Whoa! This Impacting Pop certification on Adam's works and mastery is very very precise and impressive, clearly listed with all the facts and figures and a star-studded cast of singers, songwriters, producers; with Adam leading the pack...excellent certification!!

Hey 7:55 -- I have been surfing the web tonight and can just find raving comments about Adam Lambert's new song. All critics are delighted with this song and are all saying that it bodes extremely well for his 2nd full length CD, being released on 20 March.

By the way, selling 4.6 million CDs, DVDs and ringtones in the US alone is what I call a GREAT seller in this difficult period in music. He's one of only a handful who has done so lately!

It's looking like the "sophomore" hump for Adam will not be much of a problem. After that, the doors will open more widely for him.

Sorry, can someone explain what "Impacting 'Better Than I Know Myself". Means? Is this a good thing???

bought the song on itunes and the album on Adam offical site. Excited about the specials that may come with it. My Husband heard the song on the radio here in Reno while driving today. How fun this ride is going to be.

Hi10:27, my guess is this... the word Impact tells me RCA has made special internal arrangements with radio stations, on Jan 30 to launch BTIKM with a big bang...aggressive radio airplay so the song will have full impact on listeners and it'll continue from then on. :)

So, my assumption that what he is saying here is Jan. 30th is when the full "Adam Storm" will begin in the US in earnest. A Blitz of TV performances, interviews, radio station interviews, advertisements, all aimed at getting Adam into the collective "mainstream" conscientiousness. And strongly "encouraging" stations to play Adam's song: a LOT. And I'm assuming not only to promote BTIKM but in preparation for his "Trespassing" album coming out on March 20th. I think RCA knows they have something really special and potentially huge with Adam's new music and they are going to do it right this time. I've heard that Adam will be in the UK (and possibly Europe??? Haven't heard that but ???) in January according to various sources in the last month: Shoshanna Stone, his rep for his management company, Outside Edge, in the UK, has hinted at that, as have UK DJ's. I'm also personally thinking perhaps a second single, maybe "Trespassing" title song, or another track, will be released around the time the album is dropped. That's just a wild guess on my part, but it would make sense...to me anyway! That's the way music seems to work anymore: keep those singles coming with the highly successful artists (ie: Gaga, Katy Perry, etc.). Sounds like they are thinking Adam is going to join them in that category..."Global Superstar Adam Lambert" has a nice ring. : )

This is AWESOME, I'm SO happy to read this and hope its absolutely TRUE. Proper promotion and marketing is what Adam's music needs, the BIG push to get his voice HEARD on radio AND TV. I'm soooo spyched to look forward to the promo I hope he'll be doing on Letterman, Leno, Ellen, etc, and let's hope some prime time tv.
Dancing With the Stars and such ... pay attention!! By then he should be prime to promote whatever latest release from this album. Let's make it HUGE!!
UGGHHH.... waiting till JANUARY 30... that's the hard part, but yahoooo when it gets going. Hope he gets the kind of backing and promotion that Gaga, Katy Perry and some of the others got. (Really interested to hear what he created with Bruno Mars...)

Get him promoted, showcase that incredible talent, the best voice of this generation.

So, it looks like January 30 is when the "Adam Avalanche" will begin! I hope to see him on the BIG network shows, like Letterman, Leno, Ellen, and the others. This is where he needs to be! And not just to sing, but to be interviewed. He's a dream interview. I pre-ordered my Trespassings and need to order my single. I'm so happy!

A few reviewers have said that the CD has lots of great songs besides BTIKM, so I agree that we should be seeing another single released before the CD comes out. God, how I wish Adam had had different management for FYE. This new aggressive promotion is fantastic.

Can't wait for the Adam avalanche/blitz to begin in January. As previously mentioned, he needs to do promo on all the major talk and entertainment shows to perform and to be interviewed. Airplay is crucial to making this new single a major success. We have been blitzed recently with Gaga, Perry, Rihanna and Bieber. Move over...now it's time for Adam Lambert, the best vocal talent in the music business today(along with Adele). Happy Holidays everyone!

Just brought BTIKM on iTunes and Trespassing Deluxe on Amazon. Now I'm going to AO to pre-order it again! I'm so excited it's hard to concentrate on RL! Desperately waiting to hear it on radio here in L.A. please, please, please Ryan Seacrest!!! RCA is gonna do it right and it's about time. Adam deserves total support from RCA and his fans. The Adam Storm is just beginning. Yayyyyy!

Hi8:35, I'll just try and make it a little clearer if I may about impacting. By the way, it's a very good question, first asked by anon10:27 and now by you. Yes you're right it has been released on radio already, but Impacting BTIKM means a special arrangement by RCA with radio stations to give it top priority to get radio airplay and maybe on other music channels as well. I believe these are business deals more so than just requests by lay people who love the song, which is just as important. I didn't hear about FYE being impacted, so probably that's why in didn't do as well as it could have, and as a result so many beautiful songs on FYE got 'lost'. So as in all commitments, a start date has been fixed for BTIKM, Jan 30, for special maybe even worldwide promotions, eg. by Sony. I can see you are pretty anxious; not to worry, Adam's BTIKM will sail right to the top and so will Trespassing, with all this impacting. :)
