Thanks for the vids. Can't get enough! As for the Sydney "Is This Love," well, it's just sublime. Period.

listening to IIHY from AOL Sessions, I must say that his band back then was superior (sick that he and Monte had a parting of the ways)..liked his hair better then too..but, he, as all of us has had to grow up a bit and that necessates a change. I sincerely hope that we will NOT be seeing the 'back-up singers, or dancers' again..not enough talent for Adam's band..the whole band now is really not good enough..but I guess he will have to earn more money in order to secure better talented people..but, hope he never gets rid of Tommy...

bestest concert eva. Adam and the band poppin and rockin. Negative planters to the left please.

Anonymous said...

you know what would really get the fans and media talking..he should go up to Ashley and plant a wet juicy lip lock on her..and then remark "ummm..not bad!" can you just imagine the press that would get..

Anonymous said...

3:29 oh yea that would be so shocking. not

Anonymous said...

Bestest, coolest and sexiest thing EVAH (so far, lol) was when Adam licked Cam's neck with that UNF sound... spur of the moment things, Adam's the Man!

Anonymous said...

Was there in Sydney and can tell you "Is This Love' was breathtaking stuff! Best ever! Adam was bloody stunning and looked so beautiful that night.

Sorry and ooops, forgot OT and IMO from my post above...

And thanks TALC for excellent vids!

@3:22 I had a Glam Nation and Unplugged night and it was awesome to re-live those euphoric memories.
FYE was an awesome album. I too thought of Monte and despite all the hype, missed him. Shame things didn't work out, but yes, love Tommy.

Live Proud Is This Love lacking all emotion.

@11:35am, I was just watching this again yesterday. I have it in my favorites - full screen. Love Adam all blonde and gingery.

Anonymous said...

Lacking emotion? LOL it was cute, funny and a little naughty.

monte to busy with madonna anyway maybe slash could play or lindsey buckingham

Adam's band is excellent but lacks a little innovation. I heard Adam say there's something in the pipeline like a tv show Queen/Adam; perhaps 60% Queen songs and 40% Adam songs will make a total knock-out tv show as well as a dvd/cd sell-out. Hey, what do you say Dr Brian and Roger Taylor...that's your altruistic 'godson'.

I know most of you are watching videos of Adam's concerts in Orlando, San Diego, and LiveProud; in honor of Adam one year anniversary of his performance with Queen watch this performance of Dragon Attack in Poland last year. Here, enjoy it, and happy Sunday:

@ 7:PM Thanks for the memory. Adam should have a runway at ALL his concerts--so we could all have a chance to soak it all in! The stage is too remote-no matter where we're sitting!

Anonymous said...

I would be thrown out by Security if I went to a concert where people talked all thru Outlaws of Love and Is This Love. I would
stand up and scream "SHUT UP"!!!!
I could understand one woman's entire conversation thru both songs.......and I'm deaf in one ear! I would definitely be hauled off, hopefully before I attacked someone.
After the vid. the pop ups showed Adam singing OOL in Nagoya, Japan.
He got a loud greeting and then rapt silence while he sang, then a rousing ovation. Respect is alive and well in that culture..........
JAK.....feeling crabby :(

Wow! Yes that's exactly what I've been trying to voice out all along! Look how sensitive and concerned Queen band is, in highlighting Adam's skills/high notes. This particular Dragon Attack version is super...love that constant rumble with no harsh banging and smashing, instead, subtle and mystic. Watch Roger and Dr Brain maestros and Adam maestro, the last one my favourite maestro. lol! The whole performance is absolutely professional. Hmm that bird of paradise flaming jacket could not be duplicated, hard though they tried. lol! Thank you! Restored my confidence. lol!

Correction.....Dr Brian. I guess it's okay both ways. lol!

If people want to come to an Adam concert and talk throughout the performances, esp. with poignant ballads, then they should just stay home. It's great to sing along to certain parts of a song or to cheer at the beginning or the end, but appreciate the performance and let those around you take it all in. Clap, jump, wave your arms along with the music, but take the talking outside the venue. It's the same in the movies where you pay all this money for a ticket, and people around you are talking or constantly checking their cell phones. Stay home and don't disrupt my enjoyment of the film. I guess this hot, humid weather is making me crabby too.

I agree that Adam should have a runway to come out into the audience as he performs. But then they would have to increase the security around him, for those crazy, aggressive fans who would want to get near him. I've watched a lot of videos of his recent concerts at these fairs and entertainment venues, and there is just something lacking in the cohesiveness of the performances. Whether it's the banter in between songs, the introduction of a song, or even Adam's connection to the band, I can't pinpoint it specifically, but something needs to be added to make a better connection within the song list..and I don't mean backup singers or dancers either. Maybe I am wrong since what I get to see are the individual vids and perhaps if I saw the entire concert, I would feel differently. Hopefully I will have this chance sometime in the future when he releases the third album and puts together a tour.

I surfed couple of fansites and fans who were at SD concert are talking about rumors, of Adam moving to Eurpoe for couple of months and working on new music maybe with Queen, were talked about by an unnamed English connection. Any of you who went to SD heard anything about this?

Anonymous said...

Yes, the talking is rude. Those are two songs I really love too. People talked when he was belting out those awesome lyric runs in Soaked as well. I mean going to see Adam live was better than anyone I have ever seen live before.

Anonymous said...

Well, even based on videos, you should to a large extent be able to gauge the concert degree of professionalism; with good speakers and clear videos. I've been through a 1-1/2 hour Trespassing concert and based on that live experience which I treasure for having seen Adam live... I now have a somewhat clearer idea how accurate it is the live performances as compared to the videos; my conclusion: it's close other than that real live Adam presence effect which is irreplaceable.

Hope that UK/Queen rumor is true.. I also can't understand how people can keep on talking during a live performance. Why are they there, anyway? You can go talk anywhere, but llstening to a live performance is special. I just don't get it. Love the vids, everyone! Thank you. We all love the TP songs, but we're ready, willing able to move on to some new stuff! Queen, Adam originals, everything!

I wish people wouldn't talk during the songs too. Often I wish people wouldn't sing along because I paid to hear Adam sing but I know that is dreaming on my part for the hit songs. I also wish people would put down their phones. I can't believe the few times I have seen iPads in vids from the audience.

Anonymous said...

Lam-my-you are so funny! When you typed Dr. Brain, I thought you were being fecetious-just displaying a great sense of humor. You absolutely were right, either way, Dr. Brain or Dr. Brian! Dr. Brian would have just loved your comment!

Anonymous said...

9:18
Thanks for the humour part but I can't claim credit. I've misspelt Dr Brian as Dr Brain several times before but always managed to correct it before print; it finally got its way. lol! I guess because he's so smart. lol!

He often signs his name Dr. Bri

People who talk/sing while an artist is singing are bad-mannered, disrespectful to both the artist and the audience and self-focused.

@7;55 PM Didn't hear any rumors in SD about Adam going to Europe to work with Queen-but who knows?

Anonymous said...

7:55 - that rumour came from a comment posted by a friend of Adam on one of his instagram pics. It said "London bound", which suggested to some people that he was going there. Not necessarily to live but maybe for whatever he is doing with Queen. Who knows?

Anyone seeing Adam in New York, knows that he can benefit a lot from moving around a bit and raising his profile in a few key places before the next cd. He has to be thinking about spending quality time there as well. He's a
summer boy, though. He won't be gone too long from California.

Anonymous said...

I would love to go to London.

Anonymous said...

I hope you get a chance, it's wonderful. The great buildings that survived the bombings of WW11 are magnificent. The museums are fantastic, the shopping is divine Harrods can take a whole day, and getting lost in Kensington and Hyde Park trying to find the charming statue of Peter Pan will become a do or die quest! Go if at all possible!

Anonymous said...

Adam should move to London because it would do him good careerwise. Endless Idol speculations and charity gigs are not going to take him very far. He is gay and that is the name of the problem in the US. Any straight man with his looks and voice would top all the charts and get all the opportunities there are in the music business.

Also, a change of scenery might help Adam to grow up a little and help get rid of the repetitive LA clubkid scene. He is not a kid anymore and he can't go on acting like one if wants to be remembered as an exceptionally talented singer he is.

Naturally he needs new music and gifted musicians to back up his career. Brian might be worth taking along since he is both talented and able to PERFORM in front of the audience. Tommy and Ashley should be replaced ASAP.

Anonymous said...

I also can't stand it when fans talk throughout Adam's performances. I can somewhat understand shouting your love for Adam during a performance, but having a conversation - no! Remember, the person calling for take-out pizza during one of Adam's performances. Adam had to call her out. Luckily Adam knows that some cultures seem to have more "respect" for an artist than others. Because of who Adam is he understands that it is what it is. Some fans just cannot be quiet. Kind of reminds me of my dearly departed Mom, for some reason, she always started talking in church - although she was very religious.lol>>>>>>>>>>nancdruuu2

Let Adam handle his life, please! I feel sure something on the horizon with Queen!

6:40 I am sooo sick of you YOUR repetitive posts you make me barf. Please get a life ASAP.

Anonymous said...

at 7:56 AM

And you've got one...?

How many posts do you think I have written on this board? Certainly fewer than you but with a lot more contents than yours ever.

And for the record, 6:40 is mine, nothing else is.

Anonymous said...

Well 6 40 I am a different poster but your comment is dumb. They didn't play his music in the uk either. He has no support there

Anonymous said...

7 44

You seem unclear on the concept of a message board where people come to talk about adam and his career.

Anonymous said...

9:02 it looks like 7:44 was just dropping her message off too.

Anonymous said...

at 8:36 AM

American Idol might not be the best possible platform if you want your records sold or played in the UK. As for the gay aspect, I don't think it is a big problem, at least it is not a religious issue. It is also possible that you need to look a bit shabbier in order to get some sort of credibility among the locals. :)

Anonymous said...

I think he is looking for theater, acting or hosting gigs at the moment. It doesn't do him any good to put an album out right now because he will not be played.

Anonymous said...

Anon @ 11:28AM -You commented that it doesn't pay for Adam to put out an album now because it will not be played. So when is the right time for Adam to put out a third album? Will he ever get the recognition and acceptance for his music in this country that his fans want for him? For someone who works so hard at his performances and gives so much to the audience, he just can't seem to get the radio play and tour concerts that he should.

Anonymous said...

I don't think it is likely he will ever have any success as a pop artist. He had his shot. If he got a tv show, either idol or an acting job like Darren criss did on glee, then maybe he could give it another try. Just like I don't think David cook or kris will ever get radio play again.

Anonymous said...

@ 6:40 am. Adam moving to London to get away from the gay clubs is ludicrous. Have you ever heard of Soho?
A 200 year reputation for sex industry and at present has some (many many) of the hottest gay clubs in London.
Out of the frying pan into the fire is a phrase that comes to mind! : )
I recall Adam performed at G.A.Y. Club with great success!

Anonymous said...

at 12:37 PM

Sure, I've been there many times and nowadays Soho is full of tourists from all over the world. I assume it is not the only place where you can meet gays in London. LOL

You folks are pretty "good" arquing with each other, lol - no matter how these comments start they are ending to a big fight. I think that is not what Adam wants his fans to do... we should be friends all over the world and be open minded. I enjoy Adams music, his band, his Voice and skills and his nice personality. I think he knows what he is doing with his career, we don't need to plan it or give advice to him.

I think it would do him good to take a short break, a few months, half a year perhaps, pack his rucksack and travel the world as a perfectly ordinary person and get acquainted with something else than shops and stages.

Anonymous said...

Hey Kindred sister...are you still in the forest...you need to take Adam into the deep forest for a summer vacation like the one you had; away from shops, stage and internet. lol! Actually, this is beneficial to the mind, and nature's sounds might inspire Adam.

Lam-my

@2:56 Adam is not a nature. Lol, I wonder if he's ever been in the forest.
