This is great, cool. Congrats Adam. Well deserved.

I hope it gets some relevant mainstream entertainment news coverage for the music in addition to the rest because I think Trespassing's "funk" element and dance/funk vibe was so fresh and engaging and downright hot!! Other artists will, and have already, released new music with a "funk" vibe (won't put out any names ;), trying not to trash any other artists when keeping it uplifting for Adam) inside the context of Pop and Top 40 and theirs will get instant radio play... so just hoping "Shady" get some mainstream entertainment news coverage, that's all, :). Absolutely loved Trespassing's sound, feel, vibe!

Things with Adam just keep getting better and better. I would imagine that this and the Gladd nomination are very meaningful to him. He is spreading his wings and letting more and more people into the many facets of his personality. He will never be for everybody, but for those of us that are devoted followers, we know he is a complex, spirited, kind, smart, talented gem of a man. Being a fan has brought a lot of joy and new interests into my life.

So beautifully said carolynj. I only pop in and out of 24/7, and I am aware that you've only posted with a tag fairly recently, but I always enjoy your posts when I come across them. Thanks for sharing :).

Also, if anyone is interested - I read where this event was hosted by Rose Perez and Toure, and I believe, not positive but I think, Toure is the guy who interviewed Adam on FUSE music network a few years back. Toure is on MSNBC now but I thought he seemed to like Adam imho, and just thought it's interesting how things come full circle and all that... blah blah blah... sorry if I bored you :).

I'm confused. Is this an Adam concert? I want to go since I live in the area but the ticket price is a bit too much for me since I'm a high school student lol.

If this is a Adam concert, I will go but if it's only a concert to honor Adam, i will pass.

Anyone know?

Rosie... not Rose. ;) Luvs me some Rosie P. MGF

Below is the site, and they are showing the picture of Adam as the "We are Family Unity Award Honoree"

So happy for him, that's why we love him so much. He is so much more than just a entertainer and eye candy. He is only just starting to make his mark on the world.

Hope Neil can attend this with Adam, good room for him to work :), he needs a political media job :), as well as I'd guess Neil is so proud.

Did y'all see the "Chic & Hip attire" line... made me giggle... always fun to see where Adam will go with the fashion

Adam is being honored..and will be performing. Its not an Adam Lambert concert as such tho. A very special occasion to be sure. I'm wishing I could go..(and I'm thinking about it...) Because Adam performing is Adam performing.. :)))) Same as VH1 Divas: not an Adam Lambert concert, but several songs performed by him. All good!!!

Can we tweet this news to E!, Billboard, AP, Rollingstone, Reuter, People, New York Times, and other important domestic and abroad news agencies to report this?

This a great honor and congrats to Adam. He truly is one in 100 million not only his beautiful voice but his kind and beautiful soul bringing everyone from all walks of life together.

Thanks for the kind words, MGF. I enjoy your posts, too. I've gone from a "reader-only" to an intermittent "poster"--only took me a few years to share on this blog! I try to restrict my Adam talk with my non-fan friends (I want to keep these great friendships)so hopefully I can meet up with some of you like-minded people in the future and not hold back. I think some of us hold Masters degrees in Adam knowledge.

Then let's do it, Glamberts. Tweet this to all news agencies, TVs, Radios, Internet sites, etc.

This is such amazing news! What a perfect award honoring Adam.....so, so true! I know we, the Glamily, are all so proud of Adam. I wonder if Sam Sparro will be there to share in the joy of performing 'Shady' with Adam and Nile. Looks like 2013 is starting out great for Adam!

Very exiting news. This fundraising gala was originally scheduled back in October but was canceled by hurricane Sandy. Nile had thanked Adam for help with the rescheduling donations and I was hoping maybe Adam would be going to the event then. Sting and Trudie Styler were the original honorees but a close friend of theirs died and the memorial conflicts with this event and they will be honored in April instead. Very nice that Adam is being honored now and so cool he will be performing with Nile! Shady is one of my favorites. I just need to figure out how to get to there to see it now! :)

12:34 PM, more than just Adam will be performing but I'm pretty sure you will have an incredible time if you can go. Nile is a legend and worth seeing.

CHRISTINA AGUIERA’s “Just A Fool” Was First Recorded By ADAM LAMBERT: Morning Mix

Did You Hear?

In a recent interview with Music Week, British songwriter Steve Robson talked about co-writing Christina Aguilera‘s duet with Blake Shelton, “Just A Fool.” Robson revealed that the song was initially pitched to Pink, but then ADAM LAMBERT recorded a version.

Lambert’s version was scrapped from his album “at the last minute,” before making its way over to Xtina.
Oh, to hear that Lambo take! [Music Week]

So proud of Adam, this is wonderful. Congratulations Adam no one deserves it more than you! This energy Internet radio thing, hope that is right name so fantastic getting Adam music known around the world, for the ones that are not familiar with it. Seem's like many are considering the huge response they are getting to it, plus many more that seem to be hearing it or reallyoving it. This will also help his new alb music, get out there faster! If many must love it world wide, they said he was getting a huge amount of requests and sounds like favorable response! Think said they were gonna do a show for Adam, something like that! These awards are great, most especially this one here, no one deserves this more than Adam, rather they ate honoring him, don't know about award. Also Glaad Award! So proud of Adam, 3013 is starting out well! I say this on other site someone liked panel, American idol, part of it, it seems! I think it awful except for KU, he not enough to pull you in! Yes it is deverse but NM watch it 30 minutes could not stand her! Or MC, who can at least sing, not liking Randy any more either! Enough of that! So proud of Adam this is a huge honor for him what a treat, to see Nile and Adam perform, hope some of you can go, my health won't let me but hope someone here can go, it gonna be epic! Sue

The unity award goes to someone who made "tremendous efforts and inroads into making the human condition better around the world through their work as an artist." I am glad his courage to just be himself and put his experience in song and to speak up about supporting the bullied in being strong, etc. is being honored. I know his message of encouragement to fully express your unique self has inspired me.

If your able to get tickets for this event...your nuts if you miss out! Nile is fantastic and a mastermind of music and charisma and combined with Adam's vocals and Nile's incredible band this will be pure wonderment!
Plus, it helps Nile's Foundation.
Waiting a long time for this to happen.
