wonderful intervieew. i could listen to him all day. he certainly has a way with the english language and could be a very articulate talk show host. he looks good-less make-up and beautiful to behold. you go Adam you are the best. he is my favorite along with adele. too bad they couldn't do some kind of a duet together. it would terrific.

Great interview, good questions and Adam's personality and charm just oozes everywhere LOL! That face and smile are so mesmerizing too. He's very intelligent, intuitive and articulate. What a guy!

So glad that he is going for the "less makeup" look! Have thought for some time that the "glam nation" look might be turning off prospective fans who loved the voice but not the look.

Oh Sweet boy we already know you are impulsive. You read like an open book that's why we love you so much. Always gives great interviews. March 20th can't come fast enough.

Adam's charisma really shines thru in this interview, not to mention his intelligence and looks. I feel so lucky to be a fan of Adam's.

It so bugs me to hear comment after comment about "less makeup...blah blah blah". I love Adam. I'll take him any way he wants to present himself. Note people: he is totally and completely wearing a good amount of foundation here. We all know why, let's leave it alone. It makes him feel good. In every single one of the moments he has presented himself publically that drew comments like "Oh love the less makeup blah blah blah..." he was ALWAYS wearing a fair amount of foundation. SO WHAT!! It is part of who Adam is. I don't know the dude other than what he allows the public to know, but I'd venture to guess the foundation isn't going anywhere anytime soon. SO WHAT. I know this is a blog to put forth all our opinions, I understand, but sheesh, he is almost always wearing foundation, so what, he's gorgeous and hansome and talented and special and to die for any way one slices it, who cares about makeup!!! All you guys are great, Adam's fans, for the most part, are so great, don't mean to be ranting, but gosh darn it with the "less makeup", which isn't really even the case half the time it's commented upon. Love Adam any way he chooses to present himself professionally. Incomparable talent. Glad to be a fan. Glad he found his public stage to propel himself into my life.

Less makeup is good! Sorry if you don't like to hear that ranting one. We are talking about the heavy eye makeup, not the foundation. People didn't buy the last CD because of the cover art. Glam is gone now. We should be called Lambert Nation or Trespassers btw. He is evolving and most of us fell in love with the less make up Adam on Idol.
It means more fans too. Win, win. A la natural...he is perfect as is.

WE WILL NEVER GIVE UP THE GLAMBERT NAME !!! It doesn't matter how much makeup Adam wears - or doesn't wear. We are Glamberts forever.

@anon 1.40 pm, people aren't saying NO makeup, they're saying less makeup, I'm sure most fans realise he's still wearing some. Personally I have loved his look lately, although I do miss the eyeliner, it always makes his eyes 'pop' so much.

HK fan - What the hell is that on his eyes if not eyeliner? Just more subtle and not IN YOUR FACE. So beautiful.

Adam was asked a bit back about changing the name from Glamberts to something else. He said something like "no! my fans are the Glamberts and I love that name"
Besides Glam doesn't necessarily mean glitter and rhinestones. It means "glamorous". Adam is glamorous...stylish...fashion forward...

In my opinion Glam is not only about heavy makeup:)

Lighten up @1:40pm. EVERYONE is entitled to their opinion, whether it agrees with your opinion or not.

In some ways, Adam is mature way beyond his 30 years and in other ways, he's still boyish. I love both ways and everything in between.

Adam Lambert is my favorite of all times he didn't wear much make up on idol I never missed a show he was on have them all recorded I love the make up alot of eye liner with or without does not matter loved the cover of gnt if the cover turned people off then they was not worthy enough to listen to his music any way that was there loss. Adam will always change his looks in some way love him accept him as is thank God for him. illinois Fan from day one.

@2;08 Well, internationally people did buy the FYE album sending it platinium in many countries and people adored the cover. It was the US that had trouble with the whole ordeal and for why we are still trying to figure out. When a superstar is in your midst you give him your support not negatives.

'Foundation' and 'makeup' seems to be the topic of this thread. Adam will always be a Glitter God no matter what. He looks devine in makeup, beautiful. The more natural Adam is equally as stunning. Why oh why is it such a big deal for people? Adam is Adam and his all about his music!

FYE did not go platinum in the US because America is not open minded like other countries. As far as his look, love all looks, but natural is my fav. He said he was hiding behind all that makeup. Thx for explaining about "glam" and its other meanings. I was never thrilled with that fanbase name because I felt it pigeonholed him into a certain genre. Now I understand "glam" better - stylish, fashionable rather than a music type. He did say it was more of an attitude also. We are stuck with the name it seems. And the rants are really annoying. Most fans are respectful when commenting, even when disagreeing but others are not. Watch your tone plz.

Being supportive and a big fan of Adam's doesn't mean that you cannot have an opinion. Just because someone is stating their preference of his looks doesn't mean they are negative. Yes, Adam is the most exciting superstar to come out in decades. So do not ever doubt my love, support and admiration for him. I am not being negative; just honest as he would want. Allow people to state how they feel without getting attacked. If my opinion is respectful, then replies should be too. We all love Adam here. Talent, personality, looks...the whole package. This man is it. We all agree.
