Adam looks absolutely GORGEOUS. Love the hair, the edgy clothes, those eyes...he is the total package. And with his height I am sure he stands out wherever he goes. It's no wonder everyone wants to be photographed with him or wants him to appear at their event, show, club,etc. Are there enough hours in a day for him to be seen at all these "happenings" and still have time to write for his new album? He has to keep those creative juices flowing. And he has to autograph all those pictures for the donors to Charity:Water that were promised. Adam is a very busy man, but I enjoy the opportunity to see any new pictures of him at any time.

Adam should be asked to do a runway show. A number of celebs do them particularly for a charity event: women wearing red for heart disease as an example. He would also be the perfect model for a print ad. How about for Maserati, the car he said he would like to own one day. I'd love to see him come out with a men's cologne. All the major entertainers seem to have one and you hear of a new one practically every week. There are so many other things I could mention, but I know Adam's main priority now is working on songs for his new cd. But I can dream, can't I?

Interesting question about why we find Adam so sexy, and what could straight guys learn from him. If a good looking SG wore those tight pants, eye liner, gave you that sexy look, would you find it appealing? I would personally be horrified. Yet Adam is one of the most masculine men I've ever seen. It is confusing.

Adam Lambert has so many qualities that make him appealing: Charisma, self-confidence, intelligence, articulateness, sense of humor and of course that edgy style. Add these to his vocal talent and you have one masculine, sexy, gorgeous, special man. That does it for me and the fact that he is gay makes no difference at all.

Glad I'm not the only one to notice short crotches, only because they are uncomfortable. But hey, for the art, anything goes. Can't imagine seeing Adam in baggy pants. He rocks his style and shouldn't change it. Jeezesssse! I feel like a stalker tonight. Going dark now.

I just wrote and discovered the holes myself. You know when I was really young I used to wear long heavy earrings and had to get my ears surgically repaired because they completely split. He needs to be careful, but it;'s an easy fix.

Now you notice I didn't mention his outstanding good looks or his sexual orientation....

The third paragraph answers your question...that's what the average joe could learn from Adam....and no matter how average a guy might be with those qualities their chances of being liked and loved would go up 1000%.

Remember a beautiful face doesn't always equal a beautiful heart.

On top of all his great character and personality, never minding his physical attributes, there is a boyish innocence and playfulness underneath his maturity and strength. Oh, I'm sure he has his insecurities as all mortals do, but because he doesn't hide them, they seem or become insignificant. Adam's trials from being gay were also made manageable from having a strong core, bolsstered by great parents with fine values as well as great genes, gifts or strengths we are all born with, but encouraged (again) by hhis parents. The crucible from which Adam sprang was indeed great blessing for him, which in turn gave him the ability to withstand the heat and the punishment of society's prejudices against his kind. Once one has gone through the fire, as Adam has, one gains the strength and confidence that we see radiating from within, which is why we see so much in Adam that we are drawn too. He seems almost invincible, and we imagine we can feel safe in his arms. Then because he inspires this in us, we want to protect this person in return for the rare treasure that he is.
The image conjured in our minds are our doing, and depending on who we are, we see the Adam we want to see. It is something that is not so hard to understand because of the many layers of his person, the journey we've traveled with him so intimately through the past two years, and how fulfilled he makes us feel in our vicarious thrills since we've known this electrifying person. He's been scrutinized more than any public figure (note the endless number of pictures, blogs, videos, opinions, columns, words, comments) because he inspires them all, and with each piece of information about him, we continue to love him even more. How easy could it be to be Adam, to always be held up to public scrutiny and even harder, to be held up to the highest standards of behavior, artistic performance, character, appearance and demeanor? Anyone else would crumble at the thought that a million eyes are on you, not just being judged, but being hated and castigated for something you did not choose to be, but being so, must embrace it or be defeated by it.
Confidence, intelligence, beauty, wit, uber talent, kindness generosity, maturity, charm, charisma--they are all sexy, but that quality of courage under fire is rare, and so even sexier, which is why Adam will always have his legion of admirers.

I said in another thread recently that I thank the universe for the complexity of Adam Lambert... and at this moment, I thank you for the depth and complexity of your piece. I also said in another recent thread, voicing just a personal opinion and point of view (to each his own), something to the effect of Adam Lambert can be enjoyed (and even heralded if one feels compelled to do so) with no pedestal necessary, no mantle foist upon him, no special interest banner pinned to his back...and the piece you wrote expressed some beautiful notions without doing any of those things, in my opinion. Adam once said, there is not just one kind of gay person. They are as diversified as straight people and just as complex. For instance, Ellen and Portia. He also said he has a strong masculine side and a strong feminine side,which is very apparent in his looks and behavior.
Nevertheless, it is their preference, "I Was Born This Way." Fortunately for Adam,he's got a lot going for him that makes him very lovable.
