Adam looks terrific in this latest picture. Love his hair that way. Can't wait for all the vids from the concert. I am certain he will be amazing. I guess this has to hold us over until the release of his second album and its first single. Hopefully there will be lots of promos and tv talk show visits for the album in the early fall.

Sign just says festival is from July 27 to July 31---Hasten! Venue is at Tessier Beach in the mountain village of Ste Agathe.....that would be in Quebec's Laurentian mountains. Then just a bunch of ads and concert prices....I wouldn't get your hopes up that he has returned to that much loved hairstyle, I would bet my best boots that's an old photo! But a lovely one! Adam Lambert is coming to a TV near you soon, on two very different shows, in August and September.

On Aug. 7, the former San Diegan and "American Idol"-fueled glam-pop vocal star will be featured on VH1's "Behind the Music: Adam Lambert." If the show sounds like it might be just a tad sensationalistic, well that's par for the course for "Behind the Music."

A press release from VH1 includes such breathless lines as:

"With constant criticism about being too bold, too offensive and too gay, Adam Lambert comes clean to VH1 about who he really is and the obstacles he has overcome to get where he is today";

"The excitement of his first (stage musical) role brought out Adam’s wild side as he began to experiment with sex, drugs and rock 'n’ roll";

"At age 27 and without a record deal, Adam had a realization during a psychedelic experience at the Burning Man festival that if he wanted fame he would have to take control and make it happen."

We're not sure if this is an endorsement for taking mushrooms or for Burning Man as an ad hoc career guidance center, but it sounds a lot more colorful than this line from a press release about Sunday's VH1 "Behind the Music: Enrique Iglesias":

Lambert joins a group of mentors on the show that includes Brandy, Leona Lewis, Avril Lavigne, Colbie Caillat, Jordin Sparks, Sean Kingston, Mike Posner, Claude Kelly and One Republic’s Ryan Tedder.

"Majors & Minors" premieres Sept. 23 on the Hub TV Network, which is available through most San Diego area Cable TV providers. The winner will win a contract with RCA/JIve records and a "cross country live concert tour" (as opposed to one of those not remotely live cross-country concert tours).

I'm worried about the San Diego statement that Behind the Music will be rehashing gay obstacles, the sex, drugs and Burning Man "revelations" on mushrooms or other fungi.
I was hoping that was old news and concentration would be on his music. That's where it belongs now. I'm afraid this will stir up the "crazies" again who may not consider Adam a good mentor for a show with young impressionable age children. This country is full of narrow minds.
So this scares me a little. Hub is a children's viewing channel.

Please tell me I'm being a worrywart for no reason! We know Adam would be great mentoring children interested in performing...but will those who have condemmed him for discussing past

Hey, JAK. I'm always a worrywart too then it comes to Adam. I just care so much! The same concerns have occurred to me, too, but I wouldn't worry about the BTM show. I know they'll cover the gay, drugs, etc., because it's the sensational stuff, but I think they'll also move on to his music and his success. The Hub is a good opportunity for him and I pray that the haters just let him be. They've got to just get tired eventually! There's no one better than he is to mentor young singers. Each step that Adam takes, he gets further away from old "scandals." I keep looking forward and not back and concentrate on the positive, just like Adam says. So, fellow worrywart, just relax!

Okay now re your concerns, in as much as i want that phase in his life to fade away i don't think it will happen now. However, i think it could still work as a positive reinforcement of discernment, picking up the pieces and moving on to higher grounds. Nobody is perfect and to err doesn't diminish one's exceptional abilities in life. It's good that Adam was smart enough to rectify the crazy things he has done in the past, got hold of himself and went ahead to aspire for greatness. Besides he never said that he was dependent on whatever but just experimented on them. It takes a lot of courage and strength to give up those things but he did it so it's still a good example of how one can acknowledge his mistakes and do something about it. Oh JAK i'm so tired and i don't even know if i'm making myself clear hahaha. Bottom line is relax and never let this bother you again because it should be the least of your concerns. Enjoy Adam's concert and always take good care of yourself JAK :D

I still have not recovered from my out of body experience that hasn't happened since I last saw Adam live.Been walking on cloud 9 all day, hopping around all of the OOL videos, not used to feeling like it must to be high on drugs!Focusing on the beauty of this song and what a beautiful movie soundtrack it would make, maybe a documentary. So glad that Sauli was so welcomed and cheered by fans. I had some concerns over negative tweets seen before the concert from some Tommy fans and would hate to see him exposed to any ugliness, when Canada is so warm and friendly and think the negative ones were from the US somewhere. He must be so proud of Adam. Seeing him perform live has to be mind blowing for him, especially when he is the one that lives with him and is loved by this amazing, beautiful man. I can barely imagine it. Adam was in his glory, doing what he so loves to do and it had been awhile since he felt so much love and energy from so many fans.
