I spent more than an hour absorbed in the Burning Man artworks not knowing Adam was there! I particularly like the muted vehicles and the rainbow launcher that cast double rainbows in the sky. An artist's paradise! The Burning Man hoist in the centre reminded me of Adam.

There's no need to translate the whole Tutka. Sauli only said that he went to this Burning Man festival and that there was a lot of dust and he couldn't take a shower for a week. :)

Sauli told some basic stuff about BM in Tutka and promised to tell more in this week's blog. He said he has dust everywhere now, didn't shower for a week, bicycled around the area and saw some circus performances etc. It will be interesting to read his blog. He was full of laughter as always, a happy boy. :)

I have seen the YT vids of the latest Tutka but unfortunately I couldn't understand a word except for Burning Man. Thanks to those who gave a synopsis of what Sauli said, but I would still love to read an English translation. I hope one surfaces soon. Can't wait to read Sauli's blog this week also.

I thought Adam was busy putting the finishing touches on his second album, but maybe he needed this break to "lift his spirit" at a very crucial point in his career. If he came back revitalized and re-energized, that is all that matters. It is going to be very hectic for him once the album and that first single are released later this fall. Waiting anxiously with the rest of you to see any pictures from their time at BM. Another rainy day here in north east NJ so I need something to revitalize myself also and new pictures would certainly do that.

I wouldnt be too concerned about Adam working too much . his heart got full after a vac last yr he experienced a rebirth in Bali another refreshing in Bora Bora and now hes liftd his spirit at BM Im Done with him UGH

Yes, real fans are sticking with adam! Since when does he have to working ALL the time? Geez, Maybe nothing could of been accomplished on his album anyway since it was labor day week. I'm sure adam is well aware and puts his career first. When I was 29 I would of done the same thing. Yes, do I want to hear more from adam as an artist- you bet, but I believe all good things are worth waiting for and supply and demand doesn't hurt anyone either.

Maybe this guy is not my sweet Adam «burningManing» in the picture but let me tell you fellows, I've been burning in my private hell for almost 30 days, 20 of them under diet ZERO, the worst (hot) summer ever, in an full infirmary, open like a fish, connected to so many tubes (GOD!!!!), feeling an octopus... but a glam one.

Let's forget it for now, just the most horrible days ever in my life. But my faith, my friends, the doctors and nurses, my love for sweet Adam and your prayers brought me BACK! And I'm back to STAY, feeling again in Paradise!

Sorry to hear about these serious health issues. Wishing you all the best! As for Adam's vacation time: he doesn't have a 9-5 job like so many of us do. If he gets the job done, ie. producing great music, he can vacation all he wants. He's young, single and is earning money. He'll be there for us, don't worry. I'm certainly not leaving the Glamily because Adam takes fun trips. In days past, pre-internet, stars took vacations and hardly anybody knew about it. The fans were still there when they got back. Relax.

Lil Wayne went to jail and it took him 3 years to come up with his 4th album and his fans waited for him. He sold over one million this past week. So you guys better be patient. There are some things that Adam can't do anything about it. Such as changes that are happening with his label. Some artists from Jive are moving to RCA. Patient is a virtue and out of love for Adam real fans will wait for his album.

I can be patient, for as long as it takes, but I wish we could hear from him and Sauli. I know he sent a couple of tweets, but Sauli could have done that for him. I sincerely hope he isn't sick. Don't know how they handle food and water, or even drugs, that may be contaminated.Sauli would never say a word about him. I guess I am an over anxious mother, I have a grand daughter his age.

What is there about Adam Lambert that makes us so passionate in these comments that are posted here whether they are positive or even the negative ones? I see such love, devotion, acceptance ...almost a worshiping at the shrine called Adam Lambert. Then there are the naysayers, the haters with the ugly comments that appear every so often. He certainly brings out the best and sometimes the worst in people. It just truly amazes me what a warm,friendly group of individuals usually posts here and then sends out best wishes to those who are ill or suffering in some way. Adam has changed peoples' lives and ways of thinking with his message of love, understanding, respect and acceptance. I know he made me want to "listen to music again" and to feel better about myself, to glam it up a little and to have fun with the people around you and to appreciate them. In a sense we can live vicariously through him enjoying his journey as he takes us along for the ride, one most of us will never experience in our lifetimes. So keep these comments coming so I can learn more about Adam and the reasons he has so many devoted and passionate fans. It makes for a lot better reading than what is in the news,or for most of the daily occurences in my life and perhaps many of yours.

I am THRILLED that Adam and Sauli where able to attend Burning Man this year! What a treat for Adam, to be able to feel "real" and do something that he truly loves that perhaps under different circumstances might have been off limits to him because of his new-found celebrity. Three years ago he was an unknown in the world of pop culture and now he is part of it. For him to take his partner Sauli to this celebration of Art and Freedom of Expression is just the best thing that he could have imagined, I'm sure! The fact that he said he was able to "Renew his Spirit" is just the best thing we could hear from him, seriously. And to stay "under the radar": amazing! So happy for him! He'll be able to put those finishing touches on his new music with a lighter heart and a richer soul as a result of his time at Burning Man this year. Something that is so dear to him enriches his life and ours as well, I'm sure. I'm not worried about "substances", incriminating pictures, (photography was severely restricted and regulated..) or anything else..He came to us from Burning Man and I am eternally grateful for what ever "substances" ('shrooms, whatever.), and his relationship with the Universe, that put him in a direct line to American Idol and as a result, to us...We can't stifle his creativity and his need to experience these soul-enriching moments. And to just have some FUN!! They have helped to make him the interesting and creative man/artist that he is..and without them, he wouldn't be fully Adam...So my advice is this: Celebrate along with Adam and be joyful that he was able to do this once again...

Whatever feeds your soul Adam i'd say go for it! I'm so proud of you Adam because you've fought your way through living your life honestly and i congratulate you for doing so. Staying true to who you really are is the reason why you are able to enjoy life to the fullest. What is the use of success if one is not free to do things that truly make you happy. Adam is such a true artist. Truly! That Adam needed this for his SOUL! I get it.
That is why we love this guy, and if he can stay close to what jazzes him as he continues his rise, then he will stay an important artist.

The Burning Man is truly an inspirational event, an artist's dream come true. However your opinion, "I am not worried about "substances"... makes me quite worried. Adam is very focused and knows when to hold back and these "substances" seemed to have worked for him; but even then all it takes is one time when things can get very out-of-hand. So many real life examples for us to see and learn from...Elvis, MJ, Amy Winehouse and others. :)

I do understand your concern about my comment about "substances" , and after I posted that comment I thought that it might have been a little vague, and could be misconstrued...What I was actually saying was in response to a couple of other comments, that they were worried that pictures might show up of Adam that could be "incriminating" etc..I think he is smart enough these days to be cautious when around temptations such as those. I'm personally not worried about him getting involved with drugs, etc.. and wouldn't want to imply that I would want him to over-imbibe. Just want to suggest that we don't begin to worry that he could go down the path of Elvis, MJ, etc.etc... My comment was meant to be light hearted...but if it caused you concern, I apologize. I am truly not worried about him in that regard at all...I trust that Adam isn't going to do anything to jeopardize his career, his relationships, his life, and his new music...By the way, there are "substances" and there are 'SUBSTANCES" and I don't think Adam will be tempted by any of the really worrisome ones...He has way too much to lose to get involved with those. Actually I read they have some food caterers but they also have to be very independent and self-reliant, so they probably bring a lot of their own food as well. @Fan4fun, Yay!!! Our Diamond Girl is back!! You can't keep a good woman down! Our many prayers have been answered and your strength and determination are an inspiration! You are most definitely a strong survivor! I think you're more than caught up now and don't need any more ills to slow you down. I think Adam and Sauli are reasonably health concious, mature and responsible men. I don't believe Adam or Sauli would do anything that reckless to jeopardize their glowing futures. Adam isn't that naive and knows exactly what Burning Man is about. It's more than drugs, drinking, etc. My guess is they probably smoked some weed, had some drinks and communed with other creative like minds, sharing inspirations and just having fun. They're grown men that I believe have good sense and zest for life. Adam works hard and probably plays hard. He has exibited really strong work ethics as his grueling Glamnation Tour showed, along with his many interviews, tweets, recordings, business meetings and charitable works. I think he more than puts in his 40 hr week, especially while on tour. He also like all of us, deserves time off to live his life, or what's the point? Everyone is entitled to a personal life. He does it all extremely well under great scrutiny and pressure. I'm in awe of his handling of it as much as his extraordinary talent. Good job, Adam! Those pics I posted are probably the same as @1:36 AM... I was in a hurry this AM to get to work so didn't notice they had already been posted (with an almost identical comment about facial hair!) The pics I posted are from my Twitter acct.. Sorry you couldn't access them..They're great enlargements from Sauli's blog..which I LOVED, by the way! Adam and Sauli are simply perfect together!
