Oh come on now - what an idiot! I specifically remember at least one interview where she commented on him not winning. Seriously?!?! But, I still love her, just went down a few notches on the intellectual scale.

I also think that a lot of people believe that Adam won American Idol. He was the best performer on the show from the first note he sang. If you ask who actually did win, most people would not know it was Kris Allen. Haven't heard much from him or about him lately. And after Adam's second album comes out, most people will not even associate him with the show much longer. It's time to move on and appreciate him for the truly talented performer that he is.

Adam did win...he won in every way that counts. Kelly is the only other idol I like. He mentioned in an interview his respect for her vocals. Love that she mentioned him. Makes me love her even more.

I see these links to voting every now and again on this site. What is so important about Adam winning a poll? I'm asking out of sincere interest. I adore Adam, but I don't get it. Does this benefit him in any way? Does it help popularity? I'm never inspired to participate in these voting things. Maybe someone could explain why I should take my time to do this (not that it's wrong, I love that people care and want to vote) I just don't understand any practical benefit of it.

OMG Adam Lambert won hands down ALL over the world. Kelly, did well but she couldn't stand close in the presence of the talent of the Glambert....not for one second.

Kelly needs to stick to country and she'll do OK. To be honest though, anyone can sing country even Danny Gokey. Adam soars in a different world. (thankfully)

Time has a way of righting the wrongs and people remember what should have been because it seemed such a given. Adam won. No doubt.

@anon 4:15, I think Kelly sings pop, but it doesn't matter, pop, country, Daughtery? rock, which is like Nickleback, which is starting to sound like country to me,which is against my music religion, so I don't listen to it & Adam doesn't like Nickleback,& I used to & haven't since Adam Lambert!!

The winner isn't always the one who got the trophy. Adam won. Some other AI alums are doing fine. Good for them! I'm not a country music fan, so the AI alums who do country don't do anything for me.

ADAM creates an electric buzz, an excitement, a sexual tension, an air of anticipation, just my entering a room. And he has the vocals to back it up. Anyone who's ever worked with him FEELS it. They SENSE it. They SMELL it like a rich perfume. We VOTE to keep the buzz going, keep the anticipation and excitement high, let the world know he's relevant and on the rise. I know the polls seem silly and can be tedious, but they do make a statement. It keeps him on the radar.

He's always been a winner in my books. I think the record business was much different when Kelly won Idol. So much for thinking past winners/contestants keep up with current Idols. I do think Adam has some handle on who is who in the Idol world.

I am so over Idol for Adam. Who cares who is Idol of the week? Adam's been away from Idol for two years now. He even said in St. Agathe something about "being on a reality show." He's put it past him. Let's do the same.

I love that people love Adam for who he is - a winner with fabulous vocals, and a worldwide star. I do admit that Kelly was my favorite female "winner" from Idol. However, I love Allison more because of her beautiful soul and amazing vocals.

I have a little confession, this is the first time I've seen Kelly Clarkson in any interview, and the first time I saw her perform was on AI10 with some guy in a big hat, and I happened to see an old music video of hers on MTV a couple of weeks ago, that was also the first time. Good that she thought Adam won though, means he made a bigger impression on her!

It's alright Kelly because a lot of people also assumed that he won being the most exciting and fascinating contestant that AI has ever had. I will never get tired of saying this having watched several seasons since Carrie's. He did the most unforgettable performances that stage has ever seen and his impact as a performer is truly incredible. I believe this is a common mistake. It even happened to Simon in a different way LOL!

Her comment has nothing to do with intelligence - she knows Adam and Daughtry didn't win, but they should have. She just wasn't thinking about the Actual winners of those seasons.

I think Kelly has been pretty busy with her own career to keep up with all the Idol Chatter like the fans do. It's good that she puts ADAM in the Idol Winners category rather than "ADAM Who?" And voting is important to me for ADAM to maintain his RIGHTFUL place at the TOP of all the polls ... that's why I VOTE! If it seems unimportant to others ... so be it ... I'm just glad that there are others who feel as I do & lend their support no matter how trivial it may seem. Thanx!! to all my fellow Voting Glamberts!! Light 'n Love
