C'mon. It's not that deep. They put out multiple versions of the CD so that people will buy more CDs. It's called marketing. Record companies do this. But, of course, I will order the UK version when it's available, because I want ALL the Adam music I can get!

Just went out and bought a copy of Instinct magazine at B&N. Only one copy was left on the shelf. It's a very large store. The article was excellent and of course the cover is to DIE for.

And speaking of buying magazines, DRG - I just purchased the AI People magazine for $12 (!) that I thought would have a lot of Adam in it and was VERY disappointed. Should have looked before I bought. They concentrated mostly on his controversy (AMAs) and not much else. Waste of money - ugh. I will definitely be going to B&N to buy Instinct!

Thank you, DRG. Of course, this selling of more albums is a factor which I did not overlook. I asked the question because I was musing over whether it just may be deeper -- if there could be any reason, other than the obvious (like the dictates/rules of the number of songs on an album in the U.S., the costs, or any other peculiarities of the process).

Yep, the various versions/releases of cd's is just a money making thing. That's absolutely no slam to Adam or any other artist. That's called: it's a business :).

I wish every song in all the foreign markets would be available on one CD, maybe calling it the ultimate deluxe edition, instead of us in the US having to buy the different foreign versions just to have each song. Maybe that's their marketing strategy, hoping that we will do just that.

There are 3 entries for Trespassing on amazon uk so which one is the deluxe version with the extra bonus tracks? Amazon UK doesn't list the tracks.

Tresspassing is #23 on Music top100and #18 on Pop top100 on Amazon UK
@10:33Pm I saw only deluxe version of Tresspassing on Amazon UK. Deluxe version has different cover that regular.

OOps, sorry for thr double post.I'll be ordering the UK version and the Japanese version when they come out. Thinking about my previous statement it sounded like a complaint which really isn't my intent( so far 6 deluxe cds ordered and questioning my own addiction) The bottom line is supporting Adam and his rise to the top of the foreign markets and supporting the efforts of our Lambrits and fans everywhere that all want the same thing, Adam to have the appreciation and recognition that he so richly deserves

OOORRRR is the UK edition just one album....no deluxe??

Maybe contacting Sony in the UK will answer the questions or Adam Official will clear it up.Tweeting Adam may not be productive because with so many followers he may miss it. Are the tracks listed anywhere where the orders are placed? I'm sure someone in marketing will clear it up.

@Urethra_Franklin I'm really confusing about your comments. DId you pre-order Tresspassing deluxe from amazon?Didn't you see that it has 15 songs? UK version has 17 songs. So, there are two songs more than in US deluxe. Also, didn't you see that deluxe and original album have different covers? So, UK version of Tresspassing album has same cover as US Deluxe but includes 2 more songs.

6:19, the UK Amazon does not list song titles for either price point of Trespassing right now. Maybe they took it down.
