Congrads, Adam! 5,000 copies, this is amazing news.
Now, about "Acoustic Live!" How many of us waited for final release of digital copies. So many Adam's fans were upset that they didn't have chance to buy hard copy. I wish, I can find how many red label hard copies were sold after RCA released them last week. Don't wanna be pessimistic, but it seems like RCA was right when they released limited edition "Acoustic Live!" I already order red label CD with Adam photo. But how many of us order this CD? Is it enough to cover RCA expenses? You know that they have some expenses to release more CD, right?

I ordered both red and blue. I believe they only originally ordered 10,000 and those sold out first week. Don't know for certain, but it seems this Acoustic CD is a very good means of keeping Adam in the public eye without releasing another single. Not going to second guess RCA.

I take it these figures do not include downloads which makes it kind of unfair as the Acoustic CD is not available in the stores. What a great stocking stuffer it would have made if it was!

The Acoustic Ep just doesn't sell. A bunch of people wanted it and they got it. Something wrong with RCA and Adams management, whoever they are.

Speaking of Acoustic EP, just got a notice from the post office! Must be my calendar or my EP... yay... a surprise‼ :) Picking it up today! One more thing to come from Adam! If it takes any more longer, Adam will have to deliver it himself personally... hahaha *wishful thinking*

Love my calendar and EP from Adam! Great job! In time for Christmas! Adam is the gift that keeps on giving! Happy Hanukkah and Happy New Year BB!
I predict even better things for you in 2011!

I recently got my Acoustic EP Hard Copy CD and I play it several times daily! Since I had to wait so long for it to arrive, I ordered the digital CD from ITunes right away so I could start enjoying it! And enjoy it I do! I don't see any promotion for it on Amazon or ITunes though. It's kinda hard to find I think. Anyway, I'm ordering a few more hard copies now for gifts. I've been playing it for friends and family (who aren't really avid Adam fans) and when they hear it they really like it! So we have to do our own promotion for Adam 'cause RCA doesn't do very much it seems. But what do I know about record sales and promotion????

Actually the number of "Acoustic Live!" CD sales is incorrect. I just read Matt Carter's review. 6200 copies of Acoustic Live! were sold on second week. It is still not enough to keep this CD on Billboard, but it makes big difference in sales. Matt gave info about total sales amount. So, we don't know how many digital copies were sold and howm many hard copies were sold.

The Remixes Ep was not promoted either. People find what they want to buy, especially young. Don't try to convert young people become fans. That would only have the opposite effect. You wouldn't like it either.

@anon 1:16pm What does this mean? Convert young people become fans!!!!!!!!!!!! Where did you get this idea? All Adam's fans are Glam addictive but I think this is legal addiction:) But Glam is not the religion. You are really strange person:(

Considering the amount of awesome music out this year, Adam has been holding his own, and it is apparent his fan base is at times driving sales, not RCA. Could be wrong, but looks like once you leave Idol, you are basically on your own--so sink of swim up to the artist and how well he is rec'd. See this week where Crystal outselling Lee, but neither has been given much of a send off. Idol seems more concerned with the judges and hyping the upcoming season. Anyone care to put money on the publicity S10 winner gets--bet more than these people getting.

These numbers for the acoustic EP could be so different if only it was available to buy in the shops. Especially at this time of year. All RCA are doing is preaching to the converted. Just don't get it.

I also just received my hard copy CD and calender (same day even yeah) I digitally bought it on i'tunes because I couldn't wait and made 15 copies to give to friends and family (who are not an avid fan like me) Even if one becomes like me I'll be happy. Maybe I should of bought 15 copies however instead of making copies. I think I messed up!

The numbers you put up are incorrect for 'Acoustic Live!' The EP sold 6,252 total physical and digital copies this week. 17,000 since release. I wish Brian at Idol Chatter would wait until later in the day before posting, there is ALWAYS confusion with his numbers.

@Anon 12/23/10 11:05 a.m. - You think you messed up? Um yeah, you just stole 15 copies of Adam's EP. That is what is wrong with the music today. People like you stealing artists' music. If it starts becoming non-profitable to the artists and their record labels, you are going to see less and less music being made.

Wake up people!!!!
