I am as well but I am just fine and I hope someday would share it with someone.

I am amused by people who think California is all Hollywood.

It is a huge state with only two massively populated areas: 1) So Cal is basically the Pacific coastal areas from north of Los Angeles south to San Diego; 2) The Bay area again the coastal areas surrounding San Francisco.

The central coast where Paso Robles is lies north of Los Angeles and south of San Francisco and is cattle country with vast ranches and smallish towns of approx. 100,000 people. Inland from the central coast is the central valley where every fruit, vegetable and nut are grown in orchards farther than the eye can see. North of Sacramento (the state capitol with about 250,000 population) there are many small towns about 30 miles apart. In between these towns are orchards growing walnuts, almonds, cashews and pistacheos. You name a nut, it's grown there except for peanuts (they grow underground). It's a beautiful state and once you get out in the country the air is pure and the scenery beautiful. It has the tallest mountain and the lowest elevation in the continental US. You can ski in mountains in the morning and dine over the waters of the Pacific in the evening.

I'm beginning to sound like a travel agent, so I'll sign off now and reiterate that California is not ALL HOLLYWOOD.
