Seems to be a genuine article re: Adam and Sauli. I know there's been a lot of speculation, but this makes me really sad.

I was just going to post the interview with Adam that announces their break-up. I have tears in my eyes...but it sounds like it was a mutual decision and they're still friends. Even I was beginning to believe the rumors...and apparently it been confirmed. I wish them both the best:

Glam rocker and American Idol Season 8 runner up Adam Lambert announced in an interview with SFGN that he and his boyfriend Sauli Koskinen have split up.

“It’s been kind of on its way out in the last couple of months,” Lambert told SFGN.

Koskinen is a Finnish entertainment reporter, television host and radio personality. He rose to fame after winning his country’s version of Big Brother in 2007.

Lambert emphasized though the two are close and will continue to remain friends.

“Sauli and I remain really good friends, and I know it’s a cliché thing to say. But it’s totally true,” he said. “I just gave him a coffee and bagel earlier today. He’s a great person and we’ve had an amazing couple of years together. Things have just run their course.”

Lambert and Koskinen’s relationship though hasn’t always been smooth sailing. In 2011 the couple was arrested in Helsinki after a dispute led to a physical altercation.

However that appeared to be only a minor blip in their relationship with both of them brushing it off.

“Fame is not easy. Celebrities are only human. Love is not easy either, but it is forever!” Koskinen wrote in a blog post. While Lambert laughed it off on Twitter tweeting: “Jetlag+Vodka=blackout. Us÷blackout=irrational confusion. jail+guilt+press=lesson learned. Sauli+Adam+hangover burgers= laughing bout it.”

Lambert attributed the break up to their hectic schedules.

“I’ve been getting really busy and traveling a lot and and he’s been getting really busy because he has a show he’s filming for Finnish television,” he said. “So we just decided to part ways.”

SFGN was interviewing Lambert in advance of his upcoming performance at Miami Beach PrideFest taking place April 14 on Miami Beach"..

Well that's makes me sad as well...I fell bad for both of them as this is very private matter...but as we know they won't be able to keep it that way...rose petal

It makes me so sad also:( But I appreciate that Adam finaly said it because it has been so obivious. Now we can let that behind and I really wish best of luck to both of them!! I don`t know if I will stay here because I was Sauli`s fan first and I do like some of Adam`s music but well let`s see whitch way he go.. I really want to say that I hope Adam will succeed and I hope all the best to all writers here also! It has been fun and interesting journey with you!

Two things: First, I'm glad Adam finally announced the truth of the situation. Second, I'm glad the reason doesn't seem to be about core feeling or beliefs or personality clashes or cheating or a huge fight. It seems to be more about the life of two busy people in the public eye. That's a relief for me, anyway. And it looks like they'll be friends and probably see each other from time to time. Time apart can make or break a relationship. If they were much older, it might be different. But they're both on that upward climb, and their focus is on their careers. I think they'll be friends for a long time.

AND, just found out on Adamtopia about the trending. It's really very cool. People are tweeting about things that are important in their lives "BecauseOfAdamLambert." Very cool things being posted.

Once again, I'm so glad Adam and Sauli's breakup doesn't seem to be because of a huge fight or cheating or anything like that. Just two lives moving in different directions. Adam introduced Sauli to the U.S., which opened incredible doors for him. I'm sure Sauli is grateful for that. Doens't sound like they're mad at each other.

It is said finally. I don`t think Sauli will stay LA so it`s easy to say they are friends. Time will tell that and I`m sure they both will be OK and that`s the main thing. Adommy crays are surely happy now..

Ok now everyone that thought they should just come clean with it, tell truth there it is! I don't know I believe article's but this looks I guess reliable! Honestly I have thought it, but was not giving in to the cruel way some here were treating it, not talking about the people who alway's support Adam. Adam has been very busy this last year, and then there will be the album after that he will be super busy! sauli working on career more. They both look better than ever and got a lot positive out of the two plus years there friends, and now it's time for us to move on, and let them move on. Sue

They both seem happy and will remain friends. I don't think this all ended in a bad way. Just a "move forward" way. We may see them together occasionally. I think they care deeply about each other.

I think both of them have moved on and they look happy on their recent pictures.

Sauli did mention recently that he would be back in Finland this summer. I thought it odd at the time, but this explains it. I wondered how Adam felt about Sauli working on his new show with Niko. That has been a bit of a problem for Adam, as we know he can be very possesive and jealous. I guess true love does not last forever, for everyone. I wish the best for both of them and for their careers. It's always been very hard for couples to have separate careers, and in most cases impossible. I think Adam will bury himself in his new album and try to get used to living alone again. Not sure if Sauli would ever had a career in the US since he cannot work here. He will probably spend his life between Finland and US, he has many friends here. It hasn't been mentioned whether not having a visa for here has been some part in this break up.

I guess it's all good and Adam and Sauli will remain friends. But, I just can't help feeling so sad. I think some of us were living vicariously thru their wonderful romance and now 'real life' has caused that to end. Well, I wish them both happiness.

niko I am sure had nothing to do with this. Busy life styles and I think the magic of the relationship, just not there anymore! They are friends and trust each other, I think Adam can always confide in Sauli and it would not end up in a news article and visa versa! They also a beautiful that came out if this to have a friend both of them can trust to confide in or get an opinion of! Adam will be there for him if he needs anything I am sure. Obviously good things for both came out if the relationship, the romantic stuff over but there friendship live there, and they trust each other. I do not think Adam anymore jealous and possessive than anyone else he just more honest about it! It over now, lets start getting 100 positive comments on Adam and his career. Whoever had been here solely for the relationship, and not Adam's career because that what this site for, it's also time to move on. I don't mean that in a mean way.this site has just been taken over by this, it's time to get back to Adam's music, personal appearances all of it!most all here are Adam fans, now that there nothing to speculate on, the few that may been here for Sauli be happy go to his site follow his career, I wish you all happiness.
