So, sweet Adam, that's it? «great music's happening» but you still keeping all secrets from us, no clues, no samples? Alright, so be it! But you kill us (and curiosity is painful!) and you'll see what YOU'LL DO «without your amazing Glamberts»... you bad Diamond Boy!

I have never been more excited about a new album coming out than Adam's. Of course I have never been so excited about watching Adam rise higher and higher into stardom!!! Love that he tweeted us this. He works so hard and I know it's going to be amazing music. Keep voting for Adam on March madness.

please vote...MTV March Madness.

It's Green Day vs. Adam Lambert. I posted the link earlier. Adam was at about 30% and Green Day 62% (that was 2 hrs ago). Now, Adam at 19% and Green Day at 80.22%. This is strictly a fan poll. Adam could win a big trophy if the Glamberts can pull this off for him! MTV is good exposure for him...pls vote if you have the time.
Thanks, CT

Adam - what a sweetheart to keep us involved in your life. You Work It, Boy !!

Anonymous said...

@Eva, I'm still drooling over the gif you put up earlier of Adam's eyes the last few seconds of Aftermath on AI.....I love your gifs!

But I can't get this one to work. I've tried it several different times, several different ways. Can you try again and see if another link comes up? Sometimes it will.

Your description is just too enticing!

The voting on MTV are beginning to move a little, so word is getting out. Vote, Vote, Vote for Adam up against Green Day! They did have to put him up against one of the greatest R&R bands on the planet...well I guess that could be a compliment of sorts. March Madness is sheer madness. VOTE!

I have to admit that I'm a bit concerned that Adam keeps talking about this next album being darker and moody. That's all fine and good, but much of what we love about him is his excitement and his fun, sexy songs - like Fever and IIHY. I trust his instincts but hope he doesn't veer too far from what we loved on FYE. Just sayin' ...

something different this time will be great Adam. You don't have to show too much all we need is your powerful voice and the charisma indeed. We love and trust what ever is working for you dear.

lots of leather, cuffs, spikes, hair gel, motorcycles, liner, nail polish, and wailin' guitars. I hope you can deliver!

Oh my, well he certainly has a variety of fans!
Personally I like dark....moody music. Wouldn't have Can't Let You Go, Time for Miracles, Broken Open,Soaked, A Loaded Smile, etc. without tear your guts out emotion. His voice can soar on those songs.

Though I like the peppy dance tunes too, I don't think they do his voice justice. I hope he doesn't work with Dr.Luke, he makes every song sound like Britney Spears . I know Adam likes POP but it truly doesn't showcase his vocal superiority.

Throw rocks at me if you will, but I fantasise about hearing him sing jazz, blues, soul and now I'm really gonna get it, even light opera! Don't be so quick to jump on me.....you've heard him sing Come to Me from Brigadoon, wasn't that ear candy?

Okay I know none of that is gonna happen in my lifetime......but someday you sprouts may hear it from him.

I'll be content if new album has some face reddening, vein popping out of this hemisphere ROCK.......see I'm not so stuffy.......JAK

Adam's second album really has to be something special not just for his devoted fans but for all those out there who criticized and gave poor reviews to FYE. To me, he is the best vocal talent in the music business today and this new album has to show that. He is working hard with some of the best collaborators and producers and probably has learned a lot from the GNT performances and the reception to the songs from the first album. I can't wait to hear the "great music that is happening" and this fall is a long way off, so maybe eventually we will get some clues or even hear one of the songs as a prelude to the final product. Keep those creative juices flowing!!

Anonymous said...

I think FYE is a very good CD, if the female divas sing it, it would sell millions, the poor reviews/sale is due to some issues. I hope the 2nd CD is more concentrate on the rock edge with Adam's killer voice. Can't wait.

Anonymous said...

Soaked is one of my favorites. That song shows off his incredible voice. The vocals have to be the main focus for the album.

Anonymous said...

Not to worry Adam will make it great music with his voice! He can sing the phone book and make is a hit. I hope more fans join our famdom.

Anonymous said...

You go boy! Anything Adam sings, will be terrific, even if we don't like it at first, we love it in the end!
Right now my mood has somewhat been just blah, need a moment of soothing sounds, so I listen to Sleepwalker, Aftermath, & TFM. then back to Loaded Smile or Soaked.
I gave a friend a copy of FYE & she just loves Fever, & her 11 yr youngen boy, loves Strut, Adam has music for everyone! & they both, mother & son, love the entire FYE! YEA!! two more fans!!
Adam's tweet here makes me feel like he has some really great ideas, & I'm Feeling Good! MWAH!!K

I hope we will not read any comments as "tik-tak" or "Adam, you have to work, you spend to much time for fun".
I always said that this people very annoying. I wish I can add something else, but our administration will delete this comment.
Love you, Adam. I know that your new album gonna be the jewel of the year!
Hope you will have enough time for fun.

Eva - your Gif at 1:49 PM...he's just such a flirty little minx!!! God. The cuteness. It's almost unbearable.

Anon 3:27 PM -- LOL!!! How's that deep breathing working for you??

JAK, 6:33 - YES, right on!!! I agree. His "pop" music wasn't always the best showcase for his voice, IMHO. I think he would sing in a register that didn't do him justice. Can't wait to hear the direction he goes on his new album. Hoping for soaring vocals!

POP sells but doesn't last, it's forgotten in a year. I'd like Adam's songs to last

Tony Bennett's still singing his hits and he was old when I was born!

I'm not quite as old as you JAK.....say who is The Grande Dame of this sorority? Anybody 80?
I'll just sign in as NOSY

Cannot wait for this album! I think this album will define he type of artist he will be.

FYE was playtime, living out his fantasies and dreams. If he wants to build fan base he needs to appeal to a wider audience, although I love anything he does, anywhere, anytime...

Anonymous said...

@JAK I also agree!

@NOSY: I know that @tess4Adam is in her 70's, and I sometimes type comments for my mother, who is 79 (80 in Oct.) She wishes there were recordings of his cruise ship stint so she could hear him do some of the old crooner stuff he performed.

I think FYE and GNT both were "playtime". He seems much more serious, natural (meaning his look), laid-back now that the tour is over.
The sophomore album should be fabulous since he has more than a couple of months to crunch it all together.

I think Adam has really grown and matured since Idol. I think like most of us in our early youth, experimented with adventure, tried new things and eventually found our voice and settled in, feeling comfortable in our skin. I think Adam has found that comfortable place. He's traveled the world, been the subject of controversy and has handled all with maturity and grace. He's lived life with incredible opportunities and monumental responsibilities that seems to have given him a sense of being wiser. I think that will be reflected in his 2nd album. funbunn40

I yield to your mother's seniority 79 sounds good to me. I join her in wishing I'd been "cruising" in Adam's waters when he was singing the old standards aboard ship .I, unfortunately was hearing mediocre music cruising in the Bahamas, Canada and Alaska....but seeing beautiful scenery.

She does know that she can hear all the long ago crooners in their prime right at her fingertips on the computor. Right? Crosby,Como,Williams and the divine Johnny Mathis (who was partially responsible for the birth of my children).

Never underestimate the power of slow dancing.

If Adam recorded an album of 40s and 50s love songs, only the advances in birth control would prevent a worldwide population explosion.

I found FYE in a shop yesterday. The "hand over face" cover and all the bonus tracks including Can´t let you go. I was stupid and ordered my CD from US, couldn´t wait till it was released here. Well, at least I got the sweet campy cover. :)

@Eva, Thanks for reposting that other link. I couldn't get it to work either, but could piece together where to find that adorable "Adam Fluttering His Eyelashes like...." gif.

Thank you!

He's just too adorable.....that's for sure.

@JAK; Yes, I know about finding those classics on the web, what Mother wants is recordings of ADAM doing them. She thinks he could probably even do "Johnny One-Note" (Mathis, of course!). Wouldn't THAT be something to hear?!?! And you are probably right; there would need to be major strides in birth-control, lol!

Your mom and I need to talk...I think I may have mentioned this before but I'll be brief(hopefully).

When insomnia clutches me I lie in bed and re-cast all the MGM musicals with Adam in lead role.
His imaginary vocals sing me off to sleep.
HEAVEN.......tell her Hi! from a crazy woman.JAK

Hi! Saw my name tag in an earlier post ... I have to bow to the woman whose mom is 79 ... she beat me by 5 yrs. .. just turned 74 on Mar. 7th (YAY! I made it!) ..... much as I like the 'oldies' ... I much prefer hearing ADAM sing songs that are fresh & new .. ala Glam style ... I have all the old days singers packed away since ADAM came on the scene ... once in awhile I'll listen to ELVIS ... Engelbert ... or old blue eyes Sinatra ... but I much rather listen to the kid with the GOLDEN voice .. the INCOMPARABLE Mr. LAMBERT!!

@ JAK, Johnny Mathis was my fave in highschool, along with Elvis, Rightous Bros.etc. Many slow dances to The 12th of Never, Harlem Nocturne and others. Even did my stint on "Bandstand Matinee," Chicago's answer to Dick Clark. Bill Hailey's "Rock Around the Clock" was a biggie! ALso the Aragon Ballroom was the place to go and the Chez Paree, which I frequented. Chicago had the best nightclubs and still is a great place to hear great music. I also frequented the jazz clubs and was privileged to see many of the greats. I just turned 70 in August, but think I'll start counting backwards! Still having a good time and am upright, but who knows for how long! Adam re-ignited the original spark and reminded me to continue to have fun and do exactly what I want to do! funbunn40

JAK here..

It's late and on an "old" page I'll chance a "remember when" comment. Beach week after high school we invaded the beaches, took swimsuits, some food and 45 record players, and no parents ,we were good kids and parents trusted us. We did crazy innocent things. Had a Rock Around the Clock dance contest...I danced 17 consecutive times before I gave up...fell asleep before contest was over. The winner threw up all the next day!

In college my sweetie and I (he's my husband now) never had any money so we would park in my driveway and play "our song" Love is a Many Splendored Thing on my record player on screen porch. Well dark night and kissing till our lips fell off went on for hours....song repeating and repeating. At midnight porch light went on and my mild even tempered teddy bear of a dad came out ripped the record player out of the wall and threw it out the open door halfway across the yard.

Ahhhhh those were the days. I wish the young people of today 70 years of memories like we've had........Now back to Adam.......
