Love the beat, love the melody, love Adam singing! Didn't Nirvana have lyrics "lay me down" in the song?

These lyrics definitely have an Adam ring to them IMO and Adam has writing credit so I'm not surprised at the sound of these lyrics.

I've also pre-orded "True" on iTunes. So excited that LMD made Avicii's album.

These lyrics also strike me as so Adam... and Adam from way back, as well as the past four years or so; from the "Beg for Mercy" songs era completely. I don't know how much Adam contributed to LMD, but anyone who has followed Adam from Idol (and delved in to his pre-Idol days which many of us hard core fans have) will know LMD definitely has an Adam feel in it lyrically... perhaps it is coincidence, I understand that for sure, but if so, it is a happy coincidence, a fitting one!

I saw the writing credits someplace and it was Avicii, Adam and Nile.

I cannot hear one word clearly , of course I like the generic beat, but the vocal is still lost!

Hard for us to tell if they sound like Avicii lyrics since most of us aren't familiar with his lyrics.

I like this way better than Wake Me Up.

Went to NZ iTunes and could order True for September release and noticed Wake me up is No4 on iTunes NZ.
It would be great if Lay me down was Avicii's next single.

Was this actually Adam on stage singing? Confused. I like the song. That will get you dancing. Plus, people really like it in that audience. Details of when this vid was shot and is it the three of them? Thx.

2:59, Avicii is a dj who plays mostly his own music. So it is a big dance party where Avicii chooses the songs and what order they play in to keep the audience dancing. Very rarely do other musicians join him on stage to play the song live. People pay huge amounts of money to see his shows. It's like a giant dance party, not a traditional concert.

2:50 it's not a vid of of Avicii, Nile and Adam. Avicii is a DJ and he was playing it at one of his gigs. Ya never know this song could land up a single someday. Fingers X'd.

2:59, basically it's just Avicii and his turntables and computers up on the stage. Add in a light and graphics show and thousands of screaming dancing fans.

Somehow watching this vid feels a bit awkward for an older music lover...
I mean there is a huge stage and this dj ALONE with all his computers and other music related equipment in the center of the stage. The huge crowd is mostly staring at the stage, at him...and that is the show... of course there are lights etc. However, the dancing is mostly done with only their hands up in the air...maybe there's no room to move, lol.
We used to dance our asses off in discos... Of course it was very important who was the dj but we did not stare at the dj, we were there to dance... NOW these djs' are worldwide stars and fill huge stadiums...and it looks like they are in a concert... or a mixture of a rave & concert... But what is there to stare?!? A plain looking guy in the middle of a huge control panel... to pay huge amount to stare at him from a far....please, somebody tell me what's the big deal, why are they so popular now?

If this is one of the directions Adam is going we are in for a treat! I am lovin' this song, even a bad recording sounds like a hit. Hope Adam, Nile and Avicii have more music up their sleeves.

4:22, it's about the music and how they remix it and blend one song into the next. And about dancing. Is Adam only about staring at for you or is he about the music? (Not that I mind looking at Adam but that's not my primary reason.)

This is something new and different for me as well. I just want Adam to get the credit for it and to hear his great voice of course! I like the beat/song a lot!........nancdruuu2

this song will be a hit! but, it will not be about Adam' vocals. it does introduce him to a new audience. i love that the crowd for the most part were into it! did i say, I LOVE THIS SONG!!

The audience really seems to like it. This is the perfect promotion he needs for a song to be a hit. Hoping it will be released as a single and even if it is not, just think how many people will still be introduced to him and his talent!!

Love, love, love Adam but the singing part needs to be updated. It needs maybe Adam's falsetto voice or maybe rapping. It needs something weird, different, unusual, a hook or something exciting in the vocals to appeal to the young folks. The music is great but Adam needs to change it up. I know I didn't expressed myself well, but something is missing in the vocals that I just can't put my finger on it. It needs to be popping. It needs to be explosive!

The vocals need to be clearer. Sound muffled here but hopefully sound better on the album. It sounds like a song I've heard before, the name of which escapes me at the moment.

I'm just looking at all those brand new Adam fans in the crowd!woohoooo!!

There are at least a couple of these DJ's that are super popular right now with the young crowd. My son is a huge fan of them. Adam will hopefully gain a new, young bunch of fans!

@JAK, weren't you the one that said your grandson knows Skrillex? My son saw him a few months ago. He is a perfect example of this lastest DJ craze with their huge stage light shows. Here is a video with a HUGE crowd:

@ daydreamin.....JAK here.....yes, you have a good memory. Skrillex stays at the hotel where my grandson works so my Jamie has gotten to know him. They have hung out on several occasions. Jamie sent me photos of himself with Skrillex and Jared Leto.....it was kind of funny. My grandson is more than a foot taller than Skrillex and a half foot taller than Leto......a weird trio...
He keeps me up to date with the celebs at the hotel, who is nice, who is not.....he gives a thumbs up to Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift, they are appreciative and polite and friendly to all the staff, but his all time favorite guests were George Lucas, Spielberg and Harrison Ford , A little hero worship there!

9:33 and 10:14, why don't you wait until we get a decent version of the song or an official release before you critic the song. BTW, how are your careers in the music industry going?

This will attract the younger crowd who party on for sure. Incredible sound that will break through the industry.

Read some articles said the sound with Avinci DJ, Nile Rodgers and Adam L strong vocals this song Lay me down a Disco sound. Sounds like a no. 1 hit. Said even with the low audio, with Adam L strong vocals it was a hit. Cannot wait to hear good version of the audio, but I love it. I would certainly make no assumptions about the vocals until one with proper audio surfaces. Again love it, gonna buy.
