Holy Shit!!! At 3pm, I was sitting at my son's swim lesson and started reading the threads on here about the NZ show...but didn't watch any of the videos until later tonight. I was thinking about them all afternoon, though, based on the comments I'd read. Well - let's just say - my husband would like to know where to send a thank you note to Adam?!?! Wow. This performance was just too hot to handle - totally sent me over the edge!!!!

Adam, please perform more of your songs on your hands and knees, ok? Thank you!

And I thought, when he answered the Malaysian fan's question about his left and right hand, he said he likes to...um..."say hello" with his left hand - but I dunno people, he looked like he was pretty proficient at "saying hello" to his mic with his RIGHT hand, tonight, dontcha think????

Honestly, I watched some of these today, earlier, and after watching Enter Sandman I could really not think about anything else for awhile...so I haven't watched it since...Am almost ready to try it again...Had to be productive today...I think I was, but its a little hard to remember...Hmmm...

And apparently Adam is quite ambidextrous...Its good that you are keeping track of that sort of thing!!!! Will have to keep a closer eye on the "handedness" from now on!!!

I would guess that there are millions of significant-others who should be sending Adam thank-you notes on a regular basis....I know mine should :-)...Maybe thats why I have no trouble talking him into going to those concerts....

Oh...almost forgot to say that I loved the way he sang that song...he can literally sing anything...and wish he would...(got distracted again...)

Enjoyed reading your post. Strange but Adam really has this ability to make people like at once whatever he sings. I never listened before to WLL, Bowie, TCB and now ES but i always enjoy his covers.

And funny because for my husband to play LED ZEP-WLL 3 nights ago was kinda weird. Must be his own way of thanking Adam too as i would surmise he is indeed a closet fan. He would be snarky at times but isn't quick to dismiss Adam's talent.

24/7 - thank you so much for this full version, one the best i've seen so far. First time i heard the song and this makes me appreciate it more. I guess anything and everything about Adam is consistently pleasurable.

My husband is a fan of Adam's and has been since the beginning of AI Season 8, and is a staunch defender and great admirer of Adam....He loves his voice and his personality, etc..So he has been to two concerts this year with me and will be going to two more in Hawaii...(and I've been to two without him..)...THAT said, I am going to the LA Glam Nation concert in Dec. with several of my best newly acquired (in the last year) Adam Lambert women friends who, along with me, are going to be doing our absolute best to be the most enthusiastic and crazy-ass fans out there (in a good way of course!) and without our husbands...It will be a girls-night-out (actually several nights out..) slumber-party/ Adam love-fest of the highest order...So while I am thankful that my husband loves Adam almost as much as I do : ) , he gets to stay home for the last Glam Nation concert and I am pretty sure that is where he prefers to be for this one!!!!

I;m glad someone else has admitted they hadn't heard the song, It seemed that everyone knew the song and knew of Metallica...I must confess I;ve heard of neither..will also admit that while I loved his performance, didn't like the song, and much prefer TCB.

Adam tweeted another video of Enter Sandman. That video has about 300 views on YT, like this one. That´s very odd, since both vids got tons of comments. Someone explained that the View count freezes when they are too many. The system collapses. Yesterday Enter Sandman trended #1 on Internet. And still there are morons that says: "that ugly faggot has had his 15 minutes of fame, now get out and die!"

When I went to my first GNT tour, I thought I would not see anyone I knew there. Well, surprise, surprise, I found two nieces (not sisters), one former sister in law, and at least two friends, all of whom I never did have the chance to find out before the concert were likewise Adam fans! I tell you we are growing exponentially!

Damn I think the boy can sing a little .What an amazing performer and Ilove how he and Tommy just MELT into each other when they kiss ! If yhis is how he kisses his friend?? I cant even imagine how ihe is with a lover OH YES I CAN whew

While I knew about Metallica, I never heard any of their songs. Everything Adam sings is very special to me. I hope in performing Enter Sandman, Adam's fan base will expand even more - many rock fans out there.

Adam's It Gets Better video was very touching and real. His message to be brave, positive and believe in yourself is brilliant. There will always be evil in the world. Adam has millions of fans, but still the haters persist. The fact that Adam can still be so sweet and caring is an amazing feat. All we can do is keep getting the word out there, and hopefully there will be change for the better. Adam is an inspiration to all of us to be better. Thanks Adam for pulling us up. We love you so much.

Wow, that makes me envious even more but of course in a good way. I'm so thrilled that you are going to see him again not only once but thrice, you are very lucky people! Couldn't thank You Tube and 24/7 enough for all the videos and news made available for his global fans. My life would be unimaginable without them.

America is so blessed to have a treasure like AFL and i pray that someday he gets the recognition he so deserves in his own country. Well it doesn't have to be awards because they suck but perhaps more radio friendly stations, more substantial support for his creativity, relevant projects that would showcase his exceptional talent so on and so forth. Most of the time my maternal instincts make me nuts but it is all genuine concern for Adam. And i know it will happen slowly but surely.

Thanks for doing your share in showing the world that America loves Adam!That means a lot to him. And i LOVE THE FANGIRLING ha ha ha.Will look forward to your recaps then.

@HK fan- Oh yes because my influences are Latin and Mainstream Jazz, Samba, Bossa Nova and Standards. Was never into any other kind of music but because it is Adam i had to be open to whatever he gives us. Will only do it for Adam and no one else. I can live with both TCB and ES.

It is good that Adam is like of box of chocolates, there is always something for everyone. And that wouldn't be possible if not for his hard work and broad experience. So impressed here with his wide repertoire and i have yet to hear his take on my favorite jazz songs. That would be icing on the cake for me. I remember an interview where he said that he had to sing standards and jazz, you bet that was music to my ears! Though not likely to happen soon.

I LOVE it when Adam does the hard rock n roll stuff! A few of my favorite clips are from his early "Citizen Vein" days. There's a great (short) clip from soundcheck of this song.. at the end he just drawls.. " METAAAAL"....

The Enter Sandman video has gone viral. Also, read a post from Heavy Metal site that did not like Adam's interpretation. Since I don't know Metallica and never into heavy metal, think I'll google this song by them...sounds sour grapes. Since neither Tommy or the microphones melted, we can assume Adam held back the total annihilation factor. I would love to hear Adam sing Ella--a little jazz is good for the soul.

If anyone reading has NOT heard the original--It's Heavy Metal, so its a VERY different sound vocally... A metal-growl type vocal where as Adam's is pure or clear. Though a different sound from the original, there's no denying the power and excitement of Adam's Rock version.
Um, the fact that it's sexy heeyyyll, well that comes with the entertainment package that is an Adam ony bonus! I'll never think of monsters under the bed the same way again... Lucky US!

Everyone tells me my chocolate chip cookies are great and I've been making chocolate chip cookies for years. One day, Adam Lambert takes my chocolate chip cookie recipe and adds Khalua to the chocolate chips, laces the sugar with cocaine and uses Yak butter from the Himalaya's .... and makes my cookies. My cookies a la Adam taste "betterer" than I could ever have imagined. That's pretty much what he does to a song - any song, poor babies!!

I do not like Metallica and didn't care much for this song...but ADAM'S version (on his hands/knees - can't say that enough times) - HELL YEAH!!!! I am still reeling. My husband wants to know what I watched it last night so he can permanantly burn it onto a thumb drive that I keep on my person at all times. ;)
