leader. It's Gene Robinson, the bishop of New Hampshire Episcopal Church. He says that as a gay person you dont need to leave behind religion, just find the right one! He is gay. If anyone is interested, I'll try and find where I saw it. Adamluv

Could not be said better or with more honesty and sincerety. That close eye contact with the camera is so amazing. It's like he's talking to each of us individually. BTW, his message is intended for youth, but it really applies to all of us who get bullied or rediculed for who we are. Incredible articulate intelligent man. Just nothing else to be said.

oh adam, i was hoping you will do a longer episode of this video. my eyes were glued on you and digested everything you have said. i am a mother with five children, my two boys are both straight but you definitely gets my sympathy and full attention. well done adam.

while voting is fun and it is nice to see Adam make a good showing in these polls, you all do know that the polls are meaningless as to who is going to perform at the jingle balls, right? For the most part the performers are booked well in advance. The fact that Adam is listed in these polls likely means either 1) that he is already booked, 2) they want to get hits for their website, or 3) both. Most jingle ball performers are booked during the summer....then they add in "hosts" later in the game and sometimes will also add in a later performer or two.

This "It gets better" video was beautifully done; heartfelt,straightfoward,honest and intelligent. I was so moved I went on to Youtube to see the other "It gets better" videos. I hope it encourages all bullied teens, not just Glbtq teens. These videos should be seen over and over again as tolerence and acceptance have been harder to find over the last several years and I just don't understand why. Even comedy is often mean, judgemental, and cruel. How did we come to this???

Ditto, Anon 3:56 PM....Adam is my hero! I have enormous respect for this man. His intelligence, sincerity, kindness, willingness to help someone in need is truly an inspiration for all of us, no matter sexual orientation, young or old race or ethnicity or gender. He is an extremely special human being and I so hope he continues to live happily and successfully to live out all his dreams because he certainly deserves it.

In it he says he'd received over 12,000 emails from all over the world in response to his speech. Interviewed by anchor Thomas Roberts who just happens to be gay. Small steps!! Adamluv

Thanks Adamluv/6:28 - I also, quite by accident, stumbled into Joel Burns on the Today show this morning w/ Matt Lauer, it was good, Mr. Burns will make a difference I firmly beleive. This morning he said he had about 20,000 emails and had a team of people going through them to help ensure that they weren't missing any crisis situations. Anyway... thanks also for the reminder on Gene Robinson's IGB vid - I've been meaning to check that out (I'm quite familiar w/ his story being from MA), and I read online somewhere today a comment for someone who said that Adam's and Tim Gunn's IGB vids were their favorites - I checked out Tim Gunn's - it is amazing indeed if anyone wants to check it out. Everyone has already said what is in my heart to say about Adam's "It Gets Better Video" but I do just want to say thank-you to Adam here for his courage and the life he lives so honestly...I have actually already "tweeted" that to him and commented on his video as well...I really hope as many here that are on Twitter will do so, even tho he probably gets many thousands of tweets every day..as he says he does read many of them, to see what we are thinking...and comment on his video because we want the positive comments to far overpower those stupid bullying remarks that always manage to show up on anything about him...lets not let the bullies win!!! I don´t know why I keep going back to watch this video and read the comments. It´s like torture. Over 100.000 views and tons of stupid, mean, ignorant comments. I totally loose faith in humanity. It´s so painful to see, and there is no way you can reason with those idiots. They are brainless, heartless morons. I think the good people has given up and left the trash to enjoy themself spewing hate and stupidity. The music industry had a chance to make a point and nominate Adam to at least one award.
