Do NOT like it at all.

It seems that so many of the videos today are over the top productions for songs that are meaningless. All style, no substance. Then you look at Adele: great voice, black and white video, she's sitting in a chair and just belting out ROLLING IN THE DEEP. The voice tells it all. Don't like this Beyonce song; again big video production but not much to say for the music. Gone are the days when a performer could come on stage with a guitar or piano, maybe a small backup band and just sing and perhaps talk to the audience inbetween numbers. Everything today has to have all the bells and whistles on stage that most of the time coverup the inadequacies of the performer's voice, the fact that he/she doesn't sing very well without all the studio and electronic enhancements. I guess I have vented enough. Maybe it's waiting for Hurricane Irene to hit the area here in NJ that has made me a little bit crazy. Maybe I'll watch some old Adam vids or listen to his cd before the power goes out.

So far I've liked the songs that Adam has had a part in writing...love Broken Open, Voodoo and Strut were fun, Aftermath was touching and Outlaws of Love is a must listen on a daily basis. Some of his pre-idol music he wrote with Monte is pretty good as well. So I'm not worried that I won't like the music on his album.

The fact that I hardly ever like the music done by other artists he recommends is no problem for me. I have a pretty wide variety of musical likes myself that many of you might not like at all....rock....country....classical....Scissor Sisters!!!! See what I mean?

Well, she's beautiful, and I've always liked her sound. No reason but she reminds me (tone) a bit of Dione Warwick. However, didn't like the song. No hook IMO. Did like the voice out front, but that's been her style.

Just got round to watching the video. I think its beautiful and very artistic. Quite like the song, apart from the word you where she keeps going up high, that sounds odd. It doesn't seem the most radio friendly song though, more like chill out music.

The only song I TRULY liked by Beyonce was HALO ... Ryan Tedder is a great sonwriter .. IMO. After that ... I think her songs are written around her videos instead of vice versa ... most of them have no real substance/meaning for me. This one has left me 'wondering' what it's all about. Her voice is lovely but I don't think she is using it to its full beauty ... and that friends is JMHO!!

The divas have ruled TOO long now! OMG it's time for ADAM to get back on the scene to put some vocals, class and style back and bring the music industry alive! Sure Beyonce is cool but
she can only sell stuff when she's in her underwear and it seems outdated and old compared to younger and trendier divas on the scene. Adam should have the next album wrapped up and ready to hit the world off the planet.
Let's fact it, he can sing, entertain and infact is the full package, something that other's cannot even begin to achieve no matter how hard they try. The industry needs to embrace Adam with open arms because he will achieve megastar status when all these other so called artists will be history, and yes, it's

Can't see anything special about her, just another female trying way too hard to be sexy. I'd like to see more women like Adele who is a natural beauty with a far more talented sounding voice.

Notice that Adam's comment is about the video, not the song itself. It might be hard to separate the two, but the song is nothing, not memorable, not going to get radio play. It's a good song when you are in the mood to be with someone you love. It seems that Beyonce's last few singles really have not done well. Big production on the vids and her show. And you are right: tired of seeing her, Rihanna and Gaga in bra and panties outfits trying to sell a song. Just give me Adam Lambert and Adele and I could listen to them all day. Now these are two people who can sing.

I don't know why, because I can hear that she is a really good singer and sings with so much emotion, but her voice and style of singing doesn't do anything for me. I don't feel anything... Adele's "Someone like you" makes me cry...

Both Adam and Adele have a certain huskiness to their voices, along with the perfect pitch and clarity. I'd love to hear them sing together.

Beyonce has a good voice, can sing high and low but this song is boring, no melody at all. It does not flow freely even it showcase her voice. The video is OK, nothing extraordinary. I like Adele too but her high note always sound crack to me but she touches people's heart. Well, need to lower my standard to other singer when we have Adam, the best voice live.

WOW!!! I can see why Adam loved this song/video. It is one of the sexiest most sensual things I've seen/heard in awhile. I read the comments first and was expecting some piece of crap song and video but I LOVED it! I suppose for those who don't like Beyonce..fine, but I think she is one of the best singers out there and I LOVE her music. As someone above said, "Halo" is one of my favorite songs ever....Gorgeous.

The other thought I IMMEDIATELY had (like in the first 10 seconds of watching the video) was this: Could you even imagine Adam doing this gorgeous/sexual/emotional piece of art?? I cannot even breathe at the mere thought of it. I suppose it will never happen, because #1 He's a guy #2 He's a gay guy #3 He's Adam and would most likely be slammed and condemned for it...("Think of the children..." blah, blah, blah..) BUT I think we would all just die from the utter sexiness of it all. I don't understand why men can enjoy female singers doing this almost foreplay type of vid (phew!!) and us ladies are stuck with men in flannel shirts. Just sayin'....Oh, and I loved the song too.

I would guess one of the reasons Adam loved this video and song, other than that he likes Beyonce and he is an artist with a discerning eye for beautiful art (which in my opinion this is..) is that Adam is at the beginning of this love relationship with Sauli and this song is probably one that describes his feelings..Also good "mood" music, if you get my meaning..Just imagine Adam and Sauli with this song in the background..Well, anyway...Its getting hotttt in here!

Beyonce is a megatalent. She has an AMAZING voice although I haven't bought anything of hers. She is gorgeous and it is cool that Adam see's all that in her too. Her performances on award shows etc are visually stunning not to mention her beautiful voice.

I see that Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry have been deemed threats to "cultural national security" in China. The Ministry of Culture has ordered music download sites to delete songs by these pop divas. Do you think it will make any difference to them, moneywise?
I wouldn't miss any of them.

@glitzylady when I saw Adam's tweet about this song I thought of the same thing as you do. Adam and Sauli listening to this song and having a time of their lives. I love Beyonce. I wanted to see her in Vegas and with my sister-in-law we were willing to pay $700 to go to her show but couldn't find any tickets. I post her live performances on my facebook and I always get tons of comments from my friends. I bought her latest album 4 and I love love love it. She is one amazing performer.

I certainly hope that when Adam's album and first single are released, that all the people he has supported and tweeted about are there to support and praise him. Can't wait to see the video that will accompany the first release. Such anxiety and anticipation, almost as much as waiting for this hurricane to reach NJ. But one is extremely good and the other terrible. WE go from a drought with Adam(a lack of new music) to a flood with hurricane Irene.

At Last is a beautiful song even I could sound good. Yes, she sang it beautifully, but it's a classic, most of Beyonce's music is light weight.

I love Adams voice the fact that in many cases he sounds better live than on a recording. Don't like Beyonce, too common and not that much different to most of the female singers of today, no style or class.

What ever happened to singers like Aretha Franklin, Shirley Bassy, Celine Dione, and just recently through Adam I discovered Nika Costa, wow! can these women sing, their brilliant and sexy but in a very classy way. The female singers of today all sound and look the same to me.

Video is good, but this song is not doing me anything. I like some Beyonce's music thouh. Listened to Anytime You Need a Friend by Mariah Carey and now I feel uplifted. Yep, that's what real music is about.
