Adam's life has had so many full circle moments. I think and hope the universe is on his side and he gets the idol gig. Idol would be idiots not to hire him. The man butt woman butt must have been a bit uncomfortable for Adam. He really felt bad getting that one guy wrong. Adam is so sweet and understanding of people's feelings.

I'm an Aussie and I feel a little embarrassed and uncomfortable about this game but Adam was such a good sport about it. One never knows what to expect with some of the Aussie DJs but Adam always seem to be up for whatever they want him to do. At least there was no gay issue here. Being gay is no big deal in Australia. We have Aussie gay celebs and entertainers and generally speaking, people don't give a toss about it and that's the way it should be.

@7:19 How wonderful that Australia is so open minded and don't have issues with being gay. I wish the U.S., well some people in the U.S. anyway, would learn from your country. YES please let Adam be a judge on idol Adam would be great and I think it could really help him boost his career. People have preconceptions about him and they would see what a wonderful person he is. Of course a great platform for singing his music. Look how many times JLO performed last year. A bit over the top but it got her career revved up again.

Keith Urban Addresses American Idol Judges’ Rumors

Keith Urban confirms that American Idol honchos reached out to him regarding joining the judges’ panel:

Keith Urban has finally addressed the rumors about being asked to judge American Idol. Speaking on an Australian radio show, Keith confirmed he has been asked, “They did reach out to us. But they have been reaching out to a lot of people, so I think they are just figuring out which way they are going to go too.”

If he was offered the job, would he take it? Keith had this to say, “All I can say right now is that I’m trying to make an album and it’s strange how these opportunities all come in one big fell swoop. But my priority right now is to just make a record and that really has to lead the charge for me.”

Aussies know how to have fun. Adam is a good sort all the time. He is the only thing that would drag me back to watching Idol.

I was flipping channel and saw a reality singing show on Much More with the following judges: Joe Jonas, Gloria Estefan, John Rich and Nelly. It's called The Next . . .
They're in Baltimore at this episode and announced the winner from among four contenders. So, I guess they go from state to state? Not sure, but sounds like it.

Over at Showbiz Tonight just now, the topic was the Idol judges, the departure of JLo and the signing up of Mariah.
One guy mentioned the entrance of Nicki Minaj to the panel and that "Mariah hang up when told Nicki will be in."

I would think feelin' up on butts would make him happy. isn't he an all out butt kind of guy?

I think he would have been smiling more if there were more firm and tight muscle in the buttock area.

Nick Jonas Willing To Dish “Tough Love” to Idol Contestants

Nick Jonas reveals, vaguely, to the Huffington Post, that he’s still in an “ongoing discussion” with American Idol for a judges seat, but it’s got to be “right on both ends.”

“[There's been] lots of speculation … it’s something I would like to do if it was right, but it’s got to be right on both ends,” Nick told me on the set of “New York Live.” “It’s an ongoing discussion, but as soon as we know if it’s right … we’ll see. But regardless of whether or not it happens, my most exciting thing at this moment is being back with these guys.”

“I would be the youngest [judge], but I’ve also been a professional musician for about eight years of my life,” says Nick, who isn’t shy about discussing whether he is tough enough to judge others.

“That’s a major question: Would you be okay to criticize? If I can help someone be better, that’s the ultimate goal, not putting them down or making them feel irrelevant. As much as we are going to get along, there still is a bit of tough love there, which is important.”

Since Idol hasn't started how do you know Mariah will be a diva and show bad behavior, she may be fun and delightful. She is certainly talented and experienced. Give her a chance before negativity begins.

two complaints: I cannot stand either Nicki or Kayne..both are disgusting!!! but, if that is what the Idol people want..go for it...second thing..Adam always refers to himself as being "different"..when to me (and I've been around a looong time)..he comes across as very normal...what about himself makes him feel this way...anyone have any suggestions as to why he keeps saying he's "different"...

I'm glad Adam got to meet Blake. However, I was really wishing that someone would arrange for Adam to meet Liam (the young man who broadcasts 1 hr of Adam's music every Sat night). Liam has been doing this for years, but he has never met Adam.

ADAM is different in so many ways compared to his fellow artists. But I think he says so himself for these reasons:

He doesn't have handlers to fuss about him everywhere he goes.He travels by himself without bodyguards. He picks up his own baggages and pushes his own cart at the airport. He does everything by himself and does not want to be fussed about. He shops himself and does not rely on stylists alone although he has that. He makes decisions about his career more on his own and not rely on agents. He really has no demands unlike other divas do when they perform. He is his own make-up artist like when he arrived at the set of PLL.
He remains simple and humble and it is not about himself.
