Well I say take that American Idol ,so dumb not having Adam on this year.There ratings are slipping. I know Fantasia has a new album coming out but what did Clay Aiken have to promote. what did he sing? Hope they at least talk about what Adam has been doing. Love all the attention he is getting on China Idol!

I have a question. Just how big a star is Adam in China? I know he is over there a lot. But since I don't live there, I don't know. Can anyone give me a comparison of someone I'm familiar with here in the US.
All I know is that if I want Adam news here, I have to hunt for it online.

So Clay Aiken sang Bridge over Troubled Water that he did his season finale. So why can't Adam go on and sing Mad world or really anything off his album. Clay got a standing ovation, the judges didn't give Adam one after NCOE. I know it was different judges but Randy could have stood up then. Okay so I am being petty, sorry just need to vent. Adam is an international star but AI doesn't treat him like one JMO!

@12:10 the fact that Adam got the award in China for most popular international pop star says a lot. He is extremely popular there it seems to me and they appreciate his talent!Also doing the promo for China Idol and then he will be on the finale. His We are Family tour in China did excellent.

Adam said he wouldn't be on AI because he had nothing new to promot. But, I think they should have him on anyway. Lots of the AI viewers have never heard anything from TP. He could sing any song from that or from anything else, for that matter. Clay A. is not relevant. Adam IS. I wish he'd be on AI anyway. Talk about a ratings boost! Why doesn't AI see this?

Maybe Adam didn't want to be on AI or couldn't be on it for some reason. They can kiss his you know what in my books, the way I see it. He is too good for them anyway.

AI is over & done! Fried! It's a Talent show & after watching Adam's performances with all the voting bs & AI upset on Adam's season, I felt that AI is insulting our intelligence!!!

We all voted & thank AI for giving us Adam.
Now move on to better shows, gotta to Progress!!!

Adam and his mgmt may have smartly turned down AI, one never knows... AI does need a boost, but after all they messed up the year KA won. Adam may be moving away from Idol and that is a smart move in the USA. He'd be better off mentoring on the Voice like Kelly Clarkson did:)

Yes, maybe he could be on, but just doesn't want to. He knows he could sing any song on the show. Maybe you're all correct. Dunno.

I would personally love to see Adam on The Voice as an "advisor" to the teams. He would be fabulous..and this show is the one people are watching now. MAJOR exposure..and the contestants could get some great advice from him. People seem to think he's on there anyway ;)))) So why not actually BE on there! Win/win.

Simon Fuller is paired with the producer's of China Idol the same producer of American idol. They went for Adam have a feeling Adam will have a lot to do with China Idol! Simon Fuller and fox China and the Chinese producers could have gotten any from Idol CU, KC, PP, CD. Numerous other's to start off the show and be on the finale. They picked Adam because he is popular in Asia and did very well on the voice China. I doubt Randy would ever stand up for Adam he threatened his job the only one from idol they considered for the job and a possibility he may get one if there jobs next year not likely CA will. It is a possibility you never know, but he already a big part if Idol China. He may end up being a stable guess year to year as long as ratings good. To say American idol's rating have slipped is a big understatement they were getting around 27,000,000 weekly and close to 30,000,000 at the finale the year Adam was there, they have slipped to 12.5 million now and at one point slipped 10 million! The voice is not up against them it's on mon. And tues but for first time ever the voice as beat Idil ratings last two weeks are so with 13.5 million! Only half if them usually stand up because MC dress as she stated is to tight, NM does not stand all time either. I did not watch at all the result show taped in in case of an Adam where are they now thing! A standing O from that bunch like the JL bunch means little. C A has not been on that show in at least 5 years ! Up to now Adam every year. I did not watch the CA one he been a total ass to Adam would never give him a view, unless Adam in same show! What counts is Adam got the only standing o that really stands out from Simon Fuller and is still loved and supported by an original judge Paula A. She so proud of Adam and lets him know it on every victory he gets. Never heard her do that for anyone else. Last year he should up Randy but the three did not stand as much for guest last year but they were tired from giving a standing O to every single almost , contestant and a couple of janitors! Every single person could stand for Adam they probably would not for Adam too much competition for them. I do remember ST saying perfect about Adams performance. I think we all know Adam is the best singer to come out if that show, what counts the he no threat to the Audiance and they gave him a big response remember Adam smiled and said wow. I still think towards the very end they may talk about the new China idol, and show Adam Asia popularity who knows! But who but him was over helping start C Idol but Adam many more viewer's there! Adam does have good popularity in Asia I believe many business opportunities will start there for Adam. CU And KC may have it here Adam got it abroad, we all have or niche in life. Hope fully new album conquers all. Lets be happy for Adam success I have feeling you ain't seen nothing yet in Asia, for Adam he steadily growing there. I read several articles in couple days stated that Adam is a big deal in Asia! I just looking forward too goo things to come and they are coming! Also this year they are trying to prove how much talent came out of Idol. Sure they talked about what CA did years past and the apprentice but he sold literally no albums lately! No matter what anyone says Adam doing well abroad, and he steadily growing not going down but steadily gaining fans. Interesting that I was listening to the radio and the DJ said the Voice's ratings were down last night even though Bruno Mars was on. He said it wasn't Bruno's fault just that the ratings were dropping. So I think people are getting tired of these singing shows. I know I haven't watched for a long time and Adam spoiled all of them for me. No one can compare!

Adam has spoiled all the singing shows for me, too. I've tried to get interested, but I couldn't care less.

Usually when previous winners or contestants appear on Idol, it is to promote their new single. Since Adam doesn't have any new music out, I would guess that he will not be performing this season. Maybe when he has a new single out from the third album he will be working on, then he might be on Idol next season promoting a new song. And as long as Adam Levine is on The Voice, I doubt that Adam Lambert would be on as a judge or mentor at the same time.

Well guess Adam is all over China Idol same guy that started AI is starting China. He did say he would probably on it next year, I assume the American will still be here the rating's are bad! Why couldn't Adam be a mentor (they call them "advisors" on The Voice I think..) while Adam Levine is a a Coach/Judge? Just curious...

Maybe Adam could be a judge on China Idol (if he were interested) but it mightn't give him big coverage in the U.S.

I think it's been mentioned on this blog before that Ryan Tedder is an advisor on The Voice Australia this year. What a coup. I so hope he collaborates with Adam again.

Having new music out doesn't seem to be a prerequist for Idol this year, Casey Abrahams sang a Beatles cover, Clay reprised a song he did on the show, Stefano is on this week, his 'latest' single came out in january, Casey James was on, his single isn't that new either.
No reason Adam can't be on....they need somebody...they've got Stefano and Lee Dewyze this week!!!

@Anon 8:10 pm - Totally agree with you. Adam Levine is very insecure. The flap over Adam's song last year put Levine in hot water from the Glamberts on twitter. Levine did not actually apologize to Adam - he said he wished he had fans like our Adam. It would have been MUCH better if Levine had said he listened to Adam singing WWFM and he was awesome! However, Levine was not man enough to say it..nancdruuu2
