ADAM is already in LA early this afternoon per his tweet.
Over at MJsbigblog theyre saying that TMZ's big announcement of SOMEONE coming back to Idol is Jermaine Jones who briefly joined his Top Ten alum in the tour. LOL!
Is that really all?

I watched American Idol every season and don't even recall a Jermaine Jones. Big news...really?

so disapointed, this must be another gay show in W. Hollywood. I was hoping it would be something we were all excited about Not just some last minute "Let's put in Adam" at the last minute. :(

I guess this is Adams big surprise job in September, that he couldn't talk about. Bummer :( :(

Jermaine jones got diquaified from AI beacuse he had a run in with the law & failed to tell the show so they let him go legal matters any thing Adam does I am a fan he is a hard worker that gets very little credit. My computer is going crazy not letting me type right.

It got lost in translation and was tweeted as he has JOB in September which he cannot talk about.

8:55 the Idol was Jermaine the guy that got kicked off last season for non disclosure. He came back to be with the Idols on tour or something like that. Nothing was said about Adam , it wouldn't be that simple.I don't know where the big surprise from Adam stuff came from, a total rumor.

From that article in Hollywood Reporter, it says that Idol judges will only be needed by late September:

"We'll know soon enough as Idol auditions in front of the judges typically start in late September. X Factor season 2 is set to premiere on Sept. 12."

My crystal-ball says it's the Idol job; Adam used big block letters referring to the STUFF and the word, broad to emphasise it. But even if my crystal-ball doesn't deliver, whatever the STUFF is, it will be comparable. Since this is a restructuring of Idol to save the 'sinking ship', they definitely need someone who knows the ropes extremely well. Adam is the only one who has been through the whole process, from being judged to being a judge/mentor. :)

It's TMZ's announcement last week that got some fans here excited when TMZ said someone is coming back to Idol this week when we all expected Idol judges would already be revealed by Fox and the timing of ADAM arriving Monday night.
But now Hollywood Reporter says that the judges are NOT needed till late September, so I guess, there's no hurry for Fox to make that announcement yet.
And the surprise actually we all assumed we will be, because of the timing of TMZ and ADAM's flight especially when we thought he cancelled an interview with Byron in Oz.

ugg so we are back to square one.

This show Adam is doing does not mean he might not have idol. Good for him doing this show,it will be fun. Idol has not announced anything and Adam said he has to wait for the green light to tell us something. Can't remember which interview,but there is something coming. Just be a bit more patient and leave any negativity to yourself!

I'd say the time-frame still stands because the Idol judges may be needed in late September but these judges need to get together for preparations working as a team; a sort of short intensive overview, working for the first time as a team; probably covering a wide area like critiquing/mentoring/selecting etc. Putting up such a show to millions of viewers worldwide is no small matter. :)

You know, its fun to speculate on what Adam is doing next..especially since he's not saying : )) He just said he's doing "STUFF" and we all ran with it..as did the media. If he doesn't get the Idol gig..there'll always be something else. ( But I'll love it if he does..)....

I'm glad Adam is doing this gig in West Hollywood..It'll be fun for him..and at the end, he can just drive home..A rare treat for him I bet! No longer half a world away from home...and loved ones...

One thing about the roller coaster ride on the Adam Train...at least the crazy train always stops with everyone coming to our senses. Whooo. Thank God for Team Glambert to pull everyone together, myself included. What a joy ride!!! And I didn't have to leave the comfort of my computer chair.

It seems a little odd that RCA has not booked his tour yet. There must be something in the wind. Brian May was in New York today. Prolly not for Adam, he has his fingers in many pies. Matinee originates from Ibiza. This is mainstream gay friendly dance party. Nothing wrong with that. I was more worried about Burning Man, it is less mainstream.

The poster presumably featuring Adam, is accurate in one particular aspect, too bashful for me to describe...lol! But the hair is rather way off the actual; should be silvery-blond and more gravity-defying. The headphones, relevant; muscles too voluptuous, lol! Blue eyes and stare, okay...lol! We all know that Adam likes to have fun and for him this performance at the LA Main Event is a gig he will enjoy and probably see many friends there. He's been on this promo tour for Trespassing and this will give him a chance just to have a good time and let loose. It would be exciting if he announced a Queenbert cd or dvd of those concerts he recently did or if he were to become a judge on Idol. Either one would be a boost for his career. Then there is his next single which we should find out about in Sept. It might just turn out to be an amazing month for Adam and his career. As far as a Trespassing tour, isn't that dependent upon album sales, digital downloads, etc. and general interest from the public in him and his music. The money has to be there to put it together and an interest from the public to attend those concerts to make them financially successful. I guess time will tell what is in the future for Adam and his career, but I would think it is all good.

Ann Marie 10:52, Adam has always said that the promo tours that he has been doing would take him into the new year, along with other events large (queen) and small like the one he is doinfpg this weekend.
He said that he would be touring but not till next year. He will be back to Australia this fall and on and on. So, probably mid to late 2013.

Do you realize that neither Adam nor any of his family would be caught dead at the Republican Convention. They want to reinstate Don't Ask Don't Tell, enforce the Defense of Marriage Act DOMA, which Obama is wisely not enforcing and they want to kill all chance of Homosexuals ever being able to get married and be recognized by the federal government.

How much do you love Adam? Why not give him a chance with another Obama administration. Some progress has been made and if Obama gets ANY cooperation from Congress gays might actually be able to enjoy full civil rights.
Not to mention that women might be able to hold on to the civil rights they fought for and won.

Don't make up your mind till you educate yourself on facts.

My grandsons are old enough to make their own decisions & if there is any counseling needed they have pretty darn smart PARENTS to guide them.
