Adam is number one on the list.

VIA FUSE:

Adam Lambert:

The 'American Idol' season 8 runner-up came out to 'Rolling Stone' in the summer of 2009: "I don't think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear I'm gay. I've been living in Los Angeles for eight years as a gay man. I've been at clubs drunk making out with somebody in the corner."

Yea Adam...Whole Lot of Love and yes you've given people a lot of that and they in return. When I first started following and writing about you...I remember saying you were making deep cracks and kicking down doors, at first very much by yourself and other fervent people; now it looks like a whole lot of people have heard you and lining up to kick down those closed doors, one at a time.

A bit off-topic but interesting: I just read a bio of Bowie by Marc Spitz and found a fabulous mention of Adam (pg.182).

It was in reference to Bowie's sexual ambivalence, "the 'is he or isn't he?' mystique,the kind that helped propel the likes of Michael Stipe, Ellen DeGeneres, Angelina Jolie, and most recently, Lady Gaga and American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert (who performed a three-song Bowie medley on the show's annual summer tour) from mere stars to pop-icons."

Now, keep in mind that this was PUBLISHED in 2009! Quite a statement so early in his career!!

I have that RS magazine and am so glad I have it. Adam was so open and honest, no filter and trusting. He's come a long way in the past 4 years. He looked so young and handsome. Now he looks like a mature man and will always be handsome. @ choons, Thanks for sharing the Marc Spitz mention of Adam, especially the fact of being mentioned in 2009.

@choons
Thanx for that info, I did not know that, impressive that Adam was mentioned that early on. This is the kind of thing I look for in comments because, good as 24//7 is, there is still lots more good stuff about Adam out there.

Not this again!!! are you calling Adam a liar?? He is the one who knows about his orientation. And he said many times he is gay and has Sauli to love and yes to have sex with! So get over it and move on!God We want him to be recognized as an artist for crying out loud! Why do you want to bring up his orientation? He´s gay and proud of it as he should be. None of your beeswax.

JAK here.....it's pretty easy to identify a gay guy haven't you noticed they all look alike? Matt Bomer, Jesse Tyler Fergerson, Richard Chamberlin, Sir Ian Mckellen, Chris Colfer, Clay Aiken, Ricky Martin, Sean Hayes, Nathan Lane,Lance Bass, Nate Berkus, Anderson Cooper, Alan Cumming, and that stereotypical gay guy Barney Frank.

Strangely enough they look like real men, cause they are real men....just like Adam. I'm going to bed....good night!

JAK, don't forget Rock Hudson

JAK here....I purposely left out Rock...never forgave him for breaking my teenage heart. I had so many dreams and waking schemes to meet him, enchant him and marry him!
Reality was a cruel blow!......besides I only included Live guys!
