I want hear more about he's single,is it international release?

Yes I am sure it is avalable on international itunes, but some countries probably dont have physical single CDs. We dont in NZ.

About promotion for "Better Than I Know Myself":

***Adam said that he will be filming a MUSIC VIDEO
early in January. It takes at least a couple of
weeks to edit and complete a music vid..so the
January 31st date most likely coincides with the
premier of the music video..That will really get
the ball rolling..videos are really important in the
promotion of a song....

***RCA has told radio stations they will be
"IMPACTING" (promoting) the song beginning
January 31st apparently meaning they'll be giving
it a big PUSH..

***It's rumored that Adam will be doing some
promotion in the UK in January.

***Hoping to see promotion in the US soon as well
..TV shows, both interviews and
performances, and radio interview,etc..maybe
a live performance or two..(The band has been
practicing..really GOOD news..hmm, I wonder..)

***The song is doing okay considering there has
been relatively little promotion in the US. Its been
sent to radio stations and has gotten radio play..

***Request, Request, Request..."Top 40" stations in
particular...

A personal note: I am really getting a bit tired of hearing the repetition of the negative comments regarding how badly one or two people here think this song is doing..Think about the reasons I've given above..A large percentage of the public has not heard it yet...but those who have, including those who are not necessarily fans like it..And radio DJ's all over the world are very excited about it..Adam's label has a plan to promote it..I for one am thrilled that they released it a little early. I love it and am waiting patiently (sort of..) for the day(s) when we once again hear and see Adam on the TV and the radio again...It WILL happen. And as I noted above, everyone can help this process along by respectfully requesting "Better Than I Know Myself" on your local radio stations. I'm thinking that part of the reason that they are waiting, other than the fact that the music video is not existent yet, is that they will be promoting TRESPASSING at around the same time..There is a plan.....for sure.

Glad to see a positive post about his success on Twitter. I for one find his tweets smart, interesting, fun and informative. He is third behind those powerhouses. That is a success story on its own for superstar Adam. The music is going to be huge as well.

Adam Lambert's new single Better Than I Know Myself was released digitally earlier this week and is already selling well, not only in the U.S., but also abroad. Immediately on the day of release, the single hit #1 on the Finnish iTunes chart. This doesn't come as too big a surprise, given that Adam is a well-known artist in Finland both for his talent and because he is dating a Finnish celebrity. The single is ranking high on charts in other countries as well. In addition to Finland, it topped the overall Top Songs chart in both the Hungarian and Estonia iTunes stores this week. It also debuted at #1 on the "Top 25 singles" chart of Music Daily in Hungary. Additionally, the song cracked the top 20 on the Top Songs chart on iTunes for both the U.S. and Canada. Plus, Adam's new single is not just taking over sales in Europe and North America. Better Than I Know Myself has hit #1 on the Japanese Sony Music Shop's list of International single CD's pre-sale ranking.

Although Better Than I Know Myself was released digitally, there has been no official promotion for the song yet. It was sent to radio stations this week, a few of which have played it several times. However, Adam has yet to do a full promo tour, including interviews and television performances. This will probably happen in January when the song is officially added to the play lists of radio stations everywhere. Given the single is doing so well both in the U.S. and internationally, it's is a good sign that this will be a chart-topping hit in 2011!

Merry Christmas everyone!

I'm still in Lapland enjoying the white scenery and drinking mulled wine with a bunch of friends in our rented cottage. We've been doing lots of outdoor activities and stuffing ourselves with good food. This morning I discoverd the dress I was supposed to wear tonight doesn't quite fit after all the eating we've been doing. So I've already decided; come New Year and I'll be on a diet ^_^

PS: Adam's new song has been played lots on radio these past couple of days! Yay!

Besides requesting BTIKM on radio,we need to play it MORE on the Vevo you tube version to bring the count way up..to a million maybe;we can do it(OR @ least 1/2 million) before the REAL video comes out next mo.;also need more great positive comments.most are pretty good,but some are not that great.I LOVE the song, & go there @ least everyday( & play it multible times.Listen to the words to the song,& it seems like some go "perfecty" with what happened in Finland in & outside the nightclub.I think Adam may not like Sauli's outgoing & playful personality,esp in clubs when both are drunk..Some have even called the whole thing a publicity stunt;I hope it wasn't,& don't think so myself.Anyway,everybody have a great holiday,& let's hope BB & Sauli are getting rest,a great meal,& then Adam needs to come home to LA,& promote BTIKM IN THE US.We miss you!

I know you are right. Thank you for explaining it so eloquently. I was hoping, but was afraid it was too late.
I didn't want him placed in a specific genre like that. But I guess it is just a name I better get used to. You are right, moving away a bit from that was a good career move. So, Glamberts and Glamily it is. Adam does have great fans.

Thank you, 9:02! (and a few others!) I've felt kind of blue the last day or two after the recent events in Finland, but I am so glad that others are so optomisitic, just like me! The song is strong, the airplay will be great. We haven't seen the REAL promotion start yet, and when it does, we'll see our ADAM! I have bought my share of BTIKM and Trespassing. I have made some radio requests. I still love him as much as ever. Unlike some here, I think Adam has been working hard planning a video, getting the CD done, etc. I don't think he's been sitting around doing nothing.
