Adam Lambert 24/7 News

I'm excited about this second album, and excited he gets to spend more time on it. Late fall is a wait, but I know it will be well worth it. I figured the album might have a darker tone, especially since he's going to be writing all the songs. He's been through a roller coaster these last two years, and I know that will be reflected on his sophomore album. There will still be light and fun, but Adam always struck as me as a P!nk type when it came to album writing. Her first CD was just fun pop, but then she got to write all her own songs and most of them are really deep and emotional. I can't wait! Bring it, Lambert!

More rock and dark . Hope he meant the WLL in Fantasy spring type song, dark and blue. I'll take it even only he makes a couple of those. Better wait than hurry.

Interesting. Dark. I've always seen a "dark" side of Adam. It comes through in his obvious anger and frustration and even his strong sexuality. He is a very deep person, and even though he says he's transparent and we know everything about him, I think there's a side we don't know. He is an open mystery, which is why many of us find him so darn appealing.

Well, this calls for an OMFG moment. I was sure he would release it a little later seeing as though he's been pushing back the writing process. It's a good move. I don't mean to sound negative, but I'm sure his album would get "buried" under the buzz of Lady Gaga and Britney's new CD no matter how good he is. He needs a "clear road" for this sophomore album if he wants to be heard. When he says it's going to be "very pop, very rock and maybe even a little dark", it makes me think of some dancy electronic rock hybrid album, something you play at clubs. And somehow "dark" makes me think of either heavy rock or sexy drum & bass/dubstep/disco/electronica undertones. I'm shitting my pants just thinking about the new videos. :D

I think there should be an Adam/Pink duet on his album. They could rock out together.

I would make the album SEXY as possible! There could be SEXY videos to go with SEXY songs! I would put the word SEXY in the album title. gotta keep it SEXY!

I hope he still keeps his band+dancers...

sounds good!! Can't wait :) I anticipated the rock/pop thing but I didn' expect the "dark" thing since FYE already has so many dark undertones so idk how much darker it could get but 'dark' to me translates as emotional and meaningful which is what music should be any way...there is a current trend of shallowness that runs through almost all the songs played on the radio and he is one of the few artists who wants his music to have substance and I truly appreciate that...I hope its not depressing though...for some reason he looked a bit more serious in this interview than usual, may just be cuz he's getting older...idk lol
and I also knew the album wouldn't be out by summer, that's really not a lot of time and since FYE was a rushed album I think this one need not be. In fact ideally he should just take the time he needs but then we would all die waiting lol

I second the motion on keeping the band and dancers he had for GNT. That ended up being a real treat!!!! :)

Adam's 2nd album sounds very intriguing and well worth waiting for.

Aww, disappointed that we have to wait all summer for the next album, but glad he is going to take his time. Besides, isn't a lot of the late spring/early summer stuff basically dance fluff? I mean like "Umbrella" one year, Katy P. last year, that kind of thing. I would rather wait for songs with some meaning and depth to them. Here's to hoping for more gem-colored platters to hang on his wall.

I am looking forward to the new cd with more rock,but I REALLY can hardly wait until he's out on tour again!!!! His voice and vision for that tour were some of the best times of my life...still playing first cd a lot!

I'm not for duet with Pink after that move she/or her producers pulled with WWFM....sorry.

Like everybody else I really excited when I found that Adam is gonna release the new album on fall and new single at late summer.
However, what's gonna happen during these 7 or 8 months? We already made a lot of comments about this, but I still think RCA has to release one more single from FYE. And doesn't matter how successful it gonna be but I think this is very important for Adam. His name suposes to be in the air. Hate to make this kind of examples, don't want to disrespect somebodies feelings but did you see what happen with David Cook? One CD, one or two singles just in six-seven months after the Idol and now even David biggest fans slightly tired to wait for his new single or album:(
Certainly, we can't compare Adam with David or anybody else. But Adam or RCA! needs to release news one single or even two now.
Anyway, happy for you Adam. You have a lot of fun and look relaxed.

OT For those of you who don't know yet, Adam is scheduled to appear on a TV talk show called The Talk on CBS @ 2pm PST, February 9th! This is a relatively new talk show that started near the end of 2010 I believe. Celebrity moms sit and discuss current events etc. Sharon Osbourne is one of the co-hosts. I read somewhere Adam is going to talk about the Grammys! Set your DVRs!

Where is Joss Stone nowadays? Christina Aguilera appears in the tabloids and not in a good way. I just learned that Christina is called a pop diva in Europe, because she acts like a diva.
