@12:37- very heartfelt story, can't believe that was one year ago today- something you will never forget( I just can't imagine it) Glad you got through it, wish you left your tag though. I agree Adam and his music does inspire people- no question- Fingers crossed for #1 spot tomorrow.

That wasn't a bad interview by no means, but that one AMA performance did hurt adam and it's sad that he's aware of it, but I really believe with this album - that will all change if the radios just get his music out there!!

@ Renee.......Hi.....JAK here

Joplin, Missouri right? I had family there and they were fortunate to come through safely.

When you've been through something like that you never forget the date! It's burned in your brain.
My tornado, so to speak, was April 12, 1945 in Muscogee, Okla. I was only 10 but remember every detail. Of course the date had a greater significance. When we first heard the warning sirens to take cover we were gathered around the radio, we had just heard it announced that President Roosevelt had died in Warm Springs, GA. I thought the world was ending.

I think the whole country has heard how brave and industrious the people of Joplin have been.
I'm glad that Adam's music has been able to lighten your heart.
We're always here, drop in more often. <3

Not really a review of his album. Also, the AMA was brought up why??

Renee, Bless you, I hope your life is becoming easier again now, you sound like a wonderful brave person.
No it wasnt an interview and sounded like the girl didnt know much about Adam at all. The AMA "thing" will always be there, it is part of Adams professional history whether for good or bad. He has come to terms with it as we need to.

Renee:

Being one of the older Adam fans who post here, I was devastated to hear the news of Joplin being so ravaged by that HUGE tornado. The number of lives lost is such a tragedy and something that will stay with the survivors all their lives. I wish for you an easier road ahead.

As a child, my family took many long road trips and I remember when we went through Joplin my brother and I started singing "Get Your Kicks on Route 66." Funny thing is I wound up living in Anaheim and my brother in Cucamonga.

If you have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about, Gooogle Route 66 and you will be able to listen to the song that takes you on a road trip through the many towns on Route 66 (the only way to get from the midwest to California) in the 40's and 50's. The song was a big hit back in the day.

Again, I wish you and yours nothing but the best. And congratulations to your 2012 High School Seniors who just graduated one year after their School was demolished and has not yet been rebuilt.

Strange interview! At lease he did some research, more than I can say for some reviewers.

Hi Trudy,
Welcome your name stood out to me as this is my daughters name.
Congratulations to you all young and old who have been thru this hell. Our Christchurch earthquake was bad enough, people are still suffering and not back to the life they knew. So hard.

An OK kind of interview with nothing detrimental said except for dragging up the AMA thing AGAIN ..... that is so years ago news.
