I don't think I did ever hear Adam sing Fever with such power. I loved it! His voice was superb during the chorus he sang while relating with Terrance..a great dancer, I do agree!.

Is it just me or did Adam outdo himself here? I think he was as good here as he is with Queen.

On another note I trust Adam's decision to have Jonny in the act. Jonny may not be as good a dancer as he could be but Adam may have Jonny and his other friends around him for reasons we do not and could not understand. In the long run Adam's ways is working for him for he is the best and we know that.

Terrence is professional and Johnny isn't. I've tried really hard to give him a chance, but he's too distracting on stage with Adam. He's like a scene stealer, or attention seeker. As for Tommy, he's getting better, but still not top level. On the whole this concert is one of Adam's Top 10 concerts.

Wow, loved Adam's performance of FEVER. He raised my temp as I sat watching it. His voice was amazing and he had some great dance moves. He seems to be more comfortable on stage moving around and interacting with the dancers and the audience. Maybe he was thinking of Sauli as he sang the song.

Yes that is what bothers me about Johnny also. Thank you

It seemed to me in the videos showing the audience reaction to AYGGMY, many that were seated finally came alive and got off their butts and moved. IMO Adam always gets this reaction when he sings rock. . . . Adamluv

agree johnny should go, makes performance look amateurish and his constant touching adam is like pawing him. distasteful. i keep waiting for adam to call quits to
johnnys behaviour. but will he?
this needs to go, he needs to go, terrance knows where to draw the line being provocative. i personally think adam would be wise to give ashley more attention. she has attractive stone face like Cher when non reacting to Sonny, that would bring some humor to stage. our gorgeous adam being ignored!!!
stage dynamics need re worked before next set of performances starting in february. adam needs to look at bali and vietnam videos objectively. he is of course marvelous singing but act is not professional.

4:08 and 4:45

Right on!!!

The dancers are superfluous to Adam's performances but it seems Adam likes to have people around him when he's performing, when he doesn't need anyone around him to perform brilliantly. Ashley is just gorgeous and I've seen him "play" to her at a few concerts but he probably prefers "playing" to males.

He obviously prefers it, I wonder if audience does?

Bieber and One Direction are on the move, passing Adam on the Popcrush polls for album and entertainer of the year. Please vote as often as possible. You're allowed once every hour per category. Thanks for the link, anon1:00PM! I also think Terrence Spencer is a strong, precise, excellent dancer and became a big fan of his on the GNT, but Jonny to me is a distraction, so effeminate, flitting around the stage, almost like a gay caricature. I know Adam takes good care of his friends and includes them, giving them work and exposure, but this is a business afterall, one in which he needs to broaden his mass appeal, keeping the focus on the music, especially the masses in the US, who aren't as sophisticated or liberal. On the other hand, if he's happier with his career on a smaller scale with his present core of very dedicated, supportive fans, that may be the road he takes. The choices are and always should be his. JMO I'll always be an obsessed fan and my heart skips a beat whenever he does Fever, actually anything he sings.

I love Terrence and Johnny's addition to the performances.

Not many mentioned Tommy from Vietnam. Darn he was amazing on that guitar and his looking pretty darn dapper thesedays.

I loved how Adam commanded the press interviews in Vietnam. He ruled for sure. The Kpop girl tried but couldn't come close.

Also agree with some of the comments about Jonny's performance, but agree most of all with funbunn40's comment of: "but Jonny to me is a distraction, so effeminate, flitting around the stage, almost like a gay caricature." But also agree with the fact that decisions are and should be Adam's. I'm sure he's gotten some feedback about this on his twitter, so if he's good with both male dancers, then I guess we should be too. After all, it's Adam that we watch, right?? L

It's kind of difficult when Johnny is clinging to his leg or groveling at his feet or flipping a hip at him or prancing in high heels. It's too too much, I find myself never watching those videos that Johnny is in again. I watch the ones without him many times.
I shouldn't let him, but he does spoil those songs for me. I should think he would be offensive to some gays watching.

Tommy is looking better, though I'd like to cut his hair. He is sounding better, though he is still only an adequate guitarist, nothing exceptional there, I think his playing will always be lacking fire, it's bland like he is. I do not say this because I dislike Tommy, he's just invisible on stage to me.

I think this would have to be one of Adam's best concerts he was simply amazing, loved hearing him hit all those high notes.

@9.49 pm
I follow Adams twitter a lot, and I haven't seen any tweets that mention the dancers, good or bad....

I don't see anything but Adam when be is on the stage. They could drive a bus across the stage and I wouldn't notice. I think those "distracted" by Johnny still have some homophobic issues they need to resolve.

Anonymous said...

@8:22 PM, because this is an Adam's fansite, NOT Tommy's. He's a band member just like the rest of the guys.

Anonymous said...

@4:33 AM, Playing the homophobic card is like playing the race card, Played Out! If a bus is in front of Adam, then how can you see him unless you have x-ray vision like Superman. Well, the rest of us folks have normal vision, and Johnny is blocking the view. Straight or gay, what Johnny is doing on stage with Adam is distracting and disrespectful to Adam's relationship with Sauli. Sorry, Johnny needs to go bye bye.

Anonymous said...

I think Johnny is trying to be funny and entertaininge but it's a failed mission.

Anonymous said...

Johnny isn't even a fairly good dancer. I wonder why is he here??

Adam may consider changing his stage show if his management puts a lot of pressure on him and feels that he needs to change it to increase his popularity and marketability. They certainly are the ones who promote him and get him gigs. He doesn't HAVE to follow their advice, but they don't HAVE to promote him either. Adam seems happy with this stage show as it is right now. Don't worry, though. It will change again, in time. All depends on money. Bottom line.

I think Johnny should tone down the swish, but I don't mind the dancers in general. Adam must think they add interest on the stage. I like it when the three of them do an actual coordinated dance sequence. I'm not nuts about them, esp. Johnny, kind of fawning all over Adam's body. A little of that goes a long way. Other big acts have lots of dancers in the background with REALLY exaggerated movements. But a large group of dancers is less personal than just two. J and T's dancing is upfront and obvious. It really doesn't bother me like it does some of you, though.

DRG (Adam on stage alone is always my choice!)

Anonymous said...

Adam alone with band way in the background is my preference.

I hope RCA will make a judgement on the current show situation, Adam's judgement is not always the best. The type of pre idol shows he was in may be normal to him but not to vast viewing audience. Zodiac for instance. I know, it was a bunch of artists with free expression and little if any sexual boundaries, plus his gay club appearances. Isn't that Johnny and Terrance dancing with him on various fan videos. First one I ever saw was backed by Aerosmith's Dude Looks Like a Lady!
Good choice, it did fit the sexy moves they were making.

Something kept Adam from wider early success for 7 years, it may have been his choices. He is not infalible and does make mistakes from time to time, we all do, but his career mistakes have put a lot of rocks in his path to a more accepting audience . Friends or not, he does not need to sabotage himself. Look how long the damn Adommy crap has lasted. Now we have Johnny-gate!

@9:16 AM, couldn't have said it better myself. Totally Agree!

Tommy did an amazing job.

@12:44 PM, Tommy did an okay job.

OMG, I just watched it. That was Terrence and Johnny! I remember watching it and I hated it.

I don't mind having dancers, I liked them in GNT, and he doesn't use them on every song. And I like Terrance, but Johhny is just not a dancer, he just moves, he looks so untrained and unprofessioanl next to Terrance.

But I have not seen any comments, good or bad on twitter about them.

So jealous of that Aria chick! I would love to have Adam on his knees in front of me. Only I wouldn't were an old prom dress for the occassion. She needs to up her game in the wardrobe dept.

@9:16 - Agree 100%! You are the true Voice of Logic!!!!

Anonymous said...

Yes, Adam has planted the obstacles to his peak of success all by himself from the very start of his career. And yes, his past endeavors with Zodiac limit his audience acceptance.

Anonymous said...

Well said 7:16 and Adam continues to plant the same obstacles today.

I appreciate the gay relationships on stage since Adam is gay but I think he should be careful not to be raunchy or surround himself with talentless people since he says he wants to have greater success.
