I just don't like any tatoos. Few years ago everybody started to get tatoos to be different, special. However in our time, person who doesn't have tatoos or has just small one or two tatoos is different:) Adam has such a beautiful skin. I think he will be okay without any tatoos on his body.
Also, Adam mentioned on one of his latest interviews that to get tatoo is very painfull and he doesn't like it.

From what I have seen (can't understand a word) Sauli is delightful, has a great sense of humor and loves to play dress up. I think Adam and Sauli would have a lot of fun together. Adam says he loves to laugh. Great!

I think Adam can do much better. I mean just the fact that the guy got his start on such a lame show as Big Brother is an embarassment. To me it's a lame show for kind of dumb people who are desperate for attention. And this video od Sauli is not funny at all. He acts like a little kid who thinks he's funny, but isn't. Just a little too immature and untalented for me. I think Adam usually does fall for guys who aren't quite as good as him because he must still be struggling a bit with his self esteem.

Sauli's parodizing certain types of characters that sometimes audition for Big Brother. This is meant to be SNL type humor. I think he pulls it off great. And FYI, not everyone's dumb who goes on BB. Or maybe it's different in your country? Sauli was wonderful on Finnish Big Brother. He showed that he's an intelligent young man, with good sense of humor and a sweet temper. Also, it has given him a lot of hosting jobs and such in addition to winning 50,000 euros...

Sauli seems the type that is desperate for attention. It's soooooo all about him. I cringe a bit watching many of his videos. Adam likes wanna be creative types that are not nearly as talented as he is, so that he can guide them. It gives Adam a self esteem boost, plus he can feel comfortable in knowing that he is the more talented one, and thus more of the leader in the couple. I mean I'm happy for them too, but I see this as a fling that will last several months because Adam needs to meet more of an equal.

Also, we can't compare Adam who was born big star, who spent most of his life on stage and Sauli who started to perform not such a long time ago. And to be smart and funny as Sauli is doesn't mean to be very talented as Adam.

Adam is a rare clever strong human that take AI 8 years to find him. He is super-talented and I think only a few can match him. There is no need to slam other to raise our EGO. It is very lucky that Adam find Sauli and I believe everything happen to be a reason behind this. Most important, they are happy together at this moment.

In one of the BB videos Sauli speaks Swedish. Swedish is the second official language in Finland and we all have to learn it at school. It´s a language that is almost singlehandedly hated by students, so I´m thinking that if Sauli has managed to learn some Swedish, he definitely speaks English as well.

Finnish seems a very hard language, i mean a lot of european languages, French, Spanish,Italian, Germans etc, if you watched a video like this you would be able to get the gist of a few words even if you don't speak the language, but his one, nothing...

well actually Adam did say that in the past he's liked guys who are younger,twinky and in the arts, so that he can enjoy a more adult-like roll in the relationship, as far as nuturing them and helping them with their craft. He also said that in the future he foresaw himself dating more age appropriate men, guess not just yet. But don't get me wrong, I love ya Adam and Sauli.

Many of the languages you mentioned stem from Latin and Greek origins, so yeah, they have a lot in common. And it's my understanding that also English gets a lot of words from those same origins.

Finnish belongs to Finno-Ugric languages. The three biggest of them are Hungarian (10 mil. speakers), Finnish (5 mil. speakers) and Estonian (1 mil. speakers). I've heard Hungarian spoken and I didn't get a word they were saying so basically it's just Finnish and Estonian that resemble each other. Our language is in danger of becoming extinct. *sniff*

You're probably right that our language is difficult. It's not extraordinary at all for words to have more than 15 letters. Actually the longest Finnish word is 61 letters long(lentokonesuihkuturbiinimoottoriapumekaanikkoaliupseerioppilas). LOL. Don't ask me to translate it. Stupid engineers' special terminology...

Sorry, but I think everybody understood that most of these polls are fake.
After I found final results and participants in Rock in Rio festival I realise that our votes can't change anything and most of these polls created by people who don't make any decisions about concerts,awards, or festival performers. Adam was #2 after AC/DC when voting was closed. But Adam neither as AC/DC will not participate in Rock in Rio festival. However, Kary Perry, Riannah, Elton John, and more artists will perform there. I don't remember Katy's name in the voting list.
But I remember very good that David Cook got many votes. However,he will not perform on Rock in Rio.

i have been married for a long time to a finlander and have have had problems being close to his parents as they could not speak english very well so they spoke fin all the time and i felt ignored to what they were talking about. i hope adam takes everything slow and takes his time.

They look happy and that is all that matters. I am just glad that he gets a nice vacay after all the hard work. He is the most beautiful thing on two feet. Cute couple. Sorry he never gets any privacy at all. The pap are so annoying. But still so glad he is enjoying himself with Sauli.

Do you also find that people just don't get it? No amount of explaining seems enough.

I'm not trying to rain on his female fans parade, just try to insert a little understanding.

I'm a fan of Adams and so is my partner, though he laughs when I go on this site. These people for the most part probably have little contact with gays or lesbians but because Adam can and does, charm the pants off of them (so to speak) they have ventured to befriend a gay young man.

And I think Adam is responsible for hundreds or can I hope thousands of people to be more compassionate and maybe change their views. That's great.

I have mulled this over and over. As Adam has said, sexy is sexy. And he is the perfect representation of that. People of all ages, colors, cultures, orientations are pulled in by his "sexy" and his charisma (and of course his voice). Each person comes from their own perspective that I think can be really confusing for some, at some level, and so they want Adam to "fit" more into their reality.

I so love the strength of character that Adam displays to be who he is in the public eye. He teaches others of courage, acceptance and opens a window to part of the population that many are not familiar with.

I do agree that for many this is the first time they have, as you say "befriended" a gay young man. And that is what is so wonderful about all of this. Hearts are opening. Understanding is broadening. It is a beautiful thing.

There are some fans who are not yet able, IMO, to go to that place of really accepting that Adam is gay, not to say they are closed-minded or phobic. I don't know if it feeds a fantasy if he is bi. I can't get in to others minds to know why they hold so tightly to Adam being on the fence.

I think that Adam seems to have a power to stretch people to a place they may never have gone before and that is great. The stretch can be painful, challenging and uncomfortable. And for those who are for the first time "befriending" Adam, the young gay man, I think they would be surprised to know how many of their children, friends, co-workers and family members are gay. They just haven't come out yet.

There seem to be many fans who are very comfortable and able to accept Adam’s orientation, but there are others who are stretching right now. It can be frustrating, but at least the conversation has begun.

Done, before this becomes a first chapter! Now I think I have made the speech! HA!

We need more of your down-to-earth opinions here. Sometimes it becomes really ridiculous. Adam has opened a lot of peoples minds and that is wonderful but to fully accept him as gay is hard. They want him on the red carpet with a hot woman, they want him in the movies against Natalie Portman, even James Bond has been up for suggestion. Perhaps it will change in the future, but right now, there´s no chance in hell any film producer will put an openly gay man act in a straight role. They wont even put a gay man to act in a gay role (Brokeback Mountain). I really hope we are moving forward in struggle for equal rights and I think Adam, just by being himself and visible, will have an impact on that struggle. I hope that those who want to silence him don´t succeed and that he will be around for a long time to entertain us.

@KW and sister, You both said it so well. Dialogue opens the doors. People are sometimes afraid and intimidated by what they don't know or understand. I think Adam just living his life and being so visible, likable and attractive is showing that it's a misconception that all gays are alike and stereotypes are really not accurate. Why shouldn't they be as diverse as heterosexuals? My uncle was gay. You wouldn't meet a finer, classier gentleman. I was like his adopted daughter. He had a woman companion with whom he traveled and I never saw him with a male partner. It was a time when those things weren't discussed, but I knew, didn't care and loved him. I think because of him I've always felt comfortable and accepting of people passing thru' my life and more sensitive to hurdles unfairly put in their path. I remember when finding out that Rock Hudson was gay I was crushed. I thought at the time, "what a waste!" Of course in reality I had never seen him or would in life, but got over it in a few days and thought, "what good news for the gay guys!"lol Adam once said that the heterosexual lifestyle is constantly rammed down his throat, in movies, tv, all things. That really jolted me and drove home how skewed society is. I felt a terrible sadness and saw a painful reality of what it must be like to live in a society so dictated by straight people. I think the more we listen and ask questions the more we'll discover how very much alike we really are. funbunn40

For those youngsters among us....they were all gay. At the time, innocent that I was, I didn't know what homosexuality was! I'd led a VERY sheltered life.

Fortunately my daughters and grandson live in today's world....a better world. Their circle of friends are straight,lesbian,gay,white,black and east indian. They love them all. And I love them for it.

My school mates and I waited hours in pouring rain in an alley at the Chicago Theatre for a glimpse of him and Natalie Wood to come out on the fire escape. Monty Clift stirred your soul and like Adam had such an expressive face, not needing to speak a word to convey intense meaning and emotion. Richard Chamberlain as Dr. Kildare and in subsequent miniseries was another great actor that couldn't freely be himself in public. At the risk of stirring up the Ire of the Glamberts......how do you know Adam can act? The stage productions he has been in were singing roles basically. There aren't many musical films being made anymore and good ones are really rare.
