OT: K. Perry turned down a 20 M $ deal to be a judge on AI. Said it's not for her right now. Mariah got 18 M $ deal! Woops. Everybody's applauding her move, saying that AI is on its way out and that the judges are has beens who want to make a comeback.

Adam seems so happy right now in his career. WHY would he want to join AI? For the money? That's not everything in life. He should do a worldwide tour with QUEEN, do his own TRESPASSING tour as well and add a few gem covers like this one.

Waaaa...I wish he was singing this to me. hahaha

I love this redition of BM song. All these stories about AI judge are so funny. I am hoping Adam gets the job, it may be on the way out but as of this year it is still here.All Adam's mini managers need to take a break. lol

ha ha If Adam is an Idol judge I can see number 7 on that list coming into play already.

Great video. I hope Adam gets the AI gig. It would help his visibility. He won't do a Trespassing tour for a while and with queen nothing is for sure right now. Though I think they will work together again. Adam can perform on AI and get more people buying and downloading his songs and hopefully more radio play.They will see what a wonderful and intelligent person he is and would make a great judge. The money could go for his Trespassing tour also.

Once again, there are more pluses than minuses to being on AI. Maybe the show is on the way down, but it still gets incredible ratings and the exposure is valuable. Could open other doors for Adam. It's not like he'd be doing it for a lifetime. It's not even a whole year. Look what it's done for other artists sales, etc. If he doesn't get it, well, at least he got the cred of being a contender. He'll be fine, either way.

OT: Apparently keith urban is a done deal (aren't they all though. my guess it is mirah, adam, keith and nicki m (which she alone will lose alot of viewers , just aweful) Keith will save alot of the country viewers (mostly who watch) mariah (well respected) and Adam is a wildcard choice- can go either way with the public. I do believe this will so help is career and so I'm praying for this to happen.

JAK here....My great 'reveal' was anticlimactic! No fun at all! When I told my sweetie that the 'jazz' song I had played for him last night was Adam he just peered at me over his reading glasses and said "how long have I known you?"
I knew I was in trouble...I said "58 years ago last week was our first date."

So of course he was on to me the whole time, he knows me too well.
He just said "let me know if Adam switches to jazz and I'll listen to him.! He is an immovable object just like our #1 daughter. He only listens to jazz, she only listens to rock, fortunately #2 daughter shares my wide appreciation of music from opera to funk!

I personally feel if Adam released this cover he would gain, maybe double his audience of fans.

My final say about Idol 'Is he Isn't he, Is she, Isn't she'?
They want to spice up the panel and pull in more viewers...4 judges is too many, that would take up too much air time, 3 is just right. First chair- Adam Lambert, experience with being a contestant, knockout decorative and fantastic personality and voice. Second chair- the queen diva Mariah, in the business and big leagues for years, decorative in an overblown way. Third chair- Keith Urban, has years of working hard to make it big, personable and really yummy, cute Aussie accent and yet another pair of really nice blue eyes.

I think they would draw in viewers
and the fact that our Adam is controversial would be the spice to once again put American Idol in the ratings race........JAK

Katy doesn't seem to have opinions. I don't get why would they want to pay her so much.

She's adorable and has a huge fan following...and has parlayed a so-so voice into the top pop position, why wouldn't they want her?

People don't envy Katy or Nicki. Mariah, and if Adam was there, would get the hate because they have more talent. It is as simple as that.

Katy and Nicki are somewhat stereotypical and perhaps easier for fans to identify with and copy. Mariah was more extraordinary when she was at the top. Again, just my opinion.

Out of subject. Adam got question about new single.The answer was that everything in RCA hands! This is ridiculous! Does it mean that RCA make their own choices of singles? Also, does it mean that RCA included on of the best songs of the new album Runnin in deluxe version of Tresspassing? So, Adam, this answer explaines a lot of stuff

I hope there are no bonus tracks on the next album. Problem solved. I totally understand if Adam is tired of hearing why can't a bonus track be the next single. Contact RCA if you have something to say about the single.

For selfish reasons I would love to see Adam on Idol because I would see him twice a week. However my heart says that is career should be first. I look at Adam Levine and Blake Sheldon and it made their careers sky rocket; so who am I to say! All in all it is over analized by the media. What Adam wants is really what I want if it makes him happy. He is young with alot of energy and I think he can handle alot....We shall see right?

Adam said the single they choose is team work. When it comes out is in the hands of RCA. Runnin is one of the better songs but not the best IMO and everybody has an opinion.

1:50 damn I knew Adam and RCA were out to sabotage this album.

@2:20 PM, what are you talking about? Why would RCA want to do that? They put a lot into this album...Bruno Mars, Nile Rogers(sp?) and others. They want to get as much return on the investment as they can. They've definitely made bad choices, but I don't think they were intentional.
I've head haters say that RCA is going to drop Adam since the album is down 70% in sales in comparison to FYE. I say Adam should drop RCA. They could have done a better job.

Don't forget that they are supposed to be revamping AI so 4 judges shouldn't be too many for what they intend to do whatever that may be. Just hope there isn't infinite voting...so that what happened to Adam won't happen again.

Why the hell should they drop Adam, RCA, he was no. 1 in Japan when he left both song and album. I am pretty sure his sales in most cases abroad are. Wry good. If he sold 10O,000 the first day in Russia, first day it came out as was said by a Russian person he probably sold at least a couple 100,000 there alone. You forget Adam is a world wide star not just an American star,Ike Kris Allen who sold 11,000 is first week and is. Of a world wide saler, they have not dropped him yet, anyway. That is Adam us doing great world wide, after tour even if does not get idol he will be fine! I think his sales in most places abroad are quite good! I remember same bull on FYI until he went on tour! Sold great! I made a ton of typing mistakes above sorry! Brillant club which was full of adoring fans and heaps of media.
Adam blew it out the water and Tommy, Isaac, Ashley and Brian were awesome. The night should never hae ended because it was pure and utter brilliance.

When he mentored on Idol Seacrest asked him if he covered an Elvis song what would it be.

Adam said "Cant Help Falling in Love With You".

That would melt my knickers!

Elvis' "Can't help falling in love with you" has always been my favorite song of his and it would be great to have Adam do a cover of it. I also like the idea of him with kd Lang singing"Cryin". Kelly Clarkson has been doing covers on her concert tour and Adam sang all those songs during Idol so why can't he do a cover of a song once in a while. Adam can sing anything and my ultimate dream would be to see him on the Broadway stage either in a new musical or a revival. I'd pay anything for a ticket to see that. Right now we need to see him making the rounds on the talk/entertainment shows beginning in Sept. to promote the new single when it is released.
