One of my favorite songs especially when Adam sings it live. Such passion and power in his voice! Just leaves you breathless.

When he sings in the shadows the audience is loving it and then when he steps into the light, they go crazy......

What a man

Never tire of hearing this. I am so impatient for more Adam music as I know everyone is. Roll on Autumn (fall)

Okay, where is the person who mentioned the Adam Lambert pie chart? This is the only one I could find:

Considering he was predicted to never play the Grand Ole Opry, he knocked it out of the park with that show. This song, in particular is beyond description!!!

Go ahead - rip my heart out!! Almost a year to the night..... this magical song in person. Sleepwalker is a kind of anthem and I could listen to it a million times and still be struck dumb by his voice and power.

Come on. I dare ANYBODY to put someone else's voice up against this incredible powerhouse of a singer. He is so far beyond any other vocalist out there, it isn't even funny. I know the new CD will not be like FYE, but I know it will have powerhouse vocals and fabulous heart. Can't wait!

There are not enough words in the English language to describe how this man makes me feel when I see that beautiful face and hear that powerful voice. Adam is sheer perfection! ... Adamluv

One year ago tonight I was at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville to see Adam for the very 1st time live. When he started singing VooDoo in the dark in front of that eerie night sky with the floating clouds, then the lights came up on him as he descended the stairs, my heart stopped. When Susie, the lovely woman sitting next to me, asked me what I thought, I said I can't believe he is real.

When he sang Ring of Fire, I got chills, and not just because of his glorious singing. Simon Cowell had said that he wouldn't go to Nashville if he were Adam. Well, Nashville showed Adam INTENSE love to let him know they did not care one d... bit what Simon thought. They were standing, screaming, & cheering for him. All I could think about was that June Carter Cash(who actually wrote Ring of Fire) & Johnny Cash sang ROF on THAT very stage where Adam was now singing it. I couldn't help but think, old hippies that they were, they would have adored Adam & his singing it like this.

The Ryman Auditorium is historic & an experience unto itself. It was an old tabernacle converted into THE orginial home of the Grand Ole Opree. It was much smaller than I ever expected. You sit in wooden pews. The floor is wood. There is a balcony. Over all it is quite intimate with perfect acoustics. I was sitting in the 7th row, rt of center.

The 5th person down from me toward the center in my row was Kelly Pickler. Next to Kelly was Aimee Mayo, who co-wrote Sleepwalker. Good friends, they apparently arrived in a pink limosine & were dressed to the 9's for Adam. I watched Aimee Mayo watching Adam sing her song. She was dead center in front of him, attempting to video him. She had to be thrilled. Just wow.

Adam sang an incredibly gorgeous version of Soaked that night. Toward the end of it a fella up in the balcony (who may have been a little soaked himself) hollered down to Adam "Sing it, boy!" Priceless.

There were a lot of men in that sold out audience. I suspected there were quite a few Nashville elite from the music industry there that night to hear Adam, as well.

It was the first concert where I had ever experienced people standing up & cheering through the entire thing--more along the lines of a constant standing ovation for Adam. When people started stomping on the wood floor in addition to the loud cheering, it became deafening. I never heard anything like it in my life. It was almost scary. I have 2 amazing sound memories from Tennessee. Once, when my ex-husband & I camped out at the foot of the Smoky Mountains, the katydids were so extremely loud that night they were downright deafening. It was so intense it put you in a trance. The deafening sound of cheering & stomping for Adam at the Ryman had this same eerie effect.

@ Kentucky fan, Thanks so much for your great Adam experience, made all the more special to me, as my late husband was a Tennessee boy and a real southern gentleman who also would have appreciated Adam, or at the very least would have supported my obsession! I was so glad that Adam was so well received there. I was a little concerned that so many predominant country fans might not be welcoming. I misjudged them, but seeing Adam live would amaze anyone. He's magical. funbunn40

Yep, my Favorite! I saw him..up close do this last summer..gives me chills. RCA made a huge blunder not putting this out..darn them! He looks so fierce when he does this and that long coat was beautiful.

I am ready for him to be a T-shirt and jeans guy tho. He is looking very cool right now imo. I wish he'd take guitar lessons so he could strum a few licks during a show..;)

For me, Adam is the most talented vocalist in the music industry today. He is a superb performer both musically and visually. Adam Lambert is in a league of his own so versatile and the only current artist able to sing anything from Broadway to rock. His audience connection is pure electricity and he owns the stage like no one else. Can't wait for his first single from the upcoming album and I like the new look that we saw from Moscow. And his message of love, understanding, acceptance, and respect just add to this very special young man's total persona. Hopefully with the release of his second album, Adam will be well on his way to superstardom which he so rightfully deserves.

He is the Rock God in this generation and he will prove it when we hear his first single from the 2nd album!!!!! We will rock it hard baby!!!!! Slow, fast with the swag eh!!!!!

@Kentucky Fan, thank you so very much for your review of Adams show in Nashville. I love hearing personal stories of seeing our boy in person. Was always a fan of June Carter as well as Johnny Cash. ... Adamluv

@anon12:21: So agree with your comments. I, too, liked the jeans and t-shirt look from the Moscow concert. We are all waiting for the release of his first single from the second album and I am sure there will be a spectacular video to go along with that song. He is so powerful when he does SLEEPWALKER; but then I could say that about every song from FYE. Until the new album's release, we will have to sustain ourselves with FYE and the GNT dvd and following all the comments on this blog.

Anon @ 5:26 am, I agree and a few guitar lessons from Monte would add to his "coolness" if that's possible.

By watching the videos, the Nashville concert was probably the best GNT concert. Great audience too.

@5:21 AM Not only did I go to the Nashville concert--but also the Louisville, Indianapolis (His GNT Live DVD), and New Orleans concerts--all of which were unique and utterly fabulous. But, I honestly believe the best of those 4--and one of the best from the GNT in general--was the Louisville concert. That's why I hope this site's administrator would consider posting all of Indybeck's very fine Louisville YouTube videos (to include the encores Mad World, where Adam received an elegant mascarade ball mask from the audience, and a very bluesy, sexy WLL with his now infamous mouth to microphone action:) up tomorrow on July 10--the one year anniversary of this concert.

Adam was especially happy at the Louisville concert for some reason. There were not very many children there, but there were quite a few very elegantly dressed pretty boys in the audience (some of whom performed at the nationally famous Connections gay night club close by)--so he seemed to be more freed up to be himself. He was on his game with the naughty camp (which I adore--hope he never abandons it). He was very polished and drop dead gorgeous that night. Adam was looking at a sold out crowd in the extremely gorgeous restored-to-white-wedding-cake-perfection Brown theatre, which is the venue for Louisville's opera.

Take a look at Louisville's Sleepwalker. Next to the one he did on the Leno show, I think it's his best.

P.S. I could have at least spelled Grand Ole Opry correctly (above), for heavens sakes! My spelling rivals Adam's
