I love it out here! I love the way of life, the attitude is super laid-back and positive.
Your first album showed more of your rock-star persona…
It was dictated by the music I played on [American Idol]. And I really wanted to get my feet wet and try on the persona of a rock star. This one, Trespassing, is a lot more personal.
You’ve used the term stankface when describing the new music. Can you explain its meaning?
If you hear something that has a good groove or is really funky you make face do this scrunched-up look. That’s stankface. The album is very stankface-y!
Rolling Stone magazine said you sing like “Zeus in a thong”. How does that sit with you?
I was, like, thank you! I don’t know what the thong part is about. Do they mean sandals?
What’s up with your blond hair?
I just felt like it. When you do the same thing every time it’s boring.
Your new tattoo means “music soothes the savage beast”. Does it really?
I felt like it made sense to me. When you’re performing or listening to music, your brain goes quiet. Music is almost a form of meditation. It balances. It locks you into a mood.
You had a cameo on Pretty Little Liars. How was that?
Great! It was a Halloween episode and I was playing at a party. I was a glampire. I would love to do more, if it’s the right thing.
There’s a lot of buzz about you doing American Idol…
I think I’m being considered. I’d love the opportunity. It would be cool to come back.
Thoughts on Nicki Minaj doing Idol?
I don’t think that’s been confirmed.

Why?
Christian Aguilera:
Sings her face off. I love her voice.
Jennifer Aniston:
Loveable. Girl next door.

Quirky. Very interesting to talk to. He’s out there, but he’s very entertaining.
The Situation:
I hate that show [Jersey Shore]! It’s a waste of time!
Jennifer Lopez:
Gorgeous, glowing, stunning, and very graceful.
David Beckham:
I think every man envies him, every straight man especially. He’s got that cool it-guy thing.
Taylor Armstrong:
Is she the one whose husband died? What a shitty situation.

I love that he hates jersey shores!! Also kim K- why- love that to. Love adam's way of thinking! Taylor armstrong is that beverly housewife actress that husband committed suside I believe. Another stupid show!

WTH I sure hope that wasn't my run of the mill comment removed @ 2:59? I read the article and it said Adam thinks he is being considered for AI and I said something like Lawdy Miss Clawdy ( from Elvis ) it is not a good sign that he just thinks he is being considered he should know more by now.Just worrying he doesn't know more. Wow that is a pretty gross and shocking comment. lol
I also loved his response to Kardashian - I ask myself "why" whenever she or any family member is mentioned. BTW, she recently put in a request for a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and drum roll please ..,................ they turned her down. Well, duh? I guess when you sole talent is a sex tape and a hugh ass just didnt cut it. Aint life unfair!!!!! . . . Adamluv

I'm not going to be too disappointed if Adam is not picked as a judge on Idol - the show is losing steam - this may be their last gasp and do we really want Adam to be remembered in the year it went under??? It has been searching for the momentum of Season 8 - NOT gonna happen!! Adam Reigns!! Sure there have been others with amazing talent who have gone on to great careers but NO ONE caused the Tues night panting and the Summer tour sell outs. Gee - do you think I will EVER recover?? NOPE - don't want too!!!
