I think the poster of the pic may have done a little photo-shopping, maybe to remove something in the background, and subsequently truncated Adam's left arm. If you look at the right sleeve of his t-shirt it ends well above his elbow, whereas his left sleeve is right at the elbow. (stump) - hope this is the explanation, otherwise something creepy going on.

No, Adam's arm is bent to put around the guy in the pic but the sleeve overhangs the bend in his arm a little. No photoshopping, no amputation.

I know he has his arm around the fan but it is still too short from his shoulder to his elbow. Not sure why it looks like that.

Maybe Adam was holding the guy's hand and who ever took this pic. decided to erase Adam's arm all the way to his elbow make it look like Adam has his arm behind the guy so the crays won't have crazy thoughts. LOL!

It looks like that because his shirt is probably shifted to the left rather than on his shoulders perfectly straight and due to the perspective.

So you guys can't recognize and/or ignore trolls and you are willing to believe twitter/photos/trolls tell you Adam and Sauli have broken up and are hiding it but you think somebody photoshopped his arm?? OK, whatever.
