Adam is a truly Beautiful person-
his persona, his ability to articulate intelligently all the time, his work ethic, his genuine kindness, his strengths, his artistry, and without saying-his Voice- I could go on and on. He is
someone to look up to and try to emulate.
I am so proud to be a BIG fan of his!!!

Well said! I agree:)

I couldnt have said it better Anon 2.34.
I think Adam has done a wonderful job just by being himself. He has realized just by his visability he has been landed with a responsibility and is handling it with grace and truth. I couldnt love him more.
Of course having the voice of an angel or a feirce rockstar is pretty appealing to.

I've said this many times before, but here it is again: Is there any other gay performer who gets asks to talk about this so much? And if there is, how do they answer? Personally, I can't think of another mainstream gay celebrity who gets asked to talk about these things. . Adam handles all this with such heart and soul and feeling. He feels a responsbility to be honest and to do something positive for the LGBT community. He is an incredible role model simply by the way he conducts himself and acts so professionally. I love his description of gay stereotypes and how progress takes baby steps. Love how he handles all this, over and over and over and over and over again.

Anon 2:34 PM....Beautifully put! :-)

OT- Please vote "Billboard midyear poll"- Adam deserves some recognition- as the radio stations are not recognizing what we all know. Pretty Please!!

Anonymous said...

Adam almost sings when he talks ,,so beautiful to hear him speak..yes I am obsessed.. btw he sings like an angel

Anonymous said...

agree w/ above comments, such a deep, thoughtful response. Adam is definitely an intellectual.

Anonymous said...

Just have to say, thank GOD for Adam Lambert.
We are fortunate to have him in our lives, at this time.
Hope he realizes how special he is because, he truly is one in one hundred billion.

Anonymous said...

the above comments could have been written by me..as I agree completely with all of them...my thing is..I do not think that a person's sexual orientation has anything to do with anything really..aren't we all just human beings inhabiting this planet?? we all feel love, pain, fear, happiness, sadness..no difference that I can see..no more than a person being attracted to someone that another person may not feel any attraction to..at the end of the day..a person is just a person..struggling to find some happiness in this life

Anonymous said...

My God, Adam is SO articulate and expresses his feelings so well. One can only imagine the constant battle he has with, as he says, being the 'safe' gay man or being really true to himself and being 'fierce'. As with all the other comments above, I just love this man for his honesty, courage and how he inspires so many of us to be better humans by following his wonderful example. I respect him so much -

Everyone who posted, beautifully said! I feel the same as all of you so will not repeat. @3:14 Yes we NEED to vote on that Billboard poll for Trespassing! Please everyone vote and keep requesting NCOE on the radio. It is a great song that fits perfectly with radio and don't understand how the plays are decreasing.

Anonymous said...

Adam's NCOE MV is no. 8 on Vietnam's Top 20 MV:

Anonymous said...

the poll is not over at Q102 Ultimate fan poll I think tomorrow, anyway Adam is dropping fast!!!
we need to keep voting, someone said it is over, it's not........

Anonymous said...

The Q102 poll is just for fun. It will not do Adam any good or benefit. The billboard poll will give him recognition for his album if he wins. Does anyone know when the billboard poll ends. On Q102 vote NCOE on the top 10 at 10 countdown. That gives it radio spins and you can request on their media base form from anywhere!

I believe this role has come upon Adam at a very good time in his life. He already experienced the wild rock &roll life style in his earlier years and now has a strong emotional tie with Sauli allowing him to become that role model thrust upon him. Understandably reluctant he is finding his way regardless because he knows the need for a positive personality is greatly needed. He is not perfect but he doesn't need to be. He just needs to be himself.

The whole friggin world knows Adam is gay....enough...can we just ask musical questions......YIKSSS

So sick of the BS!

HK fan said...

sigh...I just love listening to Adam talk....I agree wuth all the comments on here.
I've never seen an interview from another popstar or filmstar that is as articulate as Adam.

Yes I;d love to see Adam win the q102 poll, but I do think the Billboard one is more important. Several interviews and articles have picked up and mentioned about Adam being voted Billboards sexiest man in pop, it can only help.

Urethra_Franklin said...

4:08 think you missed the point of the video. yes the world KNOWS...the world doesn't accept it or for lack of a better word "allow" it unless as he explains "its safe." THAT is the point of the video. If we could just put all the ignorant people of the world in a huge pit and throw a bomb in there...wed all move on to "just musical questions." ;)

Anonymous said...

Some of the fans are the worst with keeping the 'gay' issue alive!
OK we all know Adam is proud and gay so lesve it there and let's get on with the music.

You know who I consider "unsafe people"? The crazies like the Westboro Baptist Church creeps.

I ordered two UK Edition of Trespassing album from Amazon UK store and it came up to be $29.64 for both. I paid $14.82 for each album which includes shipping and handling. I did the conversion myself, BTW, from UK Pounds to US Dollars.

If you want to support Adam's album on UK charts and have the other bonus tracks you can order here:

As usual, another articulate, intelligent and honest interview with Adam. We see genuine kindness, understanding and charm in him. There are very few individuals in the music business who can put two sentences together without mumbling and fumbling through an interview. Adam Lambert puts them all to shame. It has not been an easy road for him in music and with the constant reference to being gay, it obviously has made it much more difficult than most of the other performers. And yet, we see Adam conducting himself in such a positive, thoughtful manner, that you can't help but like him for his heart and soul. Let's focus more on the music, his amazing voice and put any references to being gay to the side. It should be all about his talent and not his sexual orientation. I am also so proud to be a big fan of his.

Anonymous said...

I believe Adam will always have a musical/acting career of some kind because he is just too talented and handsome to be ignored. However, I think his ship has sailed on being a pop star in the U. S. Look at his sales numbers....127,000 so far. That is not a strong start I don't care what anyone says. No. 65 on the ITunes pop chart after only a month and fading fast. That "gay icon" label is costing him big and that's too bad. It's distracting from the music and keeping many from giving him a chance. Outside America is a different story but here at home...well, don't kid yourself. Except for the diehard Glamberts, the casual fans have moved on to the next big thing.

Anonymous said...

Thank you @5:51 PM for the info on buying the UK version! I just bought two copies also and will enjoy my new bonus tracks while supporting Adam!

Anonymous said...

I hardly ever see other gay artists asked these types of questions. Adam is really honest and generous with his time BUT I really think that after the end of the current promo tour of TRESPASSING, his people and himself should insist that questions be asked about ONLY the music. He's been answering orientation questions for over 3 years now. At the time of his next album or at the end of his current promo tour worldwide, Adam and his management team should insist that DJs, TV hosts and journalists MOVE ON TO HIS MUSIC, AND ONLY HIS MUSIC.

Anonymous said...

Trespassing is flopping big time. That is all I have to say. Yes Adam is gorgeous and very articulate and he should be thinking about some acting roles to support himself in the near future.

Anonymous said...

Who says he can act? Remember he was an understudy as an adult on stage. We know he can sing, he should stick with what he does best. You can make a very good living as a singer without being a #1 recording star.

Fans seem to expect miracles from Adam. He doesn't have to be an icon, top of every poll, have platinum records and be #1. He's not a God. He's a person who hopefully can earn a living singing and live a happy life.

Don't push so hard. Some of you make him sound like a failure after 3 years in the public eye.

Anonymous said...

some funny people on here... oohh, my side aches from laughing so hard... flopping... yes, I'm flopping around rolling around in laughter on my floor

Anonymous said...

Actions speak louder than words! If you have not voted at least 250 times daily on the billboard poll, you are not doing a good job in supporting Adam. Place those votes now! Please?

Anonymous said...

6:58Pm

I would not dare say what you just stated. Trespassing is still about to be released in other places.
Playing in concerts is how ADAM will make his money and he can fill up concert halls without question.
So, don't worry, be happy if you are a true fan.

Anonymous said...

Adam might need to reconsider being the Queen frontman. If he can sell albums overseas he better stay over there and do that. I think Trespassing has about had it. You just can't do so much promo in gay clubs and all interviews about gay gay and expect the mainstream to buy. He took to long to come out with new music and then it is a gay album. He and the label should have learned from the FYE. If he had told the media like Sauli did they would not keep asking him about such personal imfo.Hope he gets it one day that his community is not going to embrace him. They certainly have proved they are not going to buy the music @ 127,000 sold. So sad for such a talent,
probably the best out there.

Anonymous said...

Well Adam fronting Queen for these few shows is pretty darn iconic if you ask me!Just be patient Adam will get all the recognition he deserves,it just happens to be a bit of an uphill battle because of so many ignorant close minded people. I believe that Adam is so positive and will never give up and I for one will never give up on him. Now back to voting on the Billboard poll.

Anonymous said...

7:49 how many times are you going to write that same comment? We read and comprehend pretty good on this site.

Anonymous said...

'Fierce and strong' and 'power to the people' ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL the way, because that IS ADAM! He has made leaps educating so many and let's be honest it's mainly just pure ignorance and lack of education in upbringing that makes people so hateful. Adam is an incredible person, a beautiful man and he deserves respect and yet he has to put up with such crapola from so many. It truly is time for equality in this world and time to shed the Dark Age so many live in.
Plus time to concentrate on the music for goodness sake!

Anonymous said...

ok I am going back to Billboard now to finish off my votes for the day and check out that UK link, I like that Map song!!!

Anonymous said...

You cannot put a good man down, not ADAM.
If you get impatient and you think he's going nowhere, well find someone you can be happy with. We fans are very happy with ADAM and what's going on with him and his career and his life. We don't need any negativity.
ADAM has a destiny to fulfill and right now there's a struggle on the way to that glory days. Don't be blind to all the blessings that have been showered on ADAM. There's a reward at the end and ADAM shall be triumphant. And we true fans are to share the sweet smell of success.

Anonymous said...

I ordered 2 cd from Amazon uk-now I am ordering more!. I love those two bonus song By The Rules and Map. C'mon people. These two songs are worth the order anyd of course the whole cd is #1 perfect

Anonymous said...

@ 8:29 pm Holy Moley

Aren't you getting a little carried away?
Fulfilling destiny?
Glory days?
Showers of blessings?
Triumphant reward?
Sweet smell of success?

And tell me, what constitutes a true fan? Delusion?

Take a couple Xanax. He hasn't been chosen Pharoah or Emperor or
Lord of the Rings or Messiah.

I was voting on Billboard for 2 hours straight. Came to check in.
What the hell is a "gay album"? I don't get it.

Anonymous said...

who left the freaking troll gate open again? lol This place is crawling with them.

Anonymous said...

A "gay" album, I suppose that would be The Village People!

Anonymous said...

OT. I know Wikipedia is supposedly full of mistakes but I thought Adam's FYE album finally hit platinum in America. Why do his sale numbers only show 800,000+? And why aren't those 800,000+ buying his second album? Did they not really like the first one? And where is everyone for Charity Water? Can't even hit $100 grand this time.

I adore Adam and his music but the same ol' same o' gay topic is beyond the pale. He needs to promote his MUSIC not labor on about his sexual orientation. Nobody seems to ask Sauli about being gay so why is it always Adam. He seems to be treated by the media as a freak and bombarded with the same gay questions. Do Clay Aiken and Ricky Martin get hounded with gay quesstions every time they're interviewed? I don't follow either of them but perhaps someone else might know.

Anonymous said...

I really don't think Adam sold 800,000+ albums in 7 weeks last time did he? No he sold them gradually over a 2 year period and you will have to check with them if they liked the album or not. I loved mine. I think Adam raised the bar to high with the water charity. We had just had a fund raiser and I was saving my pennies for the TP'ing album. What we raised was pretty good tho I'd say. Anonymous said...

A gay album? Well, Adam has indicated that Trespassing addresses some gay issues. Less talk about gay issues is more! Maybe that's all the media are interested in i.e. Adam being gay and his music is just a sideline. Grrrrrr .... however, Adam is very articulate and it's always a joy to listen to him, no matter what the subject may be.

Anonymous said...

I read recently in the media that almost 2 million FYE albums have been sold worldwide.

Anonymous said...

Our country makes such a big deal out of sexual relations. It's puzzling and I recently learned not really the center of everyone's existence. My aunt and uncle were killed in the crash of their small plane recently and I was talking to my dad about what a perfect couple they had been for almost 40 years. Theirs was a great romance. My dad said, yes they really loved each other, but youknow they never had sex. I couldn't believe it, but he said it was true. They had been childhood friends and couldn't imagine living their lives with anyone else even though they didn't have sexual feelings for each other. Everyone who knew them considered them a perfect couple and I guess they were, they were happy together all their lives.

Anonymous said...

9:38 I think interviewers see Adam as a very comfortable person that is gay. He was out of the closet at 18 and that was twelve years ago when things were even worse than they are now.He has seen and done things while others were neatly tucked away in a closet. He usually talks about his music too.

Anonymous said...

Here's a Polish interview that has been translated into English .... worth reading ....

http://www.twitlonger.com/show/i1679l

Anonymous said...

@9:39pm

I did not mean to suggest that Adam would have reached 800,000 in sales in such a short period but that he appeared to have established a sizable fan base. My question on liking the album was wondering out loud. And as for Charity Water, it was the fans' incredible generosity that raised the bar and undoubtably, Adam's expectations of us.

And 9:25 p.m. I, for one, am tired of seeing people with differing opinions, NO MATTER what they are, being labeled trolls.

9:56 thanks for that link. Some of it made me laugh, I can't picture Adam answering some of those questions like that. I think a great deal was lost in translation.

Anonymous said...

10:12 or added in translation!!! LOL

Anonymous said...

9:30pm why so negative tonight?

Anonymous said...

@10:37pm

Because I am human and am feeling sad and frustrated for Adam. He would understand. Light and dark moments....what Trespassing is all about. This will not last. I'm an optimist by nature. Tomorrow is a new day. Goodnight.

OMG, had listen to this interview twice. Adam is truely amazing, he can put a word on every emotion. What a man. Come I want to hug you!

Anonymous said...

I don't remember any other gay performer ever being interviewed as much as Adam about being gay....maybe it's because he's smart, articulate, can carry on a conversation and he's easy on the eyes

Anonymous said...

After Idol, Adam performed for a GLAAD Awards or dinner. After performing and as he was walking off stage he made a statement. Does anyone remember what he said....I think it was to try and embrace all types of ??????

Urethra_Franklin said...

4:25 its because the others either came out way after their BIG success so no one cared at that point (Elton, George Michael, Boy George...) --or-- its because they arent mainstream enough for interviews to be seen or noticed by the general public. Just as an example, Scissor Sisters are ALWAYS dubbed the "gay band." They have always been out and unapologetic. But no one in this country knows who they are so their interviews are never seen by anyone except major fandom...like me. Thats it in a nutshell.

Anonymous said...

wow, he did talk eloquently about this whole sexuality issue... One day he should be an UN ambassador or so...

Anonymous said...

7:33AM

I second that. ADAM with his eloquence and being so articulate should be a UN Ambassador. Just can't think of what for now. . .

Anonymous said...

I agree with both of you that the amazing Adam should be a UN Ambassador...LOVE HIM

Anonymous said...

Totally agree with Anon.2:34pm
You took the words out of my mouth!

Well said Adam!
Adam is one of a kind! I too am very proud to be his fan & I want to see him happy, be successful which he's so well deserved & what a talented & artistic human being!!! Stay as beautiful & organic as you are Adam!!!

Anonymous said...

@4:31 a.m........JAK here

As Adam was leaving the GLAAD Awards stage he said "my mission is to not only promote visibility in the gay and lesbian community but also diversity".

It's a good idea to remember that in the straight community as well.
We certainly are a diverse bunch.
